Terrible service at this location. I live in the area & came here 2 times. The 1st time I just brought oil I didn t need help with that. But the 2nd time I needed to buy auto parts & when I asked if they have the parts I needed, They told me they can t look on the computer. When I asked why not? The employees continued to say we just can t go on the computer which left me confused because I thought that s what they do. So without going back & forth I just left because the customer service is no good. It seems to me that they pick & choose on who they serve because I didn t get any help at all. Maybe they have their preference on whom they want to serve. They were rude & inconsiderate

I called to ask if they offer battery installation when we buy the batteries at that location. The person I spoke to said they do offer that service, but because of the cold (it s January) they only do battery installation from 9am - 12pm and then they don t go outside. I asked if I could make an appointment and he said we don t need one, we just need to show up before 12 pm. Ok, great!The next morning my husband and I bring our cars that both needed batteries to this location and were told that they don t install batteries when it s cold at all.The cashier let us use a cart to wheel the batteries out to our cars since they re so heavy and we took them somewhere else to be installed.Then my husband goes to return the dead batteries to get the $22 deposit fee back. He went inside to get a cart to bring the batteries inside and this same associate tells him there aren t carts for customers to use.I was very frustrated with the dishonesty and attitude of the associates at this store.

I purchased a low beam bulb to replace the burnt one on my 2013 Nissan Rogue. I went to the counter to make sure I was purchasing the right bulb. When I got home to replace it, I open the package only to realize I was given the wrong one. I drove back to the store to return it and experienced the worst customer service i have ever received. I enter the store and was not greeted even though the employee saw me come in. I waited about 5 minutes until I went to get her to assist me. The person name is Naty and she was obviously not happy to be there. She said I couldn t return it since it was opened. I let her know no one had informed me that and that I was given the wrong item. She called the sales person and berated him for not telling me the policy and kept on telling him he should know better. I felt bad for the sales person and was embarrassed for him. She then went on to tell me that I was out of luck and that she wouldn t processed my return because it was opened. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to come back some other day because there was no manager on-site on the weekends. She was rude and seemed annoyed and completely unhelpful. I will never come back to this store again. The correct light was over $100 which i purchased at an Auto Zone once I left this store. I would have gladly spent that money at this store had I been given the chance to return the wrong item that was sold to me. Obviously, Naty needs to receive a class on customer service and how to deal with employees without embarrassing them in front of the customer. People like Naty should not be dealing with customers.

I walked in knowing I needed a new drivers side wiper. The gentleman directed and informed me of what I needed then asked if I would like help replacing the ballade. He was so nice to leave his warm work space and venture out into the snow just to replace it for free. What amazing customer service

Local auto parts store with Channel 7 News outside of it because of the potholes on the streets maybe. LolBack to the auto parts store. Helpful staff and 50/50 they might have the parts you need on newer vehicles. Sad but true

I stopped in to get a new windshield wiper and Rob and Jocelyn were very helpful. Jocelyn helped me find the type I needed and both of them helped me with install and showed me some tips so that I could learn. I typically avoid car things but they made it super easy!

I ordered online for pickup so I knew they had exactly what I needed. I appreciate that they didn t assume I needed help installing my wipers and didn t offer, but when I was struggling in the rain Rob came out to help. I ll be back.

Freddy sosa gave the beat customer service. Very friendly. Very helpful. Was flexible w/ changing my battery and if anything went wrong he manage to fix the problem. Gave us the best deals and offered us what was the best option for us in changing our battery.

Our car had died and we needed a battery ASAP. I called the advance auto parts store on Montrose and Roberto checked inventory and assured me that they could help me. He handled my old corroded battery, the sale, and the installation of the new battery fantastically. While thing took about 30 minutes. Thanks Roberto!

I liked how this placed carried a fuse I wanted that I couldn't find in other stores, they have plenty of parking. It was easy and fast to find the part and the checkout was quick as well. I did not need the assistance and I was not offered either way. Will come back to this place.

The severe Chicago winter weather got the best of my wiper blades. Not sure how to change them I went to Advance Auto Parts. The guy that helped me was super nice He helped me pick out the right blades and also installed them for me. I'll definitely be back when I need something .

Worst advance auto ever. Very rude employees, never pick up the phone and when they do, they hang up after putting you in hold for over 10 mins. It s really hard for someone to get me this frustrated, but this location never seems to miss a chance to provide exceptionally horrible customer service. I love advance auto but this location sucks.

Ordered a part, came to pick it up the day after it was suppose to be at the store. I spent almost 45 minutes waiting for them to walk around like chickens with chopped heads, looking for the part in the same apot they just looked at 5 minutes ago. I finally asked for the supervisor who was very rude, didnt apologize just basically said i should if came yesterday ( the day it was delivered )All while being on his phone and no eye contact. I finally asked for my refund and left the store with out my part that no one had a clue where it was at. Very disorganized unprofessional and rude

Kind of slow service, if you can, get auto parts online (with warranty) for at least half price.That includes the other bog box auto shops, their production lines aren't super great, slow and always under staffed.Please god: At least get a receptionist or a bot that filters clowns...Something.Only thing is some parts you need to get from box auto stores, such as brake parts, etx. (parts you can easily replace and exchange, it's a good idea trust me kiddos!,

Very helpful staff. Come to the store to pick up my online order but they run out one of ordered parts. And I thought it would be headache to deal with cancelation and order and reorder my parts again to another store. Instead of cancel my order manager fixed the problem by letting me to go to closest store and pick up missing parts there. Thanks, I appreciate that. Customer Service on top.

As I walked into advanced auto parts I was frustrated already but your employee Freddie Sosa helped us find the battery for our car and installed it with great customer service and when that battery turned out to be no good he then turned back around and replaced it with a new working one fast easy and all with a smile on his face we are so thankful for Sosa and all his help

The manager tonight did an amazing job coming out into the cold and changing my battery for me. His customer service was above and beyond. I usually go to Autozone because it is right next to my house, but I ll be making more trips to this Advance location.

Over the years I had to do a lot of purchases and returns here. Someone's there are two different sized parts I need to fix my vehicle and the only way to get the right one was to buy both and return the one that didn't fit. It was always easy to return the parts I didn't need.
