They let me know I had a coolant leak while changing the oil. Spot on, my water pump was cracked. I was there for all of 20 minutes tops from start to finish of the oil change. They were quick and easy to get service through, and nice enough to let me know of an additional problem.They topped up my coolant as well which was very nice of them after seeing the leak, and that I was low.

Always great service! We don't have a speed lube in Mattoon/ Charleston, so anytime I'm in Champaign and close to needing an oil change, I stop here.

I too wonder what is going on here now. Been a loyal customer for years, but found out that the last time I went in, nothing was done and was charged $80. They charged me for fuel injection cleaner and I could barely get the van started again for about 3 days. They never vacuumed, I noticed this first thing. Then I started having issues with the van, my brother checked it out for me and said the oil was way low and like sludge. They never changed the oil either!!! And to top it off, I was the ONLY vehicle there, workers were sitting on buckets when I arrived. Van is out of commission now

Quick yes, but PSI on tires was all checked ok, when in fact I had a slow leak and 1 tire was at least 5-8 lbs low.Didn t fill washer fluid either.

They were able to get Me in super fast. I give a 4-star because of the cigarette smoke that came into the waiting room.I have asthma along with many others, so smoking where the wind doesn't bring it in might be a thought.I appreciate the service and will go back.

Came in for an oil change, got there close to closing time, so i would've understood if they sent me away. But instead they let me sit in their lot until closing time, then told me they wouldn't be able to get me in. If they had said that up front, I wouldn't have been mad.

This place is amazing! Actually did a quick oil change (under 15 minutes) including vacuuming and air in all tires. Kassy who works there was absolutely wonderful! She deserves a raise for real. I am not sure what is going on here, but I used to love coming here for an oil change. They even accept old oil.But I started to change my own oil on both the RAV4 and other car after they have misplaced my tire stem valve caps and over torque all my bolts.It was nearly impossible trying to losen the oil pan plug bolt, and they f'ed up the torque on the filter cartridge that I am now having to replace the cartridge cap since that oil drip port is now unremovable.It's 60-80 dollar oil changes, which should really cost around 30-40 dollars, that make this more of a headache than changing your own oil. I should not and will not pay an additional 30-40 dollars for some shotty labor.I am beginning to think that Speed Lube refers to more than just the oil changes they perform.

Called to check if they carried the oil filter I needed. They said they do. Turns out they don't. One star because after wasting my time they blamed me and said I didn't tell them what kind of vehicle. He just didn't listen or bother to check, and assumed they did, then blamed me when he was wrongService: Oil changeService: Oil change

The crew is always pleasant and knowledgeable. They live up to the name on the sign while not skipping any steps. I have used them on all of my cars since moving to Champaign 4 years ago and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

Used to go out of my way to go here, because they were fast and pleasant. The last two times I pulled up, I had multiple people working here shake their head in frustration that another customer wanted service. I dont want people Iike that touching my truck. If they don't want my business, I am happy to take it elsewhere.These guys were working at 4:15 PM on 8/18

I came here after looking online and saw mostly positive reviews. As soon as I pulled up, the employee who waved me in was in a noticeably bad mood. He was not friendly during the initial contact. He later asked me if I wanted my tires and fluids checked. I said yes assuming this came standard on a routine oil change. I found out it was not standard and cost me a few dollars more. Would have been nice if he had mentioned that when he asked. Overall they were very fast, but the service was just not friendly and I don t see myself returning.

This was the quickest I ve ever had my oil changed. I had to wait a bit to get waited on because they were. Yay but once my car was driven into the garage, it was exactly 10 minutes! Taking my truck in this week! Very impressive and they vacuum your vehicle, too!

Won't recommend it to any one. The service is fast but not very pleasant, I watch the staff pull off the bottom engine shield off my car to do oil change, but he pull it too hard which broke the two side of the shield. He seems did not care it at all. I hope he can be more gentle on my car.In addition, I found the phone number they left to me does not work at all.

Fast, efficient, not overtly friendly but quietly friendly (which I prefer). I've been going here for oil changes for a few years now, and I've never experienced being talked down to (or over) here as I have at other area shops. Plus the waiting room is dog friendly.

Always have a great experience here. They change my oil in 10-15 minutes, super nice guys, fair prices $50ish for the cheaper oil. Highly recommended!

It was quick indeed but cost way more than I expected. They have a "regular oil" option at $35 or so on the price list but I wasn't offered it. They gave me only 3 options ranging from about $55 to $80 to choose from.

People working there in a noticeably bad mood. They didn't provide the services that were on the checklist, which they should because this is kind of an overpriced oil change place. Didn't let me see the oil stick after finishing which is definitely something that needs to be done, just all around bad vibe won't be returning.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I called and asked how much a full synthetic oil change would be for my vehicle. The man on the line gave me three different prices and then said it may be ten dollars more because he wasn t really sure how much it actually was. Poor customer service. When a customer calls they want to know how much they are going to spend BEFORE they decide hence the reason for calling first. Based on this phone call I will not be using this place.

I've been taking my vehicles to Speed Lube for years. They are fast, reasonably priced, and I've never had any issues. They don't try and upsell you on unnecessary procedures, and they're super honest and thorough.

One of the best oil shop I been to. Although they forgot to reset my oil light, but the staff provided instant help. And the staff there is pretty kind and patient.
