Metal Masters / Carstar has been great through my whole rebuild. Almost $5000 worth. They did everything they said they would do and then some. Glad I took my van there.

Metal Master Carstar was great! I would definitely recommend coming to them for any car body work, car painting, etc. I had damaged to the front of my car from an accident. They made my car look new. Due to a rear end collision the damage to my car resulted in a one inch gap around the trunk. Any rain or snow would cause additional damage to the car. It was important that I could bring my car in for repair immediately. Every body shop I contacted, including Metal Masters, told me that it was going to be at least 3 to 4 weeks before I could bring my car in for repair. When I explained the situation to Metal Masters they rearranged their schedule to accommodate me. Their work was outstanding. The car looks like new and it included a lifetime warranty on their work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My Gmc Acadia was in a car accident and the front was damaged. Metal Masters CARSTAR worked with my insurance and took my truck and fixed the front and had it looking good as new. They gave me excellent service and kept me updated on the status of the vehicle. I highly recommend them and you will be happy you went with them. We were without a vehicle for two months that s not necessarily what the problem is it s how you had to talk to my mother every time she called to check on it. She was afraid to even call and ask questions she s 75 years old and that is no way to treat a senior I tried not to have this post, but you keep sending me text messages. Please leave our family alone you got your money.

I had needed some work done, went to 2 other repair shops, their quotes were over $600 and $700. Then talked to Bill, his quote was so much closer to reasonable plus he he was honest. He told me the damaged area on the bumper is plastic and it will not rust. The honestly sealed the deal, went back again, I didn't bother going to anyone else for this last repair job. I absolutely love these guys! I only bring my cars to them if ever I have an issue. I ve brought multiple vehicles here over the years and so have my friends and family. They always do phenomenal work. They are fairly priced; and trustworthy - which is hard to find these days!! I wouldn t trust my car anywhere else! Love Metal Masters. Thanks for taking care of my Buick, Honda, Chevy and now Jeep! Also, they will help work with insurance if needed! 5 stars for sure.

They did a good job the second time around and I need to apologize because I thought that they were driving my car but we worked it out in regards to the mileage there was a few months in between when I was able to get the car in for repairs so my apologies to metal Masters for my previous review

I took my car here to get the front end of my vehicle fixed after an accidenr. They left it like brand new! I took an uber there only to realize that I had forgotten my credit card. The woman at the front desk offered to give me a ride home and still wait for me while I looked around my house for my lost credit card!!! They made a tough sticky situation and came to the rescue. We started talking and needless to say she was a great therapist too lol!!! They went above and beyond and i am sooo grateful for their help. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Metal masters is an establishment that takes the time to show you how great of a job they will provide. It can be from appraisals, to repairing, customizing car paint, And vehicle restoration. They do great work. It can be busy, but take a deep breath and wait. It s worth the wait.

Bill, the owner, manages a real good team that accomplished what they said, pricing was very fair for upper tier quality of workmanship, and during the repair, was well informed my vehicle progress as well as the insurance involvement. Need more quality small businesses like Metal Masters in Chicago Ridge.

I took my suv there to get a door repaired/replaced (rear passenger) due to rust, I provided them with the replacement door shell so they could do a swap and take the old door off and replace it with the new one. I finally get my vehicle back from them and the door looks good, I pay them the money and I take my vehicle. A few days later I go to pick up some friends and they try to get in but the door won t open no matter what we try, so I call the shop the next day and tell them the door they replaced won t open, they tell me they were aware of the problem and there s nothing they can do about it and suggest I go somewhere else to get it fixed. Mind you when I brought them the vehicle the door opened and closed just fine no problem, but now the door all of a sudden doesn t work, the sad part is that they didn t even tell me about it not opening and closing when I picked it up. When I went to pick up my vehicle I just looked at the outside work, I didn t think to check and see if the door actually opened and closed properly because that s something so simple you would automatically assume it would perform that basic function. I ve went to them in the past and they seem like good nice people but the way they handled this situation is very disappointing.

They gave me a fair price on damage that i thought would be a lot more, they had a great open line of communication and their job on my truck was essentially perfect! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for body shops

Amazing service..I went for an oil change only.. I had a my bumper loose and they fixed it.. didn't tell me and didn't charge me...I didn't realize it until after when I got home that it was fixed..
