Very honest shop with great customer service and good body & auto work. I got in a accident rear ending another car in front of me and quickly looked for a shop that did both body and auto work on a car and stumbled upon Al Medina as it was close to my residence and had pretty positive reviews. They did an excellent job repairing my car and even fixed my horn for free which the claims adjuster missed in his evaluation. I went back again to fix a rattling issue, a cabin air filter, and a check engine issue and Mohammed, the owner, was very honest in his evaluation of the check engine light in that it said it was the catalytic converter but it could be resolved by running premium gas a couple cycles through the tank. He also fixed the rattling in my car for free and I ended up only paying for my cabin air filter. Their honesty and good pricing has earned a returning customer for me.

This team was fantastic to work with. They fixed everything that I brought my car in for, found another issue that they fixed at part cost, and even fixed my mirror at no charge! I would greatly recommend bringing your car in to Al Medina's for all of your car needs, I will certainly be coming back. The prices are reasonable and everyone is very nice to work with. Thank you!

Wow. This place is amazing. First time I met an honest mechanic. I got recently got body work done and my wiper motor fixed here, in 4hrs, so I told them to do an oil change too. Great prices and quality service. Will be recommending to all my friends and family. Ask for Nadeem. He's the man!!

Busy shop always bussling! Wait times are great during certain hours. Cheap prices! The dealership quoted me 200% more. Al medina really wanted to look at it before giving me a quote and gave me a few options to pick from. They dont try to push extras on you like most places.

True lifesavers! I was leaking power steering fluid because of a botched job at a "big box" auto garage. Medina & company found the problem right away, fixing it easily. Another time, they bailed me out on an emissions test quite quickly. Only place I'll be taking my car from now on!

I could have given them full stars but they took around 4 hours on my car to change a component, the problem was solved at that time, and the rate was reasonable but a related problem of battery arose after 2 days again.Also, they start fixing without giving the rate in the start.

This is the best place to repair your car in the area. I have been taking my car to Al Medina for about 3 yrs now. The quality of the work they provide top notch. As a woman, I never feel like I am being taken advantage of/ or them trying to oversell me on having other services done. I have a Lexus that is out of warranty and whatever Lexus tells me I need, I ALWAYS bring it to AL Medina for a much better, fair price. They get the work done and you have your car back in a snap. This place has been my go-to for everything car related for the last year. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, they have always been able to see me on short notice, and my car has been well taken care of in their hands. Also, for someone who knows very little about cars, they have never made me feel stupid (even when my check engine light was on because my gasket was loose...). I would highly recommend their services to anyone!!

Absolutely best place to go get your car fixed. The owners are great really took care of my cars and fix it with integrity and with the best parts to ensure your aren t making constant trips to the shop. They literally are the only ones that I recommend for repairs and only send my cars here no matter what.Got my Cadillac in a wreck and they repaired it like nothing happened and it doesn t even look or feel like it was ever in a wreck. Absolutely best shop in chicago.

My name is Damian and I went there this morning with my suv and Muhammad helped me put repair my bottom door panel within 3mins. I was in and out. The best thing about that experience is all the employees were smiling and greeting me before I could park my car. Great customer service and very friendly. I recommend them to anyone! I am new to Chicago but I think I could my home auto shop!

Super friendly. Had to park under the train tracks at work and had a bunch of tar/sap drip onto my car. Spent a few hours trying to get it off and ended up going here looking for advice or maybe a quote if needed. Owner walked out right to my car on the street and just wiped it off no hassle. I called Al to get a quote on an alternator replacement that another shop quoted me at $1100. His quote was less than half that cost and my AAA service recommended his shop to me. I didn t feel scammed as I usually do as a woman with a car, plus he had my car ready the next day. Highly recommend!

Living in Chicago for about 12 years now and this is the best place for all my car issues. I ve been going here for about 5 years now and I ve never been disappointed. Always so helpful. They are reliable, fast, good customer service, they are not exploitative like other places, they are very trustworthy. I always leave better than I came in.

I have been going to Al Medina for about 20 years starting with a Camry then a Nissan then a Ford 500 & now a Lexus LS 460. Regardless of the car this place has consistently given me relatively low prices (sometimes astoundingly low) with high quality body work and a really fast turn around time. Most of my visits have been out of pocket, not through insurance, so affordability has been really important. I always recommend this place to anyone wanting auto body work. Finally, Nadeem has a great energy & helpful personality.Service: Body & Trim

The moment I drove into the garage, the owner was already there asking me what I needed Done today. The mechanic who worked on my car was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about every working part in the car. I had multiple questions and he took his time and explained everything to me in layman terms. I didn t have to wait in line. LADIES! Don t look any further for a place to take your car in. I know nothing about cars and they were able to explain everything and not take advantage of me. They re affordable , super quick and very friendly and I never felt uncomfortable.They walk you through everything, and are so helpful. I had to get my car fixed the day before a road trip and they did it all in the afternoon attached picture of my apparently very rusted rotors that desperately needed to be replaced.I ll be telling everyone to go here, just call to see when they re available and they ll take care of the rest!
