Zack was fantastic, he solved a problem with my Chevy Impala that no one else could solve. He s a guy who actually looks into the issue and does a legit investigation to figure out what it is. Zack did what no one else could, he s the best of the best!

Excellent work. Satisfied customer. New blower motor and blower motor resistor switch in my Dodge Dakota. The wait was long but it was worth it. Instant defrost, and heat makes me smile. I'm happy with the work they did and pure professionals. I will go there again for future automotive electrical work.

0 customer service. 0 business ethics morality. They broke a lugnut on my tire when they were changing my tires and then they made me go some where else to get it fix! Literally asked me to go to mechanic when they are the one who broke it !!!

Zack is the best you'll find. Zack has been servicing my vehicle for over a decade and does excellent work. Since then my entire family & friends has been going to him. Zack, has an amazing staff that works there that I see first hand that has become just as great as he is. Although all the time Zack, may not be the one working on your vehicle entirely I will say he does take pride in making sure before your vehicle leaves the shop he does a thorough inspection and making sure that everything was done properly and gives it the green light which makes as a customer feel more confident the work was done to perfection. Zack, is one of those one mechanics that he won't tell you that something is broken and it's not just to get money. He will 9 times out of 10 find the exact issue, give you options on what he can do to fix the problem and save you a bunch of headaches in money overall. He's a very efficient and have great time management. He's not one of the mechanics that will take your car and have you waiting days to fix it. If it hasn't been made clear already I'll say I highly recommend them to anyone that's looking to have any vehicle repairs done without the BS give them a shot & thank me later!-Jermail

Zach is a top notch guy. I brought my minivan in with an electrical issue that I couldn t trace. I spent hours under the hood. Zach assured me he d get to the bottom of it, and he did. These guys are amazing!I brought in my 2014 Jeep Wrangler for a heating issue i ve had for 3 years. Zach and his team were very professional and knowledgeable. Zach explained the issues that were going on and they were able to fix it! I can t express my gratitude enough. It s actually going to be a warm winter in that Jeep! Thanks guys!A. So, my engine kept misfiring and I could not figure out why. I would've went broke guessing what was wrong. Took my car in on Thursday and they figured out the issue. A little pricey but still reasonable. So glad I took my car there and they were able to fix it within hours. I was able to bring my own parts and the labor price was very reasonable. The owner did not price gouge for anything. I brought my truck in later Friday evening and he got it done and started by Saturday afternoon.

This place is hands down the best shop to get your work done. Trustworthy and professional. The whole team is knowledgeable about all different cars makes and models. I've been using them for the laat 10+ years .They get you in and out quickly and the prices are extremely fair. Zak and his team are awesome to work with. You need it done right go to Checkpoint don't waste your time at other shops. Great shop and great guys to work with!!

Ive been coming here for the past 5 years. The best service you can find in south suburbs of Chicago. The price is perfect for the job that they offer. Honest hard working employs that also gives you good advice. I highly advise that you come here and get your car fixed.

WOW! Zak and his team (Al and the rest) ...these guys are 1. knowledgable 2. FAST 3. EXTREMELY affordable. We went in with an alternator problem and within 24 hours...they had it fixed. Zak (the owner/manager) went the extra mile and made sure everything in the car was working properly. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend these guys.

I've found a diamond in the rough! Brought my car in 30 min before close with an electrical issue. Zack didnt turn me away. No attitude, no problems! Very honest, very respectful, very transparent, very courteous, and did not overcharge! Will be back!

Honest,reliable,and dependable mechanics are very hard to come across these days, and these guys at checkpoint auto are all 3 and very reasonable $ on top of that. I ve dealt with Zach 3 times and every single time he finds the problem ,thoroughly explains the issue,and gets it fixed ASAP. No BS I highly recommend them for any vehicle/mechanical issues!

Looking for an honest mechanic? Yes, they do exist! Right here at Checkpoint Auto Electric. I'm a single lady & every time I come here, I never feel ripped off or taken advantage of like I have at other shops. Guys, it is safe for you to send your wife or girlfriend here. They will always try to give you the best price they possibly can too. I will never take my car anywhere else.

Ziyad doesn t work on German Cars, but he still asked me for $350 to inspect the car only.1 star because of him trying to act smart, he could have stopped at I don t work on German cars, but asking for $350 to inspect a car ??

Zack has great customer service skills, will explain what has to be done, give a price and repair your vehicle. I have been dealing with them for a few years, I would strongly recommend , they will not give you run around

I ve been several mechanic shops and they couldn t figure out the issue with my car so I was referred to this place. I was so happy with the outcome. They were able to figure out the issue right away and they fixed it right away. Love there service and very friendly and helpful

Treated poorly when questioning the integrity of their work when I found out my air filter box was snapped by being removed incorrectly and was told after the fact that when I brought in my own part they would not warranty any damages they might incur. Figure something like that would come up before as a disclaimer. Don't trust this place for any work to be done.

I have been coming here for years. I don t trust anyone else. Zack is very knowledgeable and never does anything that s not needed. I bring all of our cars here. Again zack is a wonderful human being.
