I am sure they are probably good but they had none of the parts that I needed for my exercise bike.

The owner was very friendly and solution-focused. He found the cause of clunking sounds in the wheel of my car, and I then opted for an oil change, which he was able to accommodate same day. Everything was reasonably priced and looked at promptly. Communication was also great. Thanks Art!

Been going to Barry's for years. Very reasonable prices and quick turn around. I've never had any issues. Fair prices, fixed issues, at a timey fashion. Even had one repair that didn't need repairing, and it ended up being a much lower charge. I'd give no stars at this point. 2 years ago I went to this establishment to have engine coils repaired on my Cadillac. I never received an itemized bill, like most reputable places give, but I thought nothing of it as my engine light was gone and the car seemed to be running smooth. About six months after it started up again and makes a terrible, rough sound, along with the engine light being on. Same issue again. I had paid a previous mechanic to repair it at a cost of $2,000 and I paid it again to Barry auto. I'm trying to sell my car and need receipts showing work I've had done within the last two years, they don't keep records, the owner said. He also said he remembers doing other work on it and that's why he charged me $2,000. He also claims he used "used" engine coils, which would explain why they failed after 6 months of installing. I would never have agreed to using "used" parts on an engine that misfires. All of the coils are recommended to be new as it's a laborious job. Stay away from this shady place unless you want sub par work, oil stains on your upholstery, and if want to find food wrappers under the hood of your engine. Very unprofessional, sloppy, and dirty.

Great local auto shop. Came recommended to me by an uber driver who sang their praises. Brought in my wife's car recently to get her brakes and rotors replaced. Came in without an appointment and it was fixed within a couple of hours for a fair price. Glad he is only a block away because I will definitely return.

Went there for them to take a look at our old Audi s ACS module, dealer wanted $2,500 to fix it, Arturo plugged in his scanner and saw it wasn t the module but some other small insignificant part. Saved me 2 grand.The most important quality of a mechanic is whether you can trust them.5 stars.

I've been counting on Barry Auto since I started driving again about 5 years ago. I'd tried a couple other mechanics prior to finding him, but my positive experiences with Art won my confidence. He'd been working on my 2000 Honda, and now my 2004 Scion, and will continue for as long as we're around.

I ended up here after another mechanic broke my tcm while working on my transmission. Arturo promptly found replacement valvebody for e60 in 2 days. My transmission didn't work well after that. He gave warranty for one month but it started giving me trouble within 2 weeks .He said it can't be because of the valve body he put in and instead offered replacing my transmission with a used one having 133k miles for 2500$. He said " don't waste time on rebuilding trans ". He charged me 1000$ cash for the valve body so no way I was getting my money back. I ended having my transmission rebuilt for 2800$ at Chicago transcraft. The valvebody that arturo put in was in bad shape. Barry auto repair is not a transmission specialist and if you do you have to get repairs done there do not pay cash.

Went there to have ball joints replaced so I was told by my reg. mechanic who said it would be roughly $600 to replace, anyways all that needed was the ball joints greased at a great price... I will be bringing my car here from now on...
