I had to get my entire wheel bearing hub replaced. The mechanics at Tire Monkey worked in an efficient time and even came out to tell me how bad my car was lol, you have to respect an honest mechanic. The receptionist Ms. Sue was also wonderful as I was waiting. I didn t even notice the time that went past. They make sure to tell you everything before you leave and even answer questions you have when you call.

I needed rear brakes. The prices I was quoted at a local dealership encouraged me to find an alternate auto shop. I am so glad I called Tire Monkey! They quoted a price that was less than half of the dealership and included a 2 year warranty! Great people, quality work that they stand behind and a fantastic price, I have found my go to auto shop! thank you Tire Monkey!!

Brought my wife's car in for an oil change and had them check on what I suspected was bad shocks. They looked it over and let me know it was the control arms, and promptly had them replaced as soon as I gave them the OK. They were very professional, courteous and even took the time to explain the warranty that came with the work, as well as some additional work they did to tighten things up at no charge. The car drives like it's new!

I'm not pleased with tire monkeys service due to them being a very unprofessional whenever I called to check on the progress of my vehicle while it was being fixed and it took tire monkey all day long to just replace a starter on my 2008 Hyundai Veracruz witches only is a two hour job and I would highly recommend everyone not to do business with this mechanic shop if u want your vehicle back in a timely manner just putting that out there. I don't recommend a five star rating for this business due to how rude they have been towards me and my wife that is 15 weeks pregnant whenever are vehicle needed a new starter put in

I had the worst time ever trying to get my vehicle serviced until I found this place, so here is my poem to Sue for making my day.Tire Monkey , Tire Monkey , the place to be, they treat people like family. Talk to Sue; she is helpful and sweet as can be. They'll fix your vehicle and fix it right, they except some car warranties, mine without a fight. I have taken all of my cars here for the last 6 years. I trust them with all any issues and they are one of the last truly honest mechanics left. They will only recommend what needs done and not try and sell you on things that don t. They have never left me hanging and have always solved every issue I ve ever had and their prices have been lower than any competitors.

Went in for an oil change and a complaint of the car pulling to the right. Like some other places, he didn't make up a story as to why the car pulled. The tires just needed more air! Will definitely be back

I locked myself out next door conveniently and the gentleman working not only got into my newer Volkswagen rather quickly but he also didn t want to charge me much of anything. Knowing how much other people charge I had to give him more money. Thanks again.

Suddenly had a flat tire this morning, called to make sure I could get in and out within a small window of time, and Steve and crew accommodated me perfectly. No nonsense, diagnosed a valve stem leak, balanced and out the door, with a very reasonable quote on a set of tires for the time when I need to replace them. I will easily give these folks my business again.

These guys are seriously the kindest and most sincere car shop that I've ever done business with. They take the time to explain things to you and go above and beyond what is necessary to ensure the job is done correctly. They make it easy to do business with them, especially if you're in Rantoul! They will pick up and drop off your car at your place of business/work for you. They are fast, efficient, and extremely fair in their prices.

Had a nail in my tire and brought it in. They put it on the lift and determined it wasn't leaking, so they pulled it out for no charge. Took about 5 min from the time I got to the counter to getting my keys back. Cant ask for better service than that!

They were very friendly very fast only place in town that carried my tires in stock that could get my car done ASAP not only did I replace all four tires but I also had them do my front brakes it was a reasonable price would go there again getting ready to take my next vehicle there to get more tires.

Highly recommend!! My ac compressor went out, another place quoted me a crazy amount of money. I took my car to tire monkey, I paid 1/4 of what the other place wanted atleast! They made me feel like family, tire monkey is the best!

I've used Mr. Fix it\Tire Monkey for a variety of work for both of my vehicles (07 Hyundai Accent and 02 Corvette). They have the best labor rate in the CU area, and they're knowledgeable enough to know what to do and how to do it right. Jim can come off as a loud and mean guy (not to customers but over the phone talking to other people), but he's actually pretty friendly guy who'll take the time to explain everything you want to know about any work you're considering getting done. He even apilogized for his use of language with others when I bought it up to him during a conversation we were having. The mechanics are friendly too. One other nice thing is that they'll let you bring in your own parts and make recommendations for what to get if you do want to go that route. This might not be a big deal for most customers\vehicles, but it's a huge plus for my Corvette because there's a variety of parts I wanted to use that can't be ordered by local repair shops. Don't be fooled into thinking you're getting anything better just because you pay more for work and parts at the dealerships. Use Mr. Fix It, and you'll be glad you did. Matthew 7:12

Worst job ever done! Me and my dad went there to get our van's heat fixed. They charged us $600 dollars to get it fixed by replacing the radiator of the van. And they reaplaced but no change in the heating system of the car. It was so cold and the van was still blowing cold air. We went there twice to ask then why is not fixed, and they completely ditched us. My mother had to drive that van all winter WITHOUT heat. Then recently it turned out that they turned off the ac to start heat (which didn't work in the winter) but in the summer there is no A.C now. So we get it checked by a different mechanic and they told us that Mr Fix It didn't put on the bolts back of the condenser. We paid $600 for an undone job. Too much inconvenience and they cheated basically.

My dad went to this place to get a tire alignment for $80. Went home and his car was still swerving while driving. He then went to Beaumont alignment to find out that they didn't do any alignment to his wheels at all and they got it fixed. My dad went back and they blamed the tires he bought from Sam's club. They refused to give him a refund until he threatened to go to court. Beware, never go here.

I took my avalanche there to check the balance on my tires and they said everything was fine, but it still vibrates your teeth out while driving on the highway. When they put my tires back on, they tightened the lug nuts to over 300 lbs/sq inch. My mechanic had to use a breaker bar to loosen them. Being this tight cause my rotors to be wrapped and caused my brakes to fall apart. They also didn't reset the automatic tire pressure readers so they didn't read correctly. I will never take my vehicle to them again. I would recommend you don't either.

We needed some assistance and a specialty tire. Lance and everyone were extremely helpful and very very understanding of a difficult situation. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times... Got me back in the road as quickly as humanly possible.

Took my fire fusion there my dad paid over 800 dollars for new ac compressor . And my air never worked properly after that . I took my car today to get my power steering fixed the mechanic told me the reason my belts broke was because my air compressor wasn t mounted down and asked me had I ever had it replaced smh I m very upset

Would give any stars if I could get away with it. They were called , hours in advance, to fix my daughters flat tire. Keys were left,address was texted to them along with all information so they would bring g correct size replacement tire. They NEVER came. They left her sitting in 18 degree weather. What a horrible way to run a so called business. Do Not Call them for Anything. Horrible place.

THE BEST SERVICE in the area, hands down. Honest, friendly, knowledgeable. Took care of both my own and my wife's car's and FINALLY did the job right. We'd been all over Champaign-Urbana previously fixing the same problems over and over again. I'd send my daughters to him. Will not ever lie. 5 stars, this is business the way it should be done! They do cheap and medium low quality service. My car's water pump wss broken, but they said ac compressor issue. Its replacement would cost about $1000. I gave up to fix it for my 16 yrs old vehicle. Other car mechanic in town said, it was a broken water pump. I was disappointed for both. I thought mr. Fix dosen't care very old vehicles like mine.

Oh wow what can I say. The owner and his Secretary helped me get financing to get my car fixed. They took me home and picked me up when my car was ready. He did two inspections on it to make sure it was done correctly.
