We took all of our cars here. It was sad when Julio (former owner) sold it. He was a great guy and honest. We dealt with the new owners and they seem nice. The front desk tech Jocelyn Maltos was very friendly and Julio Maltos the owner took care of my vehicle. Not only did they answer all of my questions, they were also very honest and informative. Julio, the owner, definitely took his time to do fantastic work on a hard job. The rest of the staff also seemed dedicated to the work they were doing. Will definitely be returning!

Best damn customer service I've ever experienced. Jocelyn is very helpful and polite. I always recommend Julio he really knows what he's doing and even will show you what exactly is wrong with the car. I know I can always leave my car in their hands.

I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have found Maltos. I live up the street on Kimball and I came to Maltos on a whim when I first moved to Chicago last year to ask them about installing a mount for my front license plate. They took care of it immediately and charged me half the price they originally quoted. Upon the recommendation of another customer who was there at the time, I decided to continue coming back.I have two ~15 year old cars and I've gone to Maltos a number of times now for routine and repair services. They are always fair, accommodating, straightforward, and most importantly honest. When my Camry started giving us trouble we decided to take it in for a full checkup and address some existing issues (inside door handle was broken, back window was broken). They told me everything that was wrong with the car, told me which things were imperative, which things were cosmetic, and which things I could hold off on if I wanted. No pressure, no games. I trust these guys implicitly and that's an infinitely valuable quality for a mechanic.I couldn't give a business a stronger recommendation than I feel Maltos deserves.

I made an appointment on short notice for the following morning to replace a ac compressor and I spoke with Julio the owner and he gave me a quote with a lifetime warranty on parts which I found to be the best offer I've seen around price and quality. Repair was completed within a couple of hours and my ac blows cold air again

Great service at a very affordable price. I've been using them for 2 years and I've never felt like they've tried to sell me on anything. When my car got sideswiped they fixed it for about $800 less than my insurance company said the damage would be - that was awesome.

These are the best mechanics by far in the city of Chicago. I have never had such honest experiences with auto mechanics. They do all of the auto work for me and my wife's car. They are great, I will never go anywhere else.

Legit place! If you want a detailed mechanic you have it at this place! Julio takes pride at what he does.I pride myself on customer service... joslyn is great at what she does and provides excellent service! I highly recommend maltos auto!
