Can't really complain. The rooms were nice and clean and welcoming, we had two queen sized beds..they had a coffee maker with free coffee, hair dryer, alarm clock, a nice TV with a lot of good channels especially for kids..they had soap and shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom with a lot of tissue and clean towels..the fridge and microwave looked recently cleaned. My room was close to the ice maker and that was a bit noisy and also it's a weird smell that lingers here...kind of smells like curry...it was very strong..but for my overall stay overnight I loved it here and wouldn't mind staying again..and my room was on the first floor which was very convenient. Didn't have any free breakfast either

Update: still very clean, even behind the furniture. We stay here when it's too cold to stay in vehicle. Breakfast options are great, coffee is good. A few eateries nearby with mcds across parking lot. Nice coin washer and dryer.Needed a room fast with 2 dogs. Good price, there is a pet deposit. Didnt mind that, minimal. Room was clean as well as the halls good parking. Front desk guy was cool.Rooms: I found them to be very clean. I can tell they touch them up between guests.Noteworthy details: Right on Rte 66 and highway.Owners live on site so someone is always available.

We came from Iowa to tailgate and Tallboys we was there from Thursday til Sunday only the 1st night we could shower the next day the town was working on the water but 3 to 4 hours but we get back late that night and we had no water pressure. You couldn t even turn the shower on.we asked for some money to refunded and was told they wouldn t because it was the city I get the water for the few hours but the water pressure in the shower was not to see his fault I would not stay there again

Right off the Interstate. Front office person was attentive and personable so late at night. Room was warm on a rather cool night. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom had all the minor items one would need on a long road trip. We just stopped for rest and shower. Didnt make it to the small to-go breakfast they had down stairs. So for what we needed it was great. Thank you!

After reading some of the old reviews, I was worried it might smell like cigarettes and have bed bugs. As of late 2019, none of the common spaces smell like tobacco. Another more recent poster complained that it smelled bad. The lobby smelled like Indian food, which I love, so that didn t bother me, but your mileage may vary. I also checked for bed bugs and didn t find any, and I haven t seen any other insects in my room either. The guy behind the front desk was very polite and efficient.

The place looks very shady, old, dirty, and dingy. Small entrance and shabby office and no breakfast because they didn't have a single guest. By just looking at it you would want to scream and run away from this hotel. However, the bed was very comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean too. This place needs new carpet and possibly a fresh coat of paint and new decor. If you are tired and want to sleep then this is a good place but if you are thinking for getaway then this hotel is a definitely no. The guy at the lobby was friendly and that is why I gave three stars.

Bathroom floor, commode seat and and shower tub should be replaced because of the wear and tear. I will not return for these reasons. In addition the bedroom floor was nice to walk on and the fridge was clean so I have to compliment on that.

I had a great stay. Room was very clean, nice shower and hot water. Room had a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator/freezer. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I wold definitely stay here again.

This is a budget hotel. But after a 12+ hour trip, pulling in here and being greeted by friendly staff was a huge relief. You're going to get what you expect room and amenities wise, but the bed wasn't uncomfortable, I had a microwave to heat up my dinner and a bathroom to my own. Tired and on the road? This will do the trick.

It an ok hotel for price. Rooms clean and modern.beds could use upgrade(lumpy) has a very nice pool. No breakfast of any kind(claim because of covid) but in last 2 wks stayed at 2 other hotels in my travels and the both provide breakfast.

Fast Wi-Fi, satellite TV, new microwave, fridge, and bed. The breakfast is small but good enough to start the day. A solid hotel for the budget price. I had no strange smells in my room.

Basic accommodations for budget-conscious travellers. It's not The Ritz. It's not a Hilton, Hampton Inn, or Holiday Inn. It's also not as expensive as these chains.Unfortunately, there was a boil order in Chenoa while we were staying here. A warning note slipped under the door overnight would have been nice. However, we suffered no ill effects.

We were charged for a drawer with preexisting damages. When I confronted the man at the front desk he became aggravated and very unprofessional and refused to let me talk and walked away from me. He also told me he was going to charge me again for complaining and requesting a refund. The information cards at the front desk are false information to a hotel that isnt associated with them.

My godsister and I came at 3 am due to a snowstorm and 0 visibility. The manager and wife were sweet & helpful. This location was clean but needs TLC. I wanted to see the news and the TV didn't work, 5 outlets didn't work (had to unplug light to plug in phone), the heater knob wasn't available as it got too hot so we turned it off. Well it kept turning it self back on.... Loudly, so we really didn't get any sleep! Also they could use a security camera because a car got hit in the parking in front of building between 4 am & 9 am! Could be a great location off highway with a little help.

Stopped for Sunday night, on the way to northern Illinois.I was the only person checked in and was put on the second floor. The room was acceptably clean, but the towels and washcloths need A LOT of bleach. I was hesitant to use them. They were washed but did not look clean. Also the microwave, refrigerator, clock radio and a couple of lamps were not plugged in be ause there are not enough outlets in the room.

Horrible service. Hotel smelled awful. Sign on outside marquee says under new management. Seems like there was no management at all. My sister made a reservation since 9/20 received an itinerary through email regarding confirmation and when we arrived nothing in the system. Rude front desk person who claims to be new then she states she's a manager. Didn't help the situation wouldn't honor the email reservation for the rooms booked. Charged my sisters credit card before stating there was no reservation in the system. DO NOT RESERVE TO STAY HERE. A WASTE OF TIME. DISGUSTING HOTEL AND SERVICE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT CARE YOU DO NOT HAVE A RESERVATION. Zero stars if I could.

My fianc�'s room was very gross. The comforter had barbeque chicken plastered onto it. He also woke up with a sticker on his back. Our room was non-smoking, but the hallways smelled of smoke. But, the front desk lady was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were ok, but linens were old n stained, she never asked me if I wanted smoking or non smoking.. room was smoking...I was to tired to move our stuff... in morning we went for the continental breakfast, never saw the desk clerk at all,..bread was falling apart, butter was frozen, the syrup for waffles had the sugar separated on the bottom...plus the toaster only toasted on one side of the waffle....not sure they know that? ..I would've told them but never saw anyone. ....it was a place to stay for the price.....

Stayed in 220 needs updated, beds was old and hard and pillows was old and also uncomfortable. Carpet needs to go. Being someone who travels for work a comfortable bed is a must. It was a cheap place to sleep for the night with smoking

I slept good. Went down to have coffee, raisin bran, went to my car. Back to my room, the desk clerk who is Indian barged into the room without knocking. I told him you cant do that in USA, knock first!

Hallway smells of cigarettes, like a giant ashtray. Beds are cheap innerspring mattresses, noisy just to sit on, terrible for sleeping on.Toilet kept trying to overflow with each attempt at flushing.Won't be staying again.

Enjoyed my stay. My room was not vacuumed when cleaned & the garbage in the bathroom did not get emptied. Otherwise I have no complaints.

It was the worst. Unfortunately it was the only hotel in Chenoa, Illinois. Had to change room 3 times due to the A.C. not blowing well or at all. No breakfast or coffee even though it advertised complimentary breakfast. Did not sleep, it was too hot.

Good place for the price. Be careful if you book through a third party site; they tried to charge me twice. It was easily fixed with no problems. Nothing fancy at all just a bed and warm place to sleep.
