Used to go here for exhaust repairs , owner is retiring and family taking over. Quoted price based on amount of required labor. Asked if they could do a little better on price. They agreed. Did job an easier less labor intensive way, still charged higher labor based on original plan to do more work to get to Part. When time to pay, bill was higher than original quote and claimed they never agreed to any discounts... get everything in writing first, these guys have selective amnesia. Not worth giving them business if their word means nothing.

Honest people don t charge like others. Keep your prices low and people will keep coming to the shop.

I took my car in Feb 2016 and all I wanted was my brakes done but I was told I had to replace brakes rotors and my calipers so I said ok and I left my car there for about 6 hours and I came back and paid the man there $430.00 for the replaced parts and labor but today is Oct 2016 and I had problems with the same brakes so I took my car to my brother who is also a machinic and I found out that not only my brakes were bad again this shop didn't even change my brakes or let alone the rotors or calipers this shop ripped me off when I trusted them with my car repairs I had both off my kids with me and they saw that and still ripped me off soo frm me to anyone trying to do business with them please save your self the time and money they don't do anything but take hard working people money

Fixed my car twice for a decent price while others tried to charge me alot more for something I didn't need. Didn't have to wait long they fixed it right away

Jimmy is absolutely amazing and made my day better! He lifted my car up showed and explained everything to me, showed me that I have a problem with one of my wheel suspensions, and told me where I can go. When I got back to the shop to pick up my car, he had made a temporary repair until I can get it fixed so that my babies are safe when in the vehicle. I will forever recommend him to anyone and everyone who inquires about a muffler shop, and I will forever be a customer of his, thank you!!!Service: Exhaust

First of all let me say that I was referred from the owner David at Amigos tire and repair in Chicago Heights He called down to EZ Muffler where he gets his own work done, and spoke with the owner Rod and Rod told him to send me down, it was a Saturday and there's shop closed at 1:30 p.m., but he told David to have the car towed, now mind you when we got down there it was 12:00 noon and I explained to Rod that I really needed the car for work and he told me let him see, at first he said it wouldn't be until Monday before I could get the car but after I had explained he said let me look. Then he came back and told me he was going to get the lug nuts to be replaced on the wheel. I just want you to know Rod how greatly I appreciate it You helping me that day and I will be bringing my car and SUV to your shop always and again thank you.

Great service, Jeff checked out the noisy muffler, gave me a great price and was done in 45 minutes, even took time to B S with me for a while. He's been in business for a long time and I can see why. Got a loud exhaust visit E Z MUFFLER

The owner, Jeff, is one of the most honest, hard working people I know. Every time I've brought in my vehicle, he does a great job. He doesn't try to over sell you. He is an example of what a person/business man should be. As long as he's in business, he'll always have mine.

Jeff is very knowledgeable and honest about his work. He gives a free estimate and prices are affordable.I was in and out in about 1 hour.He is the only mechanic on duty I believe, so although appointments aren t necessary, there s no guarantee work will be done same day.

I went here today and had my muffler worked on. They did excellent work, the staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The job was very affordable and was done in less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend these guys if you have any issues with your car. I will be coming back again! Thanks EZ Muffler!

Heard great things about this shop. Took my truck in for a new muffler to be welded on I brought the new muffler with me a flowmaster the cost was 195 dollars. About double what I excepted my wife brought the truck in for me to have the work done when I found out the price I called and the person was very short and pretty rude like I said I heard great things about this shop but my experience was a different story. I won't go back

I went to get my exhaust patched but ended up needing just to get the whole system replaced. The guys at EZ Muffler were really nice and friendly and Jeff did the exhaust system fairly quick and the price was great. I was afraid it was going to be 4 to 5 hundred dollars but it wasn t which was a relief for me. They do fair and honest work with fair pricing.Now my car is so nice and quiet and it even seems like it runs better as well. Thanks again EZ Muffler!

I heard rattling under my truck so I took it here. There was only one mechanic on duty this Saturday. This older guy was hesitant to make eye contact, which should have been my warning. I instead let him fix what he said was my problem. $200 worth. After he was done the rattling was still there, but louder. I drove my vehicle around the block from this shop, came right back and he refused to service me. Told me to come back next week and first come first served. Yeah right! Won't be back. EZ muffler - this guy is bad for your business. Why would I bring my truck back so he can make things even worse...Absolutely not.

Best exhaust shop in the Midwest. I own an auto repair shop in NW Indiana and I send all my customers there. I've used them for years and they do quality work for very fair prices.
