What a great experience. Not only are they incredibly kind and welcoming, but they're also great when it comes to solving whatever issue you may be having. We went in with a car issue we haven't been able to solve despite having taken it into our dealership 4 previous times and they were able to figure it out in a matter of a few days and gave us the right reccommendations for how to tackle it. This will be my go to shop from now on and I will definitely continue to reccommend it to others. It's rare to find a spot that you can tell truly does care about their customers and here they really do.

If you are looking for a reliable and honest mechanic that will do auto repairs for less then you ve come to the right spot. The team here does a fantastic job of telling you what s wrong with your car your options to repair it and will even show you on the car before they do the repairs and explain to you. Excellent communication and quick and easy access to schedule appointments. I ve been a customer of theirs for almost 10 years at the previous location will continue to make the drive to the new location because of their excellence. Without a doubt the best car repair shop in Chicago!

Finding a reliable and affordable mechanic can be tough, but look no further. These people are always friendly, honest, and never try to up-sell me. They always do great work, but it's less expensive than other garages.

Mary and Dan are gems in this city full of auto repair places. Not only are they friendly, they service customers with great work. I used to take my car to their old shop on Irving and followed them to their new space on Kedzie because I don t trust anyone else with my car. They take the time to explain the necessary fixes, charge a very fair price, and always check up post repair to make sure all is well. I have never had a shop breakdown the charges or services the way they do. It s one of the first shops I ve ever been to that respect women without rushing them through the process. Keep up the amazing work - Chicago needs more humans and shops like yours!*their turnaround is insane! I dropped my car off Monday afternoon and was able to pick it up Wednesday by 9am! Quickest, most honest work in the city by far. Appreciate you guys!

I've been a customer for years. Most recent visit: I bought a hitch mount (for attaching a new SUV bike rack) and asked them to install it, plus an oil change. They did an excellent job as always. Dan and his crew noticed that 2 of my tires were in worse condition than the other 2. They considered my budget and suggested options to ensure the safety of my family. Honest, down-to-earth, great people who aren't trying to rip people off. And they treat my young son like a person--kindly, respectfully. The BEST repair shop in Chicago, HANDS DOWN. (I also appreciate them having space for my son and I to wait, where we can draw, eat our snacks, play our mini magnetic chess set.)Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Oil change

This is my go to neighborhood auto repair shop! I first went to their old location, and liked their friendly service. Months later I needed another repair for something else, and found out they moved to a new location. Based on how they took care of me on my first repair, I followed them to their new location. I m happy I did!They ve always taken good care of me. I ve never had to wait a long time to see what s going on or get my car back. I trust their assessments and don t feel like I m being scammed; pointing out things that they wouldn t suggest paying for, etc They even check in on how things are going post repair.Special shout out to Mari, Dan, and Flavio for always being a taking such good care of me and breaking down what s going on with my car! I highly recommend Auto Repairs 4 Less--this is the best auto mechanic I have used while living in Chicago over the past 15+ years! I have tried gone to a few mechanics throughout the northside while owning 4 different, very-used, older cars. These guys really do provide reasonably priced car service and I have also been very impressed with their level of work and and customer support.I have taken two different cars here for service over the past 5 years, first at their Lakeview location and then when they moved west to Kedzie. I have had everything from oil changes and tire rotations to catalytic converter replacement, brake jobs, AC system repair, and a last minute emergency tire replacement. The repairs have always been fairly priced, no obvious sales pitches or mark ups, and with very good customer service and workmanship. My son used this company for his vehicle and recommended them to me. I have used them for years, and found them to be very professional, customer focused and honest. I travel over 25 miles to get my vehicle serviced by them because I trust them and their prices for services are great. The mechanics are nice and the staff amazing. I have been going to Auto Repair 4 Less for the last 4 years and have followed them everywhere they go!I moved away from their original location in Lakeview and still made sure to make my way there. I was worried that I'd have to find another shop when they moved to their new location, but I still make the trip because they are the best shop in Chicago! Their new location has a ton of great places around to relax and wait for them to complete their speedy service.They are also honestly just great people and are great to talk to! I have been going to this shop for many years for all of our cars maintenance. I have not had any bad experiences. They are fair with their work and pricing and will inform you about something that needs attention other than what you are there for. It's very hard to find a shop that you can trust to take your cars to.The communication between the shop and car owner is great. I would recommend Auto Repair for Less for all your car repair needs. I have been going here for years! They do great work and are always up front with what needs to be fixed. They tell you everything before you pay or getting anything repaired. Dan and his crew are thorough and the repairs are always under warranty. They ve recently moved locations but I still take my vehicle to their new location because I trust them! This place is WONDERFUL! I trust this business with all of my car needs. They are fair, honest and do great work. They check in with us regularly to remind us of basic upkeep. I brought in my vehicle to repair a big, deep scratch on two panels. They gave us a fair estimate and completed the bodywork in the time stated. The car looked excellent! OMG!!!! I cannot say enough about Dan and Mary!!! Auto Repairs 4 Less is the BEST. They are honest, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I am so happy to have a mechanic that I can trust and count on for ANYTHING. I have been going to Dan for ten years. My car continues to run GREAT!!! Seriously, the BEST. I was in a bind. My brakes had locked up and it was difficult to drive. I managed to get my car to Auto Repairs 4 less and Mary was nice enough to wait for me to drop off my car, even though it was a little past closing. That was big help. My brakes were fixed up and my car drives like new again. Thank you! It means alot when you take care of my car like your own. I appreciate it that you look out for my ride! Many thanks to the crew at Auto Repairs 4 Less for doing great work on my car, and being awesome people to communicate with. I've brought my car to them since their previous location and glad to continue to work with them. My last visit was a couple of weeks ago because my car's catalytic converter was stolen. Auto Repairs 4 Less were very helpful with the sudden request, taking in my car, being affordable and getting it repaired in a timely manner. Thanks again to the team at Auto Repairs 4 Less!

Dan and Mary and the rest of the crew are incredible! They always manage to squeeze me in whenever I need. I had been told by other mechanics that certain work needs to get done ASAP, but the crew at AutoRepair4Less gives me the truth (What is necessary and what can wait).I've had a few visitors in town with emergencies and they were able to get them right in and taken care of within 24 hours.Super bummed they moved locations, but I will make the trek to their new location, no questions. Decent car repair and services, they will get your car in quick. The prices are alright, but nothing too low - in fact they re just slightly lower than dealer prices. Regardless the work will be done as you desire, and I can admit to always having a quality and timely turnaround here. You will always get your car in and out. Make sure to inform them you need your car early or else the other cars will come before you. Dan is a kind and helpful guy

I have been taking my car here for the last few years and am always impressed by their affordability and quality of work. This week, I had my catalytic converter stolen and they had it ordered and replaced within 2 days, they also helped me with four other repairs at the same time and Dan was very transparent and communicative about expectations, options, and price. Fantastic quality work and services for a very reasonable price. I took my car in a couple days ago to check out a flat tire, oil change, and some help with my license plate screws which were all messed up. From start to finish, everyone was so helpful! They took care of me promptly and had great prices! I'm so glad I found this shop. I feel way more confident as a car owner knowing that I've got this shop in my neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Auto Repair For Less Is the best. One day in 2019, my car started to over heat as I was driving down LSD. It was a Saturday at 4:00, I thought to myself who would be open. I got on google and searched immediately. Auto Repair less was the closes place to my location. I gave them a call explain my situation. Dan (who I did not know at the time was the owner) said come over right now. The fact they were closing in 2hrs and still took my car and order me a new radiator. They have been my go to ever since. Most places you need a appointment for big repairs. But Auto Repair For Less will work with you and get the job done at the best convenience. I highly recommend them! I have been here about 5 times over the last few years. The last time I went they took forever and were way behind. This time, I made an appointment 2 days ago to get an oil change. My light on the dash is on, and it was due. I have a 4 hour drive tonight so I figured it would be perfect to get it done today. They made an appointment for me, two days ago, for today at 2pm. I get a call at 1:20pm saying they overbooked and can t take me. Now I can t go on my trip today because my car won t be able to make it. They also overcharge. Safe to say I won t be returning.Service: Oil change
