I couldn't help but to write this review from what I observed while shopping at this location. Assisting store manager Vivian was being rude and aggressive towards a customer for no reason at all while showing her frustration by slamming her hands on the counter frighting other customers with her behavior. While store manager Damien smirking through while watching Vivian showing her aggressive rude behavior to a customer.Since I noticed Damien took over this location as a store manager. store customer service went down the drain and today was a perfect example.

I just stopped in at this AdvanceAuto Parts store to get a replacement headlight bulb. The store was clean, it had good upbeat music playing and Lorenzo helped me find what I needed quickly and was very friendly.He was knowledgeable about the options and helped me select the best option for my needs. Then once I paid for the bulbs, he offered to install them for me. Which again he did quickly and easily. Thank you!

It s rarely to see a good compliment on a good customer service on the review. This was my first time on this location, I stepped in and the lady Vivian greeted me with a very polite, a warm smile and asked me how she could help me. I told her windshields wipers for both side, she asked me a few questions, walked me to go get them and asked me do i know to change them. Not quite, not me when it comes to auto parts that was my answer. It was hot, hazy and humid without any hesitation she stepped out with me to the parking lot and changed them for me. Vivian with her warm customer service impressed and made me happy. Good people still exist during this time. Thank you so much Vivian, thank you.

today 06.26.23 in between 1015-1100 hrs, visited your shop for some wanted information in rainy bad weather, and the lady was on duty very rude, discouraged, after discussion with her, she asked me to wait, after 10 minutes she again approached, after talking on cell, she very loudly asked to go outside and come after 1 hrs. here is your substandard service towards customers. must be polite, very shameful.kindly improve your service.

Sad customer service! Stopped by to pick up an Amazon order since this is also a pick up point for amazon and was treated very rudely, the lady with a grey hair was irritated with everything i said and kept looking at me with disrespect even though i had all information pulled up and whole thing took her 30 seconds plus they had no customers in store. A guy who had to work with her was nice and at least greeted me. I worked all day in retail too and i had decency to be nice to everyone so I hope she can change the way she communicates too!

Went looking for products to take care of some paint scratches on my car. Brandon helped me with great advice and tips to maintain my paint job. He took his time and helped me out with great banter and humor unlike other automotive parts stores who will sell you anything and have no knowledge of the product they are selling. Amazing above and beyond service. My car battery was beyond even jumping so I walked over to buy a new battery, they not only lent me a cart to take it home but also saved me a good $100 by lending me a tool I needed. All with smiles and helpfulness could not be happier!

I had to pick a package up in here. I guess UPS has a pickup locker here and the guy that was in the store found my package for me. I think I was in and out of there and like about 2 or 3 minutes. I showed him the slip for the pickup and he gave me my package

EVERY ONE! First time at the advanced auto and the professionalism that I received from Giuseppe, Damien and Samantha was so greatly appreciated Giuseppe and Samantha both checked my battery and it was a loose wire and they advised me what the issue was and I was on my way ..great job Advanced auto ..thanks for the Help !

Update: On coming home the "new" battery registered less than 80% charge on battery tender. 12 hours later 8/27/21 AM it STILL registered solid red. IMHO a new battery should not be that low.Old stock? IDK.Convenient location. Large parking lot. Easy access handicapped space in front of store. No WC automatic door access. Adequate cooling with outdoor temp 91 degrees. Masks required for all - no employees wore them. Prices high. One gas treatment less than Walmart but 3x higher than Amazon.I needed a new battery. Asked for the one I looked up. I was redirected to one that fit better & had higher cold cranking amps. Friendly free installation took a little while to happen but was quick.I also wanted wipers. No in store resource to look up. I was directed to one pair that was $48. Sadly not unheard of for a beam wiper set. Described as Premium but brand website did not even list it in their top three. Again fast free installation.Oddly their store receipt invoice lists a Zaid Auto Repair 2408 Dempster Evanston - which does not exist. Their phone number is a mobile in MN. I don't understand what has to do with this store. Why is it pre-printed on the invoice?Adequate selection of accessories. Store was clean. Trickle of customers when I was there. Limited waiting.Look up exactly what you need before you choose to come here. Do your homework.

Wow the guys here are amazing, best customer service. I bought some wipers online they didn't fit my car even though the website said it fit. The gentlemen here swapped with other wipers that fit. Def recommend coming to this Advance auto over others! Super helpful

Ivan at the Peterson Avenue location in Chicago was absolutely awesome and took care of me in less than 5 minutes exchanging a battery under warranty and I'm from out of state. he gave me excellent care!

Dude working there was super cool. Needed to use some tie tod tools and he let me use them free of charge among other things. To say the least they go above and beyond to satisfy customers. Highly recommend

Stand alone store in the middle of nowhere. Has it's own parking lot.Different people behind the counter every time I go there. LOTS of car stuff and the people who work there know where it all is.Lots of odds and ends also. Key chains air fresheners decals toy cars. Fun store.

High prices should be offset by online coupons but a crummy website makes it a pain in the neck navigate. Just a simple pair of headlamp purchase took forever. Made the same purchase last year and the counter man was good enough to discount by 25%. This year told to go online. After answering a dozen questions they asked for phone number and e mail. $50 seems high for 2 headlights. Moved on to purchase at a competitor on Touhy for $46. Need to train the staff on customer service. No wonder I was the only one in the store while there were more than 10 customers in my place of purchase.

By far the worst place to purchase any parts from. Jeremy and his team are very rude, and that is very unacceptable for a business. I've been put on hold for hours on purpose at a time, had them end the phone in my face, made unacceptable remarks before hanging up on me, etc. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! If I could leave 0 stars I seriously would consider it. I will be in contact with someone from corporate shortly to get this resolved.

Be carefull with their return policy they told me i cant return the relay even its defective because i already installed it. Tried to explained to them there is no way i can test the relay without installing it to my car but this lady name vivian is very mean and arrogant is refusing to accept my return. And also told me i should return it right away not after 3 days. For a 30 dollars relay they are giving me a hard time im a dyi person im not a professional mechanic i dont have all the fancy tools to check the relay first without installing it. Stay away and watch out beware.

The store was neat and clean, and they had the parts I needed. (Starter) the handsome manager, Freddie, made sure I had ever I needed to do the job and even went over the steps with me before he rang me up. Thanks advanced.

The service was very lousy, they don t know how to work properly and has zero knowledge on vehicles .They made me to spend $180 unnecessarily for the battery. Fake promotions and highly not recommended.

Why 4 stars and not 5 because they did not do everything perfect and then some as another Advance Auto. But super knowledgeable and helpful staff. They help you and take care of you first. Good people.

This store comes in handy when you leave your dome light on overnight and have a dead battery in the morning. Competitive prices, great selection, and good customer service.
