Sam, the owner, has been repairing and maintaining cars for over 30 years. He s definitely old school when it comes to his thought process behind repairing vehicles. He is honest, does good work, and his prices are fair. I ve been going to him for oil changes and routine maintenance on my two Toyotas, and he hasn t steered me wrong ever. Try this place out! I don t think you ll regret it.

Sam has been my go to guy for all of my cars. I was out of state for a while and the dealership couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. I brought it to Sam this morning, within a few hours he had figured out the problem and fixed it. Love this place!

This where you want to come! Kind, to the point, fair prices. Sam is so kind & won t be selling you things you don t need. If you need an oil change, skip the jiffy lubes and come here. They re always quick & easy to work with. As someone who is leery about places in Chicago, this shop gets me stamp of approval!

Sam is awesome ! He's always been a stand up guy, he's honest and hard working to help us, he's saved us a lot of money by just fixing the problem and nothing more...... unless he's asked to. I've known him for quite awhile and he gets better with age. I'm thankful to know him and his Crue.

I will second the review about Sam being a great mechanic for women. I have been taking my car to him for over 2 years, and he has never tried to cheat me, or talk down to me. He educates you about the procedures he is doing to your car, and always willing to answer questions. His prices are honest and fair! Love him.

If you have car problems, this is where you need to go. I have taken both my own car and my husbands car here for repairs and have been very pleased. Sam knows cars and will cut to the chase with whatever is wrong. He s not out there to make a quick buck- he offers fair pricing compared to other car repair places. I know that by taking my car here, I get quality work for a decent price point. Will definitely continue as a repeat customer.

I have always had a great experience at B & H Auto Repair. They are extremely helpful every single time I've interreacted with them ( which has been on several different occasions). I've called at all times of the day and different times of the week for a wide range of concerns and the mechanic Sam has always pick up and led me in the right direction. He has always been very understanding and accommodating with my busy schedule and that is so greatly appreciated. They work Quickly and efficiently to make sure I am never out of a car for longer then necessary and they communicate really well. Sam is the absolute best !!! He is so kind, informative, fair and understanding. I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of! Which is huge. He /They are always available when ever I need them and I would highly recommend to anyone in need.

Most honest and straightforward mechanic ever. I called ahead on Monday and asked Sam what day I could drop the car off for an oil change - and he gave me a list of available days. He didn't push me for anything else like other mechanics do. I agreed on Thursday because of school & work. On Thursday, I dropped it off and he asked me for my phone number & what I wanted with it. He said he'd call me the next day when it was finished (as they were about to close since it was 4:45).He called me at 10:40 the next day and told me I could come pick it up. I was really satisfied with the service and price of the oil change. I spent no more than 5 minutes at each visit, and we had a good amount of small talk. Love this place, and I'm definitely coming back!Thank you Sam!

Sam (the owner) is always awesome. Quality work, reasonable prices, and no upselling or other typical hassle with car repair. We have taken our vehicles here for many many years. It is so nice to have a shop you can trust for auto repair.

Aha,found a hidden gem.Im a very satisfied with my car being serviced.Brake job,and oil change and completed in 1 day.Actually in a matter of hours.Sam gave me an estimate over the phone in a half hour after I dropped off the car in the morning.When I picked up the car,there were no surprises.The repairs were EXACTLY as I was quoted on the phone by Sam.Thanks Sam!

I've never been to such an honest wholesome car repair shop in my entire life, I was made to feel so comfortable and welcome, the pricing is so fair, the quality is exceptional , I highly recommend everyone to give this business an opportunity to show you what worry free work feels like...

I ordered 2 stabilizer bar links from Rock Auto and found out I couldn't install them myself and decided to try B&H. The experience was a breath of fresh air. I told Sam (owner) what I wanted and could not be more pleased with the result. Took less than an hour showed me the used parts price was exactly what we agreed upon. Definitely coming back.....

Sam is an honest and fair person .. I've been dealing with them for 2 years and would never consider going to another shop ! always fast service and never have had an issue once things were repaired by him .. I've had my girlfriend go to him as well and she's very happy and also said she totally trust her car with them ... 2 thumbs-up

Found my new local mechanic. Trustworthy and will allow you to bring your own parts. It's so rare to find a mechanic you can trust that stands by his work. He has fixed my power steering/harmonic balancer, and outer tire rods. And when I have no idea what parts he's talking about, he takes the time to explain. I recommend him to everyone.

I trust this place for my car. I just had my brake pads replaced and oil changed. Reasonable price!!!

This mechanic has ruined two of our cars. They do not have any knowledge on older cars. Absolutely not worth going to them. Try anywhere else first. Sam also had a very weak handshake, should have known then.

This is one the few places where you can be sure that they won't tell you that your car has thousands of problems just to make you to spend more money. They will tell you what exactly is the problem. In this place the owner is honest and the work is guaranteed. You can be sure that your car is in the right place!

I called and asked if I could stop by for an oil change and the owner said yes. I went right there and the car was done and I was out in about twenty minutes and it was for a good price
