All the stars. Hands down most knowledgeable mechanic I ve ever done business with. This guy gets it done fast and the cost is something to smile about in addition to the peace of mind of a reliably running vehicle. I m new to the area and usually always go to local garages, found my new guy. Tarren saved my truck from bad parts put in by a franchise shop when I had an emergency on a business trip. My truck is an 03 and he had no issues what so ever finding or putting in parts. If you still drive a real car, not a piece of plastic with a computer in it, look no further.

I ve been coming to Trudo for almost 4 years since I moved to Champaign.He was always honest with me and most importantly for most jobs you can get your car back same day.Highly recommend.5/5 IMO

One of the best mechanics I ve been to. Definitely a live saver. I had taken my car to get fixed at Napleton s dealership and they were charging me 3 times the amount that I got charged here. Super friendly gentlemen. Support local business!

Trudo Auto Repair is the best in the area. He is a hard-worker with great mechanic knowledge. I ve had oil changes, brakes, tires, exhaust manifolds, etc. replaced in multiple vehicles and has been fair with prices and scheduling. No other place like Trudo!

Everything you want in a professional, ethical mechanic. Trudo hasmaintained our newer Expedition and Focuses and has been a champ at troubleshooting an older Vette and a collector Jag. I want to thank Taran and Trudo Auto Repair for the excellent service I received. I had an emergency issue with the water pump on my Chevy Tahoe and they were able to work in my vehicle in a very timely fashion, as promised, and came in right on the amount quoted over the phone. No games, just honest, straightforward work and OUTSTANDING communication from the shop kept me informed all throughout the process. I would highly recommend!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Never booked a further appointment to actually fix the problem with my vehicle. He only gave me inspection point, told me basically why my engine was having those problems, but once I told him my warranty should cover the procrastination with him started because he never sent me the quote to send to my agent even called back and told him I still needed a quote but never sent one to my email.I Don t Know if it s because I m a female or if I don t have cash or credit for my repairs because my warranty will pay it for free.Men like him is the reason why I don t trust em.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I ve know taren for a long time and have always heard he was the man to take your gm vehicles with afm/dod lifter failure too. Gave him a call and he got it in quick. He knew exactly what the problem was just from hearing the vehicle run. He kept me in the loop the whole time sent pictures of the tear down and putting it back together. Trudo auto repair will be the only place I take my vehicles from now on. Thank again for the great work.Service: Engine repair

I'm a man that has a few vehicles normally, I've always taken them to the dealerships to do any work or maintenance. After one of my vehicles needed some work and I felt bad about what the dealership told me. I brought it here i was told it's something he could do in less time and he would beat the dealerships price by a large amount and he always does. I've brought him some large projects and smalls. He's done breaks, ac work and all maintenance on my silverado, New suspension, breaks and a full motor build on my escalade. He's done some repairs and all maintenance on my R/T Durango. He got the lift, wheels and tires set up on my f150 and even has done the maintenance on my atv's. Great trustworthy guy. I would and have brought my mom's vehicles here.

This place is GREAT! Had a nightmare situation at Napleton s where they misdiagnosed my vehicle and created MORE problems! Took it to Trudo s and they corrected the mistakes while not running up the price, and got my vehicle back on the road no problem! These guys are legit mechanics who want to help people! Taran at trudo auto is the best around. Plain and simple. If you go somewhere else then as DJ Khalid would say you played yourself. Affordable and most importantly any work done you know it s gonna last. A straight shooter, and not gonna BS you or get you to buy things you don t need (speedlube). The service and trust I got was incredibly. This young man restored my faith in a trust worthy mechanic. He was friendly and honest about everything he was going to do for me. I'm disabled so he even gave me a ride home and then came and got me when the job was done. I can't say enough good things about this young man and his abilities.

I took my car to 4 places to try and get the problem fixed. None of the mechanics could figure it out until I took it to trudo and he had it fixed that day. I purchased a 2004 Chevy trailblazer LT that needed a new water pump and he looked it over before I purchased it to make sure I was making a good purchase and in the process he had seen that there was other things that needed to be fixed and due to that he was willing to help me talk the saler down on the price they wanted and he's doing the work at a reasonable price I definitely recommend this automotive repair shop! I'm just grateful that I checked with Don's automotive to find a good place to take my vehicle before I took it back to AJ's cuz I will never do business with AJ station ever again the man that runs the one in Urbana is very rude and he makes smart a__ comments I'd rather go here so anybody that's looking for a good automotive place to go to this is the place right here I give them five stars all the way
