Luis the driver was awesome! Made it here quickly. Actually before me! I wanted to tow my car from my house to my performance shop. Was definitely one of the best and easiest tows I ve ever had considering my car is lowered and all. Thanks again Luis pleasure meeting you!

Luis was Amazing!! I want to thank him so much!! My 2023 corvette didn t start at all. And I needed it to be towed to the dealership and Luis handle my corvette with really good care. And example everything he was doing. Thank you so much Luis.

Hands down best towing company around! We needed a tow this morning. I contacted roadside through my insurance company (Progressive) Who sent me to them. Original estimated time was 60-90 minutes. I called and spoke to the lady at the from desk and explained the situation to her. She was sweet, kind, understanding. She sent a driver to me immediately, told me it would be 30-45 minutes. Meanwhile, the insurance company kept sending me updates. They changed my estimated time to 110-140 minutes and about 15 minutes later that changed to 120-200 minutes. I was getting ready to call back when the tow driver Zack showed up. He had us loaded and back headed towards home in under 10 minutes. When we arrived about 25 minutes later he unloaded the car right where I had asked and even hooked up his jump pack so I could get the key out of the ignition. A few hours after arriving home the same lady I spoke to earlier called back to make sure everything was ok. I highly recommend that you call Mcoy for all your towing needs. Next time I'll just skip the insurance company and call them directly!

My car battery died. I called my extended warranty company for roadside assistance, had Mc Coys dispatched, and Marissa called within minutes had an ETA for me. She was so personable and treated me with kindness. Mike was very thorough and walked me thru the battery test and explained the results, which I had assumed. He had the new battery installed and up and running in 15 minutes. Definitely will call them if I ever need roadside assistance . Excellent Service.

Car broke down on i80 near Minooka. Searched Google for a tow nearby me to take to my house, called McCoy. Dispatcher was nice on the phone. They came earlier than the estimated time and was very friendly and helped me with my kids. Paid $200, was somewhat reasonable. Days later, I needed my car to go to the dealership, so I called roadside after realizing my car warranty came with free towing and the same company came and once again was very friendly even though it was a different driver. Highly recommend and the other reviews prove well.

The service, quality and arrival time was phenomenon. Tyler was professional, fast with the hook up and got my vehicle at its destination with great time. The operator that serviced us (I didn t catch her name ) was great as well.

Great experience this morning. Dispatcher was very sweet and helpful. Tow truck operator that took care of me was right on time, diligent and very helpful as well. Great team over there, thank you guys for giving my Nissan a lift this morning!

Lewis provided a safe, efficient ride. Drove over 90 minutes on a short notice to get me to my destination and was so polite and friendly to my circumstance. Had an awesome attitude and was a great storyteller as well. Absolute lifesaver and I would recommend him for any other rider

Have used McCoys for last several years. Each time has been a very good experience. I was skeptical at first as I had always taken my car to the dealer. But after a few bad experiences at the dealer I decided to give them a chance. They are very knowledgeable, have good prices and do great work. I wish I had discovered them much sooner. Type of work performed, tires, breaks, pads, rotors, alignment, exhaust.

Amazing! They were so welcoming, knowledgeable and supportive. Having my car die while on my road trip they towed, tried to fix but it was beyond their abilities and then towed it to the dealership for further repair. They let's us know about this awesome restaurant down the street and let me pass out in the lobby and sleep for the 8 hrs we were there. I highly recommend this family business if you are in need of service.

No one else works on my cars. The service is always excellent. From the first phone call to the completion and pick-up of my fixed vehicle, its easy and comfortable. From Tow personnel to Office staff, its friendly yet professional. They keep you informed and there are no surprises, fees or otherwise. I had to have my car towed after blowing two tires. McCoy towing came out and I was blown away. I wish I could Remember his name bc he took an incredibly frustrating and stressful situation and made me laugh and feel at ease. Amazing customer service. A true gem of an individual

I just recently took my 2011 Ford Fusion Sport to this shop. They did an excellent job with figuring out what needed to be done and was very nice and very professional upon the whole 2 weeks of my car being there. I would absolutely positively recommend everyone to go to this shop they offer the best prices around the whole area I do want to say thank you to the shop owner. and everyone there for the incredible service that they provided me I hope to own my very own shop just like there's one day -Nick B

I've never had any major work done but I did have new tires put on my GMC Sierra and new tires put on my Mazda. I ended up needing an emergency change out on the highway in my Sierra and they tightened the lug nuts incredibly tight. I'm a mechanic by trade and I even put a 3-ft cheater bar on my ratchet handle and could not get it broken free. Unfortunately had to have a service truck come out with a 3/4 in Milwaukee impact to rattle it off. Fast forward a year later, I needed to do an emergency tire change on my Mazda and I am in the same exact situation. I used a 3-ft cheater and unfortunately cracked my socket. Keeping in mind I have never-seize on the bolting for the Mazda so I'm not sure what they are torquing these lug nuts to but if I was a betting man, it's well over 300 ft lbs. I recommend anyone getting tire services done at this place to do a final torque check on your lug nuts before traveling any distance. Using the correct torque specifications is a very minor detail, I couldn't imagine taking a job to this place that was very in-depth.

Matt my driver tonight was probably the most respectful, responsible, diligent and stand up driver I ve ever experienced while having a vehicle towed. I posted a service request through Chevrolet Roadside service and it was sent to McCoy for fulfillment. The driver was able to start the car after 2 others were unable to do that. I was going to go to their shop to replace my battery but missed finding it. I went to my car dealer instead and on the way home I seen where their shop was. I was very impressed with them and will use their services in the future. Thank You

The tow truck driver, Matt, was wonderful. He arrived so quick and called me to let me know he arrived. He was so professional and kind. He also Helped me onto the truck being so high up and made sure I was ok. It s people like Matt who make a stressful situation so much better. Called my Insurance for roadside assistance, my ins. set up my Tow with McCoy's. My first time using this company. The driver was there before the time they estimated. The driver was professional and very polite. I will keep their info for future and recommend to others.

3rd time using mccoy services. 2 times they have towed my car and i just had them move a forktruck for me that i wasn't able to get a trailer for. Always on time, great communication, and professional. First choice whenever i need a wrecker!

McCoy s saved the day for our family! We were headed home from a long road trip. At some point, we ran over some nails and our low tire light came on and were losing air quickly out of 2 tires. This business was just 5 minutes away. They were able to get us in right away. They patched our two tires and had us back on the road in 1 hour. We were so thankful for the quick and great service! Highly recommend!

My rental car broke down on the way to work & Enterprise sent them.Exchange on the phone was great. But the guy they sent made an already frustrating morning more unpleasant. I met him outside & tried to be helpful, find out what I needed to do/what happens next etc & couldn t decipher anything hr said.I mentioned that the car was being returned because of a loud metal scraping sound and he asked me did I run someone over? Then, while pointing out & documenting damage that was already there he says yeah it s amazing how disrespectful people are to their cars yet they still keep voting for Democrats I don t know if he was on something or just under the influence of stupid but that s the only possible explanation I can think of for this incoherent & bizarre exchange.

One of the only places in the Grundy Co. area (to my knowledge) that will perform vehicle lockouts. Certainly the most reasonably priced. That's how I discovered them. Truly a family owned and operated business, been around a long time, they will treat you like family. Would trust them with any of my vehicles.

Racist,prejudice, sketchy business with a few hammond cops that would tow a person's car unauthorized and take it to this lot. Had sheriff authorized tow release and it was denied by the owner. He called in one of his cop buddies to agree with him. The sheriff department immediately instructed this man that a local cop could not deny a sheriff's tow release. He tried to charge me over $200 to get my property out with a tow release and he had to be forced by the sheriff's department to release my property. He has 0 rights to deny a tow release but he has been doing that to blk car owners.
