If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Fantastic service. My car was done within 24 hours, the services were done well, the prices were very fair and they went above and beyond my expectations. They changed my oil, washed and cleaned the inside and outside of my car, and not only filled my tires but shined them all at no extra cost! I will definitely go back for all my car needs!

Highly recommend! I was having issues with my headlight and called Broadway Auto Service & Repair. Chris was able to fit me in later that day. They were able to fix it quickly and when I came back, Chris showed me that my stabilizer bar needed to be replaced. He was able to get the parts and replaced the next day. When I picked it up, they even cleaned the outside of my car! Chris and his team really know what they re doing and provide excellent service with fair prices. I will definitely be back next time I need work done on my car!

I never really the best of luck when it comes down to break downs and repairs with my cars. Unfortunately this year I had the worst issues and it all comes down to I need to the find the right mechanic to fix this. I thought I found that mechanic shop but unfortunately the shop auto tech and repair on broadway wasn t it. It was different issues every time I had to return and I was completely over it. So I decided to give Broadway Auto Service & Repair a shot. Sadly the previous owners did not give this shop the best reputation. But I ll tell you this, these guys are 10000% better. I told them the issue and what was happening. They ran a full diagnostic and took the time to break down every code. I told them my experience with the other shop and they gave me the best advice on how to go upon handling it. They popped open the hood and found the issue within minutes. In their own words you need a mechanic that loves what he does and loves everything about cars. They have now repair my fuel pump, timing belt and now an alinement. It hurts to constantly fix car issues when the repair isn t even done right. It takes a toll on you financially and mentally. But coming here at Broadway Auto Service & Repair.. it really makes me feel good to know that I have mechanics that genuinely care and will do all they can to fix your issues. Even better, make sure it is not reoccurring.

Broadway Auto Repair is quick, affordable, and very personable. I worked with Chris and called for new spark plugs. In and out very quickly. Very reasonable prices. Looking forward to working with them again.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at Broadway Auto Services. I had my car towed in due to starting issues, and despite the inconvenience, the team at Broadway Auto made the entire process pleasant, fast, and easy. As a woman, I often find auto shops intimidating, but at Broadway Auto, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was courteous, explained the issues clearly, and the prices were fair. I appreciate their professionalism and highly recommend Broadway Auto Services for a positive and trustworthy car service experience.

I m so glad I found this shop! Everyone I talked to was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The service was finished the same day, and the staff really went above and beyond to make sure it was a good experience. I ll definitely be back if I need any work done in the future!

I had a great experience here! The guys were super friendly and got my service done quickly. I'm always skeptical to try a new auto place out for fear of getting scammed, but I'll return to this location for all my future needs!

GREAT PLACE! I had to get my car towed in because my rear wheel was hanging of. Revived a easy text of the estimate in less then a hour of dropping of my car! . i will be back for future repairs

Terrible experience. They treat their customers pretty bad.Initially I went there to replace some brake pads. I told them that there was an issue with the starter of my car and that they would need to leave it overnight to hear the issue again. Instead of trying to leave it overnight, dude turns on the car and of course the problem wouldn't happen right away, and tells me there's no problem and calls me stupid. When we did leave overnight, he did hear the problem, but tells me to stop being stupid and that there's no problem with the car.After getting my brake pads replaced, I took it to a different shop a friend recommended me the next day and found out that the flex plate was pretty damaged. They also found that the brake pads were pretty worn out and need replacing (again)

My car wouldn't start on Tuesday night, on Wednesday I got it towed to Broadway Auto Repair. I get a call an hour later that it's the ignition switch, ok great! Then I get another call back that it's the starter... a little more expensive but still I'd be happy to have my car fixed. Tommy replaces the starter and it fires right up multiple times in a row at the shop. I drive off satisfied and park at my friends house.When I go to leave it won't start again. I left a message for Tommy who called me back later that night. He seemed to genuinely want to help make it right. Called me first thing in the morning on Friday to check in and see when I could get him the keys.Ultimately, he ended up going himself and getting my car towed from the street where it was dead to the shop. He called me and said that the connection to the battery was bad. He assured me I still needed the new starter but I'm not totally sold. He did not charge me anything for the tow or the fix on Friday.Overall, I had a good repair experience with Broadway Auto Repair. Tommy did everything he could to make sure my car was working, and he could have easily taken my money and left me out to dry.The only thing holding this back from being 5 stars was the diagnosis.Service: Electrical repair

My car wouldn't start (starter ran, but the engine wouldn't turn over). He was responsive to phone calls, and provided a number for a towing service. He had it fixed within a day (it was just an issue with the fuel line). I missed his call, so he had to hold onto it for another day. Still only charged me $40. He complimented my bike when I went to pick it up, and we chatted about bikes and cycling for a few minutes. He's friendly and professional. Excellent experience.Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance

Highly recommend! Started up my car and realized I had a pretty major engine issue. Called and was told t bring it over and he d look at it. Turns out it was a simple engine coil issue and he got it up and running same day. Super friendly and even stayed late into a snow storm to get it back to me. Straight-forward and honest.

Tommy the honest mechanic ,Went to Just Tires in Skokie for a wheel alignment, they denied my request and said I needed a pitman arm, sway bar and outer tierod,Thank God I found this shop called Broadway Auto repair,Tommy automatically diagnose the problem to be faulty,in which they were saying. Neither one of my front wheels were loose.He quickly repaired my outer tierod and got me back on the road within a hour, Thanks to Tommy.The honest mechanicService: Auto maintenance

Amazing work! My alternator went out and he had it fixed within 2 hours! Replaced my busted fuses and did everything great! Super accommodating and inexpensive. Can't recommend this place more.

I called and was quoted a fair to good price for Chicago. I brought the car in and it was repaired quickly and I am now a happy customer. I needed my breaks replaced. If I have another car problem this will be the first place I call. I was happy with the service and speed!

Very accommodating and honest. Car overheated, but it was just due to the hose being loose. He could've charged me more and I wouldn't know the difference, but he was honest and upfront. Nice to know that there are still good people out there. Thank you!!!

Dishonest people, My mother and myself were looking for a used SUV for the winter, and since they have repaired our vehicle in the past, we assumed that they trusted worthy, during the last week of August 2016 they contacted us. That they have a used SUV for sale that they have personally fixed up themselves and changed parts of the transmission and the only issues were there were no air condition and the front light were fogged and needed either a replacement or a good restoration kit , and assume us that if we were willing to spend an addition 500 dollars on top of the 3000 dollars asking price for the SUV that they would make sure that both the air conditioner will be working . Also the replacement of both the front head lights. Since this was auto body shop that we used in the past, there was no reason to us not to trust them. Also, they were our people as in we were both Vietnamese; it would be beyond shameful for people of your nationality to scam you. Fast forward one week after we gave them 500 dollars down for the repairs the mech we call him uncle ten in Vietnamese he then told us that we would need to put down more money because it was not using the air compression on the air condition but also the pipe now.But he assume us that this is the last issue and that they will order the part but the car is ready to be sold and driven after giving us his word, and we signed for the title we proceeded to go to the DMV to change the title papers. I kid you not within 30 mins of changing the title documents the car stop dead in the middle of the streets of Chicago.I was lucky not to get hit by another vehicle.I had to get the vehicle towed to a nearby auto body shop that I knew and explained to him that I just bought this car from another auto body shop that I trusted. The new mech provided me with a documented paper stating that the original Mech that repaired the transmission on this vehicle was not repaired it correctly. Which causes more issues to where I would need a new transmisson.with in 24 hrs I came back to the original mech shop that I brought it from and they told me that they will fix all the issues and that it was their fault and if anything they will resell the SUV. It has been over five months my SUV that they sold to me has been sitting in there a lot they have not touch it nor repair it. When i told them that they should give me my money back first and once they sell it to keep that money for themselves they said that they sold it to a friend and don't know where he is even though they admit stated that they worked on the transmission from the start and I provided them documents of the issues from another shop.These people can not be trusted not only did they scam a single mother of two but they scammed they own people of the same nationality.Now we are out of 3500 dollars. Once again this shop is filled with dishonest people and can't be trusted.
