Took my Hyundai Tucson in because I thought I had a broken tie rod. Turned out, my tires were SO bad that my car was literally shaking when I drove it. Bill and his team worked me in to their very busy schedule quickly and they replaced all four tires in well under two hours as I waited in their very comfortable reception area. The price was extremely competitive and in line with what the high-volume, chain shops charge but with outstanding expertise and friendly, personal service.I have also had oil changes across the street and am always very satisfied.This place is top-notch. As an automotive-ignorant female, it would be easy to take advantage of me but I was referred to Check Point by a very close friend who I trust. I will never take my car anywhere else again.The most friendly, competent, fairly priced service ever!!

Absolutely the BEST car business experience I've ever had! AMAZING customer service!! The guys never make me feel dumb, but explain my cars needs in a way that makes sense and am able understand, and ALWAYS with a smile. I never feel ripped off or like I'm being overcharged...in fact, quite the opposite! Randy bent over backwards giving me his own PERSONAL loaner car once as I had no other transportation as a single mother while my car needed to be in the shop several days...AT NO EXTRA CHARGE as I could hardly cover the additional expenses of a fixing my broken car! I was shocked at the his generosity, kindness, ethics, and the way he runs his business in general. It's one of the most pleasant and impressive things I've ever seen in retail. Please don't hesitate to stop at Checkpoint for ANY and ALL car trouble needs. From tires and oil changes to full service, they do it all and do it better than ANY other service center. Go once and you'll never take your car or recommend to your family and friends going anywhere else. I know I haven't! Mine are now a part of the Checkpoint family as well and have all had similar experiences. Thank you to ALL the guys at Checkpoint for creating such a safe space for people to get sound work done without having to experience even the slightest anxiety. LOVE YOU GUYS!!

I can't day enough about them after what I went through last Saturday.First I want to express my sincere and deep appreciation to Chris Muncie (sp?) who I trapped as he was parking a customers car at Checkpoint Tire & Service on Saturday morning..You see, I was at Hardee's here in Chatham, where I spilled a drink in my lap and headed to my Jeep to go home and change clothes. As I opened the door, the wind caught my door and just about ripped it off the Jeep!While it was still attached, it was bent all to ____ and it would not close at all.In fact, it was so bad that there was a 18 inch gap, and that was after I tried unsuccessfully to force it closed. I mean, here it is the coldest day so far of the year, the interior of my Jeep was full of waterfowl & Deer hunting gear, Christmas presents to be delivered, trash I had gathered up to dispose of, laundry to be done, etc., ad nauseum.It's quite possibly the fullest it's ever been.Did I mention it is well below zero wind chill, and I am a mile from home with wet pants?Anyway, I held onto the open door, drove through a couple of businesses (parking areas, not buildings), and fortunately, I was able to immediately pull out onto Route 4. Made the green light and pulled into an open CHECKPOINT TIRE & SERVICE CENTER parking area where I spotted poor Chris getting out of a customers car.For the next 40 minutes, he worked on getting the door to shut in just his work clothes and a hoodie. I mean he took apart the latch, drilled it out so it could connect and hold the door shot and it was a BEAR - I would use other words but this is a G rated post.The poor guy was freezing and did me a solid as well as his employer, CHECKPOINT TIRE & SERVICE CENTER.Sure, I have some body damage but that started with me. But the door is now shut, and I was able to reopen it at least once - it was truly a pain to align, but he got it done, and I deeply appreciate it.Thank you Chis and CHECKPOINT.Wow, I kept it G rated.

I'd previously been to Checkpoint for help getting a tire on a wheel, which they did for free. Figured that down the road when I had a car issue I'd come in and save money (vs dealer).Fast forward to about a month ago.....My f-150's water pump went out. (Very surprising.) Checkpoint was responsive, they got me in reasonably quickly, and work was done in a day, and at a good price. Trucks runs perfectly again.Much appreciate them.

Staff here are excellent! They get quite busy, so an appointment is best. But they do handle emergencies as well with great service. They warranty some of their parts & when my battery died, they replaced it for free! They take great care of everyone, regardless if the car owner is local or out of state. If you need an oil change, they have a drive-through facility right across the street for fast service. Great group of service personnel!

Shout out to CheckPoint Tire & Service!I was in from out of town and getting a check oil message. Without a seconds hesitation they checked my oil and diagnosed it as just needed a reset. NO CHARGE!Old school great service like this is why my dad always spoke highly of this team, and obviously why they get such high reviews. This morning my jeep would not start but this afternoon it would, so I took it to check point to have them figure out what was wrong. They were super nice, as always, and fixed me right up. Absolutely love Adam he's the best always has a good attitude willing to help in any way you need him even gave me a ride home once when I didn't have one. The service is good they are usually very busy but definitely worth the wait. Competitive prices and they get the job done right the 1st time. No hassle

Best place to take your car! They always give amazing service and really take care of their customers. They re busy so definitely make an appointment but they were able to help me out quickly with a brake problem. Their oil change services across the street are also great. Setting up an appointment was easy, and now I can set it up online myself, making it that much simpler. I showed up about 15 minutes before my appointment time, for an oil change and tire rotation, and was out about a half hour later. Sat in their waiting room playing on my phone and the time went by quickly. Staff was friendly and professional. Cost was just under $100, which I think is reasonable, because I don't have the time or space to do this myself. I will return for my next appointment in June, and I will set up the appointment myself when the date gets closer. Highly recommend.

The following is my opinion, based on my transactions with this company.Honest and accurate. They almost always definitively determine what's wrong, quickly and with high accuracy. And, they back their work pretty well.While they aren't the "cheapest"... They are NOT unreasonable in what they charge.

Had a mower tire that needed replaced, brought in the old tire on the rim, along with the new tire. Had me in and out in five minutes. They even refused to accept payment. Customer service was spot on, the shop was clean, the waiting room was impeccable. Definitely a good shop to go to! We have been using CheckPoint for years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have my car fixed quickly and the price is always reasonable. I do not like having to take my vehicle anywhere else.

I can't say enough good things about this business or Adam! We pulled up with the hazards on with some serious issues (bad gas). Adam came out and took a look at our car he made sure they worked us in as soon as they possibly could. He was great about checking in with us and did his best to reassure us and get us back on the road as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend this business for anyone who needs auto work! had a trailer tire blowout on me, I took the tire into them and was going to drop it off but the gentleman that sold me the new tire told me to wait on it, 10 minutes later tire was replaced and they were pretty busy too! absolutely the best service I have ever had! blows Discount Tire away! I live about 35 miles from there but I will be going back to Checkpoint for any future repairs, service and replacement.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I now have air conditioning in my van! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the mechanics! I had taken my van to another shop that assured me there wasn't anything wrong with my air conditioning. Not only did the mechanic diagnosis and repair the a.c., but was completed within half a day! I'll be bringing all my vehicles here for repair work.UPDATE 04/04/2022:Have taken my son's Jeep Liberty here and, as expected, superb service! Running great and will be bringing it back for new tires soon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Randy was nothing less then awesome!!! I had my car air working but not cooling sufficently. They diagnosed no issues other then it needed to be refilled and explained and followed up during the entire service; was informative and fair pricing!!! Was recomended to call back should there be any issues or concerns which from writing this review no issues at all. As I was heading back from Southern Illinois to Chicago, I had a blowout on the highway about 10 miles from Springfield. The tow company took me to CheckPoint and I am so happy they did.Although they didn't have the tire size that I needed, Randy did everything he could to get me back on the road so that I didn't have to find a hotel for the night.I was so touched by how he went above and beyond to make sure that I got home to Chicago safely.I'm so appreciative.Service: Tires

These guys were the best. Traveling through and had a low coolant light come on. Stopped in with no appointment and asked if they would be able to check and fill coolant. These took the time to look over and check to make sure there were no leaks or issues. Very professional, helpful, and kind and courteous. I would recommend this team and shop any time of the day. Passing through while traveling from out of state. Our check engine light came on about 25 mins from Check Point. Of course, on a Saturday afternoon while we are hundreds of miles from home. I called around to 5 places and Checkpoint was the only one to listen to my car troubles and willing to get us in for repair same day. Randy was top notch in helping us get our car intp the shop and repaired quickly for a very reasonable rate! Couldn't reccomend them enough!! Checkpoint has always been amazing. High quality skill with small town prices, and their staff is the best. Honest and friendly, always willing to work your vehicle in. My entire family (& many friends I've referred) wouldn't trust taking a vehicle anywhere else!

We were traveling from the Chicago area and on our way to the Dallas, Texas area when we got a flat tire at about 3pm on a Saturday. After calling another shop and was told they couldn't do anything for us until Monday, we called CheckPoint and they told us to bring it in. Knowing we were traveling through and having to get back on the road, CheckPoint told us to bring it in and they will put us at the front of the line. They sure did. Thank you so much for helping us and taking care of us right away.

They fixed my flat tire a lot faster than I expected and for a good price. I love how the lobby is always clean. They also offer free wifi while you wait.

One of my tires was leaking air and I brought it to the first place that answered the phone. They said to bring it over. He was fast to find a screw in my tire after checking all 4. He filled it and patched it within 5 minutes. I m definitely coming back here in the future for my car needs!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Fast, attentive, up front, friendly service. Staff saw me within 2 days or less, and had my car taking care of in less than a couple hours. I appreciate when professional mechanics treat drivers with respect as far as vehicle knowledge goes. Weather you know your stuff, or have no idea how a car works, checkpoint will have you up and running in no time with a smile on your face.

Went there twice for the same problem, can t identify the problems. Same problem, different cause they tightened the battery but ofc that won t fix anything. They have been good but they let me down.
