I purchased my car here a few years ago and regularly come in for scheduled service. I've had nothing but good experiences and will continue brining my car here for future needs.I recently had a weird thing with a check engine light and Chuck helped to resolve it over a couple of visits. He went above and beyond to take care of the issue and was transparent and responsive throughout the entire process. I'm happy with how things worked out and appreciate the great service as always!

I went in for a TPMS tire sensor error and made an appointment with the details included in the request. I showed up and checked in. Ended up waiting for three hours with no word from the techs. I finally went back up to the counter to see what was going and he said he didn t remember checking me in and it must have been his co-worker. Reminded him that it was him and he finally went to check on my car it had been done for a bit. Left the lot and the error came back on while driving home. Not the first time this has happened there. Very frustrating service. Instead of actually checking the sensors they just reset the tire pressure. Ended up going to a local place and they actually fixed the issue in much less time.

Took my car in for an oil change and some minor things. They did a good job and washed, vacuumed and put tire shine on my car. You can't beat that with a stick ( I know that's sort of an old dad joke, but I am, in fact, an old dad so... ) Anyway, nice job and they have a lavazza machine, which is pretty cool. Heck, I may stop by there to try a cappuccino some time if they'll let me...

Berman Subaru of Chicago has one of the most organized and efficient service centers I have encountered. From the moment you pull into the garage, you are greeted by a knowledgeable service representative who quickly assesses the problem. Then you are given an estimated cost and an estimated completion time. This is first-rate service.

I went to Berman Subaru without an appointment for some minor work, and they were able to accommodate me. The attendants were very friendly and they were clear about the pricing and the timing of the service. There was a minor miscommunication but the manager personally attended to it, even calling me after hours to make sure it was corrected. It is a sign of great customer service, and I'll be bringing my vehicle there for future services.

I was looking specifically for a Subaru Impreza and spoke with Alex on the phone and Genaro helped me in the dealership. They were extremely helpful and we got through the whole process super quick and they even saved an Impreza for me when I couldn t make it in for a few days. Great experience and I love my new car!!

Traveling from Florida we noticed an oil leak and could smell the burning oil.Chuck Grant was very helpful. He got us right in and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently.

A few years back i was fixing my sti there, they didn't change my spark plugs, but charged me next to $700 for it.. s part of much bigger job.. when i sent complain to bbb, they didn't even care, cause bbb apparently doesn't care either... before that i changed 2 Bolt joints there, they replaced wrong parts, when i came back they only replaced 1 of the 2 bad ball joints, so i kept coming back thinking something else is wrong with my car, ended up buying new set of tires, then rims, then fixed numerous other parts, until my neighborhood mechanic pointed out that 1 balljoint was busted.. was the worst experience with car of my life...

Had another great experience servicing my car at Berman Subaru. Alonzo Pruitt, my Service Advisor was very professional and wonderful to work with. Sardor, the Service Manager was also very helpful in providing information and quotes for replacement of my tires

I've had my car serviced here multiple times, and each time has been a fantastic experience. Every advisor I've had (Lonnie & Jovany) has been super helpful, knowledgable, and kind. Just today, Jovany went above and beyond with his service. I plan on continuing to service my car here even after my warranty runs out because I genuinely feel that they treat their customers with respect and provide high-end, great service at a fair price.

Big shout out to Berman and my service advisor Lonnie.I came in to have an update done to my car. Lonnie was courteous, offered me options for service, and provided a loaner car. He walked me through the service and gave me an accurate time for service and pickup. He was also super accommodating with pickup.I had a great experience with the service department and highly recommend them!

Brought my car back to complete some recommended services and once again I was super impressed by the service. My advisor Jovany Mariano was courteous, knowledgeable and kept me up to date when an additional service was needed. He gets a 10 out of 10 for service. When they adjusted the price (in my favor) because of a miscalculation on the original labor quote all could say was WOW, I've never had that happen. That's the reason I drive from Evanston where the Subaru dealer is within walking distance to Berman in Chicago . Service was great! Michael was so helpful with making sure whatever I had questions and needs I had with my car were addressed. I was dropped off nearby while my car was taken care of and serviced. I appreciated everyone s professionalism and service. I will definitely be back again.

Lonnie is the greatest! I was visiting my daughter in Chicago. I drove from Harlngen Texas. Since I was here I thought I would see if I could have a technician look at two intermittent problems I was having. I got an early morning appointment, drove in and was 2nd in line. Described the issues to Lonnie. He quickly provided me feedback. I was confident he would provide the technical resource to correct my two issues which they did. Great service. Had to replace brake pads and rotors for both front and rear brakes, and needed a radio software update. Lots to do but Jovany was very helpful with getting me the best deal possible and helping me with the Lyft car to get home. Jovany also kept me updated so the car was ready almost exactly when he said it would be, not a series of sorry, it's not ready yet like I've experienced with some service stations.Service: Auto brake replacement

Absolutely phenomenal team. Had some issues my transmission going out on a 2019 Forester, and had to take it in for repair. Luckily it was covered under the warranty, but the team went above and beyond when taking care of my vehicle. Management was great, Giacamo was extremely diligent with communicating and I enjoyed my ride share service to and from the shop. Bought my car here 4 years ago and have tried again and again to give their service department the benefit of the doubt because it's close to where I live - but don't have your car serviced here. Team seems friendly but actual care is abysmal. Over the 4 years, they've hit my car while in for service and tried to pretend like they didn't hit it - had to deal with the owner of the dealership at the time to have him review service tapes that proved someone in their service department hit it and they had to take my car back to have my rear end fixed. Also, if you service your car elsewhere or have anything aftermarket - they won't actually look at what you've come in for service, just tell you you need to replace the aftermarket goods. Went in this last time for a noise coming on the right front tire while I was coasting and they're diagnosis was that the rear pads and rotors were aftermarket and needed to be replaced. Did nothing for the sound. Brought it back in to give them another chance and found out that all that was needed was the front right pad and rotor needed to be cleaned and the sound has been fine. I've dealt with 4+ service managers and they can't hold on to any service team managers. The latest one, Giacomo, I've given almost a full month to respond to my email to try and justify how they couldn't diagnose a simple dirty pad and rotor, and he hasn't reached out st all. Go to any other Subaru dealer in the Chicagoland area - I've heard you don't get this poor level of service.

The customer service here was exceptional from beginning to end. I mostly was assisted by Sardor and Terry, but everyone else I interacted with was just as pleasant. I had an appointment over a month ago at Berman to have them look at my Impreza s turn signal. The appointment took three hours to diagnose the issue, and they did not fix anything that day. The person who helped me took my warranty information and told me they would check to see what was covered and then get back to me to arrange the needed repair.Over a month later now, and I ve received one email from that person after multiple follow up attempts, and the email only said they would follow up in a couple days. It s now been a week and a half since that email.Still need my turn signal fixed, but it seems like this place doesn t want to help.Edit: 5/14/2021 - still no replies from anyone at BermanEdit: 6/15/2021 - still have not received a call or email back after many attemptsService: Electrical

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE BCUZ MY CAR WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY!!!I dropped off my car earlier today for maintenance service and check the tires especially because the tire pressure (yellow exclamation point) was lit on my dashboard. I had other things done and when they said it was finished, they called me to let me know the car is ready for pick up. When I came to pick up my car, THE YELLOW EXCLAMATION- TIRE PRESSURE ALERT is still on so I asked the tech to check it and he found out THERE IS A NAIL IN MY FRONT TIRE PASSENGER SIDE WHICH MEANS MY CAR WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY!!!Service: Auto maintenance

Service department has a SERIOUS communication issue. When my service rep and I disagreed on when I thought my car was supposed to be done, his tone became defensive and hostile. When they blew out a fuse by leaving my dome lights on for 5 hours, causing both key fobs to stop working, and then offered to pick it up for me the next day, it was apparently my fault they were 90 minutes late because they had been calling the wrong phone number. The service rep s tone changed here too. What s interesting is that my number on file has never changed. He said he called 5 times. It feels like this might have been just a blatant lie to a customer? I would love to be wrong about this. This whole time I also never received an apology. The customer ISNT always right, but I don t feel like I was ever taken seriously at Berman. My time wasn t important to them. So that s why I m leaving this public review. I did call Giacomo, so if you see this, check your voicemail from yesterday. Thanks.

Great place to get parts for your Subaru you can save up to 30 percent ordering online and picking it up from parts when it comes in they call and text you I love the place saved me lots of $$$$$$$$
