The night crew was incredibly nice and patient with me and my tired mind, despite it being late. They made me feel welcomed in the store, and I felt that they genuinely cared about customers having a positive shopping experience, even though I just needed a loaf of bread and a Gatorade at almost 2am. Wonderful staff. Pleasantly surprised. MGMT, please give these women a proper raise, they re real troopers.

Thank You to the older lady working the register! I told another employee that there was no more coffee and she was like ok and did nothing or said nothing.Older lady noticed me and told me She was gonna make some more right away and also recommended the hot salsa for my burritos. Thank You! I was there at 11:00am

It's a gas station. That being said, I've never met a staff that was a friendly and welcoming as the crew working late nights at this location. Has the atmosphere of a small town shop, haven't had a bad experience yet.

They sell Bitcoin and have hot dogs Lotto and more really nice cashiers said thank you and very courtesy.

You can NEVER wash your windshield here! They could at least put water in but no, it hey are always dry. Use to be a great place.

Update: If Thornton's is now going to force me to Pre-Pay, you better have more than one register open so there isn't a line of 15 people...especially during peak hours when you know you will be busier.This location used to have decent employees but started hiring rather undesirable people last year. The newest employees are a notch up but customer service is still not very good. Don't believe the website when it says people spend 10 minutes here. You will spend that much time waiting in line for the register.

Used to absolutely love Thortons as it's close to my house and everyone is friendly (there still are some current employees that are extra friendly to me) but in the last month or so the new employees have went down hill. I'm tired of getting treated bad, like I'm annoying them by coming in and buying things. Getting ignored, not told have a good day etc, and today around 4:30pm I went in to get a cup of water for my son because it's 100 degrees out, was 10 cents short and got told I can't take it and the lady walked away from me while I was trying to pay with cash instead. My boyfriend and I will both be finding a new gas station to go to everyday now until the employees can treat people with just a little compassion! Because these new employees are AWFUL!

Typical gas station and convenience store. They generally have what I'm looking for. It's usually clean. The people are usually nice.

My husband bought me a 2015 Chevy Suburban for my birthday a few months back. It only takes E85 gas, we live 30 minutes outside of Champaign and have limited resources gas stations that carry what we need. The Thorntons on Neil St in Savoy doesn't carry E85, but luckily this gas station is not much further of a travel to get it. I called and spoke with Jerry, he was extremely helpful, kind, and informative about the rewards program. Thank you!

If I have a choice Thorntons is where I go. Good gas prices, friendly staff and lots of snacks. The place is clean, and I sware I see at least one person I kniw when heading in. All around great fill up and Is convenience store.

The only thing that keeps me from rating Thornton's a 5 star gas station is that I pump gas and use my credit card but I can NEVER get a receipt outside. Obviously, the paper has not been replaced. There's plenty of people inside the store. Why can't they put receipt paper at the pumps???

This afternoon I stopped by at the station to fill up on my way to work. Gas was $2.78 ($2.75 with my card)....and ALL pumps were down. Just stopped by on my way home from work, gas is up to $3.99. I went inside, explained to the guy about situation earlier, and asked if I could fill up with the price it was when the pumps were down. He said "no". You have just lost a long time, loyal customer. ((don't even deserve a one star today))

Great clean gas station and friendly workers! The ices are great and the rewards are good for the gas. Some of the pumps don't stop though and we have had overflows.

I went in there this morning on 11/3/17 around 8am and the black girl with glasses is eating behind the counter and chewing food while helping me. DISGUSTING AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! What happened to peoples work ethic these days?

Lots of coffee options here!This a great gas station to grab your morning coffee, they have lots of brews, flavors, and topping for coffee.Give this place a shot in the morning and you wont be disappointing..

My favorite place in champaign county. Any time I came back to my home town I stop to get me a mister pib. Fountain pop. Only place that has it. All the employees are really nice too.
