Two years ago, they serviced the transmission on my truck, and I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, efficiency, and the quality of their work. Fast forward to recently, my truck started experiencing issues again and wouldn't shift into reverse. Initially, I was concerned, especially because I couldn't locate my receipt from the previous service. Rich the owner runs a very good shop. Reasonable costs and within stated timeframe every time i dropped a car off for work. Also, honest and generally pleasant and nice people. Surprisingly well organized and complete on paperwork for an independent car mechanic shop. Since first repair here, which was misdiagnosed as something more serious and expensive by a different mechanic, i have taken 2 cars here for various different repairs at different times over a few years, and would go again in future.

Getting pretty tired of dealing with attitudes when simply calling mechanic shops on the phone.I called and ask if they can regear my truck and whoever answered the phone first acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I explained to him (me explaining to a mechanic) what I wanted done and in the most condescending manner says you want to change your gear ratio on your differentials. I d assume this is synonymous He goes on to talk about not having time to do xzy today, and becomes real pessimistic about finding parts. I understand the time I closed and simply was inquiring about if they did it and scheduling.I say thanks and get off the phone. Couldn t image this place having solid customer service if you can t speak to people with dignity over the phone.

I have been a customer for years! I love Rich he is a honest person, which is hard to find these days. He will always tell you if something is under warranty. Very reasonable pricing. I don t live in the neighborhood anymore and still go if I want an honest assessment. Recently, I went to Hawk auto in Forrest park, they told me I needed a new front bed plate, gave me the run around after going there 3x they ordered the wrong product, then told me it would be $200 more than originally quoted. So I called Rich, drove into the city, he took my car right in and told me I just needed a couple of bolts to put the pan back up. And he didn t charge me a thing to do it! That s what a nice man he is! I recommend all my friends here.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Went there because I had a rumbling sound in my differential. And,, my speedometer was not working properly. After checking differential and, transfer case was told it was my brakes. Paid $550 left shop and, noise continued. Went to Ogden Car care in Brookfield and, the problem was a faulty speed sensor. Problem solved in about an hour. Don't go to Bridgeport TransmissionDidn't diagnos problem and, charged me for brakes that weren't needed. Rip off.

Very disrespectful. I walked in and no one acknowledged me I stood there for about 5 minutes and the lady (possible receptionist) and a guy (possible manager) was interested in their own personal conversation rather than concerned about a customer. They seemed racist to me because I walked in and they turned their heads immediately like ok she can wait even the mechanics I walked up to them first and said excuse me they looked right at me and said nothing while one of them walked away. I then proceeded to the office and there was the lady and guy deep in conversation. Also the parking lot was in an uproar. All the cars were parked all different kind of ways in no type of order at all. They were blocking an entrance and I had to park my car on the side and squeezed my way thru the cars jus to even reached the office door. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered and I have had a couple bad experiences but this one takes the cake. If you don't live in the neighborhood I'd advised you not to go.

I tried to drop off my car for a failing axle. He tells me on Wednesday to drop it off Friday. Friday he says four cars came in Thursday and he wouldn't get to it till next week. Thanks for wasting my time you clown.

Staff was super rude to me. I was looking for manager about 5 mins, when I found some guy he told me that I have to talk to boss. Boss was the first guy that told me to ask someone else.
