The owner told me what wouldn't work for my vehicle due to the fiber optics in the system, he could install a new head back but I wouldn't be satisfied with the outcome. I came back to pick his brain about just a powered sub and he said that would work. The highs are like Michael Jackson kicked in the balls, the lows are like being 10' feet from a speaker at Metallica.Installed today and the system kicks with no trunk thumping, very experienced install, high quality material used and right on time. North of Lawrence Ave they are the best based on reviews and personal experience. Thank you.

Had them install a new bluetooth radio in my Impala, they installed a module so I could keep my factory Amp, I was so happy with how it came out that I had them put the same radio in my Camaro, they told me 2 hours and had it done in half an hour, both times there was no wait,I highly recommend.

I definitely recommend this place I called around for prices and I got the best deal here I am truly satisfied. Very professional & they finish fast. I got a name brand radio & speakers with amp with a base bottom control with warranty.

WARNING*** Do not go here for any kind of installation.WARNING*** Do not go here for any kind of installation.I had a system put in for $2600.00. I began to wonder why I had to buy a cord that went to my phone from the new radio. After I bought it online, the screen changed. No, they didn't provide one. I went back and the brothers said that it was what I bought. Later I drove to Ontario and had problems with my speaker cutting on and off. I found a business that informed me that the wires to the amp were bad. The placement of the amp was also bad. I took it to a business here in Chicago, the owner said he would need to change the amp wires, get a screen that doesn't need a wire to connect to my phone, and fix my two phone jacks that Auto Sound Barrier, Inc said was okay, but they still don't work. The system, I was told, was not set to "run" with the radio starting up either, so the subwoofer pops when the Jeep is turned on. The brothers were combative when I went back two times to ask about these issues. This family business has lost touch with its' clients. Do not go here!!!!The cost to do it right will be $1660.00.WARNING******* DO NOT GO HERE

These guys are awesome. Had the speakers replaced on my Colorado. They did a great job and the price was reasonable. Will be back to have an amp and a subwoofer put in.

These guys are great, I have remote start on my CR-V since July 2022 and it works so well! Then I got my friend to install a new Kenwood touchscreen Bluetooth radio on his car, which is an absolutely amazing upgrade. Fair pricing, very knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with through Google Maps messaging. Highly recommend!

Swapped my factory radio for an aftermarket head unit (Alpine) on my 2015 Ford Fusion. Great job, retained all my factory features, steering wheel, camera, sync...The people here are really reliable. Best prices around and good quality work. Really affordable equipment but they can get you top of the line product. Seems like they're not in it just for the money. I give it a total thumbs up!

Refused to troubleshoot an issue with my aftermarket subs and amp..and stated we don't work on aftermarket equipment, which I find so weird. So why do they call themselves an audio shop? Worse service I ever went to..don't waste your time or bring your car here. What kind of shop is this? It's like taking your car to a mechanic to repair it and the mechanic tells you oh we can't work on it because we didn't make the car or install the parts on it..its also like saying if you would call a service technician to your home to repair your broking down furnace and he replies to you that I don't work on furnaces I didn't install and can't troubleshoot the issue it's having..makes no sense...they only wanna sell u there stuff and install themselves and take ur money, but can't troubleshoot an issue. What a joke ..don't waste your time goin there..

Best work in Chicago hands down.I have been coming to these guys for close to a decade.I have gotten everything done from them from a new 12 inch android tablet installed, single Din radios, speakers, subs, custom boxes, tints, they have made my car extra keys there, and also installed LED lights.Recently a friend of mines bought a Dodge/Jeep, and had a kill switch installed from there, after the high rate of car thefts in Chicago.These guys are the best, and a staple to the community.

These guys hooked me up ONCE AGAIN!!! Just bought a *new to me* Lexus SC430 and needed to retrofit some modern technology!Within 6hrs (!), they installed:updated touchscreen Sony StereoRearview CameraRemote start/alarmExtra key cut and programmed.Had me in and out...cut me deal since I paid in cash and worked with me on overall cost since i got a bunch of stuff done at the same time.These dudes are AWESOME!

I ve taken my Mercedes and my Toyota here and nothing but a clean perfect job was done. I had two 12 inch subwoofers installed in both cars, they still work as they should, wires are cleanly tucked away nothing missing or broken. Highly recommend this shop!

I took my car there this past February to complete an Uber inspection. The service was fast, efficient and thorough. If you go during lunch time there is a hot dog stand right there for a quick bite as well.

Want decent service? Deal with the kids. Avoid the older, disgruntled guy. He gives off old racist vibes. He's very disrespectful and should never be allowed to deal with the public. There will be a day when a customer will return that same energy or more. People who spend their hard earned money with this establishment deserve better, and he's not it.Edit: Lying and projection aren't conducive to good business. I'm not disrespectful or an angry person as you posted. I dont throw things at people, nor do I have misguided anger. Tearing down a person's character to build yours is a flaw easily detected. Do better by not lying in public. Don't mistreat your customers and keep ignorance in the back so we don't have to deal with it.

Best electric guys in town! I ve dropped off to them hellcats and Srts they always did perfect work and everything put back together! Senan knows what he doing and installed my system within 2 hours! Old guy in there is pretty cool he shows all sort of options and helps save some money!!!

These guys are top notch, highly recommend. They figured out an issue with my car that another solid mechanic couldn t figure out, and I just drove right up without any appointment and they looked at it on the spot and fixed my issue. Extremely fair pricing as well, these guys are straight shooters, very honest and a pleasure to deal with.

He so bad input system,in seat back and trunk my vehicle! 2 years ,every where in another store i went , they ask and question me who put system in your car,?So bad he install all cable !!!Over 2000 $ i paid .!But this is terrible.Dont try at this store !First please going to another place and ask i want see your work,!Second choose plan.!Thanks for the all

The guys were Great. The price was reasonable, they were professional when I discussed options and the new radio was installed in an hour .... looks and sounds fantastic.I will recommend their service to all my friends.The two Attilas ROCK ... both senior and junior!

Prices are too high. Soundz Good Chicago, nearby on Western, gave me a quote 20 percent lower than Auto Sound Barrier. Also, Best Buy in Skokie, the Geek Squad, gave a lower price for the same radio and services. I did not compare online prices.

I had my subwoofers installed from another dealer a few weeks ago and they stopped working. Since I was out of town, I decided to stop in to Auto Sound Barrier and they were able to fix the problem and diagnose it within minutes. The owner and staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and I am going to have them install my remote starter for my other car as well as check the subwoofers and stereo when I get a chance. I couldn't be happier with such great service and a group of guys! Thank you so much to Auto Sound Barrier!
