I called while at the dealership and was told i could claim the replacement key online later. i called monday as i couldn't claim online. they said claim was put in. called back. no claim can't do it after service. can/can't submit docs online, spent 3 weeks making phone calls and getting a different story every time. one woman was so rude i couldn't talk to her while she lectured me on how wrong i was. Payment finally got here 5 weeks after starting and it was $100 less than i paid out of pocket. The customer service lied, didn't know or was rude. i bought this product because my daughter's dealership thought it was a good product. I will use my plan but won't buy another in the future. the whole experience totally sucked and the dude who lied to me the first day should lose his job

Work happened as expected, with parts taking a bit of time to get in due to shipping constraints. However, the overall communication was extremely lacking. The major frustration came during the final billing and payment time. There were discrepancies between what I was to pay above the deductible and what the warranty company was to pay. I am grateful for the coverage, but hope others have a better, more clear path of communication.

What an amazing and smooth process with this warranty company. I can truly say they were extremely responsive and I would recommend this company to anyone! At first I was skeptical about an extended warranty but this company has been great! The dealer Largo Honda was also extremely helpful and their team was quick at getting everything done smoothly. 5 stars! Thank you

Purchased bumper to bumper Platinum coverage when I purchased my wife's Range Rover. We have used the warranty multiple times with no issues, but the engine locked up with 700 miles left on the warranty. I provided my service records and without any questions the complete crate engine replacement was approved!! No nickel and diming parts or trying to only pay for certain parts! Definitely worth paying for the Platinum coverage!

Unfortunately, I ve had to use the warranty twice already on a newly purchased vehicle. The very fortunate part is that I initially didn t even want the extended warranty, but I m so grateful that I got it. The process of placing a claim and bringing your vehicle in was super easy. The dealership said my car might sit 2 weeks before even being looked at so I took it to Team Gilman Mazda. I needed a new transmission, some valve fixed and while they were fixing that, they caught my screen throwing a code and it was all sent for a claim request and fixed immediately. The warranty is NEEDED!

Great service! I have used the warranty twice, once for each of my vehicles. The claim was approved quickly and process was easy. Purchasing this warranty for my vehicles was the best decision!

Took a while to get approved, I submitted all the documents and they said they didn t receive it but after almost two weeks someone didn t update my profile.Overall, once my car was ready they had it already paid for and was able to pick up my car immediately.

Claim was put in for 2 separate tickets, and was accepted very quickly. Downside was the vehicle was sold with an underlying issue and still had to pay a $200 deductible inside the 90 day window, because I do not live near a network dealer. Also, because the dealer was 2 hours away, I could not get it done for free, and the dealer claimed they do not work on my vehicle. Warranty said otherwise. Only recommend these warranties if you live near network dealerships or mechanics.

The claim in itself took eight weeks to approve. They asked for oil change and maintenance records. They only covered $350 of my $2k rental car period. Positive eventually paid for most of the repairs.

HORRIBLE SERVICE from both Assurant and car dealership on car warranty. Was assured when purchasing car that we would be covered for anything my car insurance would not cover would be taken care of by Assurant. After five months of messages, emails and phone calls we still owe nearly $3000 on our loan. BUYER BEWARE you are not getting the coverage promised!

I paid for an extended warranty on my car so I expected the $1600+ repair bill to be paid in full. However, your company declined the oil change, even though the oil wouldn't have needed to be changed if the other parts weren't broken. So it just follows that the oil should have been paid for as it was directly related to the repair. Also, since I bought the warranty through AutoNation Jeep dealership and they took 4 days to repair my car, I should have been reimbursed 4 days for my car rental. Instead I was paid only 2 days for the rental. The price of the extended warranty was still more than the repair, it expires in 4 months, so I'm still out money as my repairs didn't exceed the purchase price. That's not your fault, I understand the "insurance" contract, but only once claim in 3 years was not a lot and the expectation is it would be pain in full.Lastly, when the dealership sells you the warranty, they tell you it includes "bumper-to-bumper" coverage and that is not true. A lot of stuff isn't covered but won't get into that now.

I needed some work done on my car. The warranty saved me nearly a thousand dollars and was easy to use. I just gave the autoshop of my choice ( Frank's Auto in Seguin, Tx) their number and the rest was handled between Assurant and Frank's. I paid my deductible and all was great.

I had my car towed from Winnemucca. Nevada to Reno Nevada on January 27th 2024, $900.00 Corwin Ford in Reno diagnosed it as a full engine replacement approximately 2 weeks later. Assurant covered most of the repair. I was out-of-pocket $1300 for the repairs not covered. The repairs on my car were completed on March 22nd 2024, almost 2 months later. I rented a car and drove 750 miles from my home to pick it up March 23rd, on my way back home to the Phoenix area and only 250 miles after picking up my car from Corwin Ford, it started acting up, the check engine light came on and started running really rough. I had very minimal cellphone service in rural Nevada and the closest place to get it looked at was Las Vegas another 250 miles away. I babied my car to Las Vegas and had it tested. The test said one cylinder was misfiring. Nobody could look at my car that afternoon. So I continued my trip back to the Phoenix area, not knowing if my car would make it. This put an extra 4 hour drive that day, which was very stressful. on April 1st I took my car to Peoria Ford to have it diagnosed, on April 4th. They gave me a list of repairs still needed for my car. My extended warranty with assurant does not cover any of the additional repairs. I will be out-of-pocket between 1500 and 1700 dollars for the additional work. I have been without transportation since my car broke down for 2 1/2 months. I fully believe that assurant should cover all the additional repairs. I do not feel the money that was spent on the first go round with Corinne Ford fixed the issue since I only got 250 Miles into my 750 mile trip back home before it started acting up. I wil be out-of-pocket almost $3000 in additional repairs, not to mention car rentals to a problem that still is not fixed.

Assurant extended warranty is one of the best ones to get. The dealer handled the whole thing. All I paid was the deductible and fluids which is standard. I feel the cost of the warranty is fair.

I have had the chance to use Assurant twice. The first experience was five stars. They were able to handle my claim quickly and efficiently. It was for a broken windshield fluid line. I had my car back in two days. The second time was more complicated. This one involved the coolant system, and it took five days for approval. My auto shop had difficulties proving the problem because the crack was at a place where they could not get a good photo. After a few days of going back and forth, the insurance adjuster told the shop to overheat the engine and send photos of the engine smoking. I will leave it to the reader as to whether this was a wise long-term demand for the Assurant adjuster to give. I did call in and had the representative write in my file that my engine was intentionally overheated, just in case there was any damage to the engine or its components.

Happy to get some of my money back on emergency repairs.was told that brakes locking up intermittently while driving at highway speeds was not considered a break down.REALLY EXPLAINS WHY MOBILE RV TECHNICIAN WOULD NOT WORK WITH ROUTE 66 XWARRANTY .Will have to shop around for next one and make sure they are easier to work with!!!!

Would not cover part that was needed to make engine run correctly! I purchased the best warranty they had and they still did not cover the cost of an assembly that needed to be changed in order for the engine to run correctly. Also would not pay the full price of the repair because the hourly was too expensive. I wasted 6500 dollars on this warranty.. all they try and do is get out of paying anything they want.. no peace of mind do not buy assurance warranty! Waste of money, would be cheaper to pay for repairs myself! and less stress!

Getting the warranty through Schools First was the best decision I made. It covered a heavy expense. Greg from Autonation Ford in Valencia, who worked on our vehicle, provided excellent customer service and returned our truck promptly.

Not once, but twice in one week our car had two flat tires! Assurant got someone to us in a timely manner and our towed to the dealership for free. Both tires were replaced, at no cost to us because of Assurant Auto Warranty!! I can t imagine owning a vehicle now without their tire/rim repair/replacement warranty!!

So far my experience with AutoNation Volkswagen has been an absolute nightmare. First they sold me a 2016 Tiguan and the entire suspension system was completely shot. Upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed the drivers side vanity light on the sun visor did not work and the salesman told me to bring it back the next day and that they would replace it under the 90 day warranty. When I returned I was told that it was not covered and had to tell them that their salesman told me it would be fixed. I also noticed the vehicle was very bouncy and squeaky when I went over bumps and upon inspection they said the shocks and struts and sway bar needed to be replaced. I finally got them to agree to replacing the vanity light after getting angry that their salesman told me it would be replaced in the first place. They kept my vehicle for 2 weeks and when I received it back the back hatch no longer opened up. So I had a mechanic inspect it to see if anything else needed to be replaced and they said the oil plug needed a new washer and was leaking oil and the ball joints on each side of the vehicle were bad. Upon taking the vehicle back to AutoNation Volkswagen. I was given the run around and told oh well we ll have to see if the ball joints are covered or not and if the back hatch was covered also they tried to avoid giving me the breakdown of what was covered and I luckily was able to get a printout from one of their financial advisors of what was covered under the 90 day warranty and sent them an email highlighting the parts that needed replacing were indeed covered. Then they wanted me to buy new brakes and rotors in order for them to do the work on the ball joints, back hatch, and oil drain plug washer. I originally agreed and then the next day I sent 3 people emails saying that I did not want them to do the brakes and rotors and that I would just do them myself. Upon picking up the vehicle they tried charging me for the brakes and rotors after I asked them not to change them. So I told them no I m not paying for that because I told 3 different people that I did not want them replaced. Their sales manager Kurtis finally had to step in and ask why nobody read the emails and that it was they re fault and I didn t have to pay for them. Then they wanted to take the new ones off and put the old ones back on and the sales manager told them no. I had the the vehicle inspected again and ended up having a torn CV boot on the driver side axle which luckily I was able to just have replaced by Autonation mobile repair and my experience with them was absolutely wonderful! AutoNation mobile repair is also now going to replace both my control arms on each side of the vehicle and the transmission mount as well.So far my experience with AutoNation Volkswagen s service department was horrible but Autonations mobile repair is wonderful!

Landers Dodge was great, they took care of the repair with the best response they could. The UAW strike was not their fault. Braxton , the service writer, kept in touch with me and when all of the parts arrived, it only took them two days to complete the repairs. I have never been treated with more respect.

They worked really well with my service advisor Omar at BMW Pembroke Pines! They were very helpful and worked well with Omar to get my claim processed in a timely manner. Thank you Omar and Assurant!

I was very disappointed that the warranty contract that we purchased with our Ford Escape did not cover the axle replacement that was required due to a CV boot leak. The problem is with this vehicle the boot and axle are one piece so the boot could not be replaced when it failed. The contract excludes the boot, but it certainly isn't a maintenance item as the rest of the excluded repairs.

Claims take a long time to approve. My service manager provided multiple pictures AND video, but Assurant was not satisfied and required more "proof". I waited 3 days just to have a tire replaced. The only reason I give 2 stars is because I did save money, but lost a lot of time.

This company was incredibly challenging to work with. Despite originally providing me with a contract, they requested that I resend it to them. Throughout my interactions, only one customer service representative provided satisfactory assistance, while the others displayed negative attitudes. Overall, I cannot recommend this company.

I have had to use my Assurant warranty twice so far. Each time has been more than satisfactory and couldn't be more pleased! Glad we purchased our warranty through them.

I've had the car for nearly four years and also the warranty called "The Mechanic". Assurant has been the best car warranty I've had so far although I only have one other one to compare them to. It's significantly better though. The customer service is great. Most of the time, I don't even have to call them as my service advisor typically deals with the warranty directly. One of the things that I really liked initially about the contract details is that they don't have a cap limit or "limit of liability" for how much they'll pay out over the life of the warranty. The limit is simply that any one repair cannot exceed the current price of the vehicle. But you can have cumulative repairs that exceed the current price of the vehicle which is my case unfortunately. This is very important, and I would highly recommend looking at the contract to make sure that this is the case when deciding which warranty to go with.

I actually didn't even work with the warranty place at all. Gandrud did all the work for me. I have nothing but good things to say about Gandrud and getting the warranty done. Everything went smoothly on my end. Justin at Gandrud was awesome.
