I have never posted a review before but Ed is amazing. I had car problems while on my way to Florida and showed up at the shop at 5:30. They took it in that night and worked on it til 10pm. I was on my way again the next morning and so thankful. Never had service like this before anywhere. Just a fair and honest outfit where the costumer comes first. Sure wish I had this place in my home town. Thanks Ed.

I had just bought a new car (2015 Dodge Charger R/T) and it needed some work. So I called around Champaign and wasn t happy with anything I had ran across. In fact I almost got sold into putting some janky parts on my car by another mechanic. Then I came across Ed & the Services were beyond what i was expecting and the quality of the work is definitely the best and fastest. Prices are definitely worth it, and you ll understand why once you drive your car again after he s finished his work on it. His hands are definitely blessed and just be sure to take a second to listen to him because he will also definitely educate you on a lot. 5 star service without a doubt. Beyond great service! Owner and his employee took me in right away. Came out and started to look at the car with me right when I got there. Talked about what I knew was wrong with the car and about potential problems. Took the car in the back right away and got done with the work extremely fast. Everyone that walked in knew the owner personally and felt like one big family. Had some tire issues that needed to be fixed. He didn t print a ticket for me so he did all the work on the house. The professionalism of this place was spot on. I was also a first time customer. Pro Auto will be my go to mechanic here in Champaign, as well as a handy recommendation to any friends and family that are looking to get work done. Thanks guys!Service: Tires

I have been to Pro Auto Fix a couple of times now and each time I have been pleasantly surprised by Ed. For each issue, he showed me how he diagnosed it so that I could understand and diagnose such issues in the future. Unlike other repair places that charge high fees for diagnostic and are not very forthcoming with details, Ed is happy to discuss what he thinks is the issue and why. For my most recent issue, I was convinced a more involved repair was necessary, but during diagnosis he found it wasn't necessary and fixed the issue in a much shorter time and with much lower cost than I expected! The prices are also very reasonable.In summary, Ed is a straight shooter who is more interested in fixing cars than charging exorbitant prices and I leave his shop knowing that my issue is fixed and I didn't get ripped off for it. I can't say the same about other repair shops in town.

Ed is AMAZING! He worked super hard on my car to make sure it drove as smooth as butter and it does. It is back to brand new. Replaced the hybrid on my 07 Prius at 200,000 and drives without any issues now!! Also did an amazing job on the alignment. Will definitely be coming back to him for my services :)

I've found my mechanic in Champaign. I took my Toyota Prius here for a weird brake issue; owner Ed and mechanic Zane figured it out right away and fixed it same day for a very reasonable price, and also replaced my tire pressure sensor. Ed explained everything very clearly and I never felt like I was being sold a bridge (like I have at Napleton Toyota -- don't go there). Nice guys, too. I found out they do oil changes at a reasonable price as well, so I plan on coming back for that when I'm due, mainly so that I can have a reason to have my car looked at periodically by Ed and his team. This is absolutely the best shop around for Mercedes-Benz service! I had a domino effect of car issues and driving an import, there weren't many options in town. My insurance adjustor suggested I take a look at Pro Auto Fix. Working with Ed was amazing, he really made me feel taken care of. He showed and explained to me what was going on with my car, what they were going to do... He was very upfront about pricing and what my options were. For all the reasons that people get nervous working with mechanics, absolutely none of that was an issue here. He was honest, communicative, friendly and worked with me on pricing. What more could you ask for? 100% recommend.

Pro Auto Fix is hands down the best mechanic shop around. You can tell Ed truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his shop. I came in for a clutch replacement and was scheduled very quickly for a great price where Ed explained all the charges. While changing my clutch he found multiple cracks in my engine subcarrier frame (could result in losing control of the vehicle) and got a used part for $400 less the original and even came in on Saturday to finish the job for me! If you a mechanic who you can trust and does work for a great price come to my guy Ed!!Service: Transmission

I really appreciate the service from Anwar. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I got oil change and tire change from the shop. The process is very transparent, and he will go though the parts selection process with the customer together to get the most suitable and reliable parts at reasonable price. He will also get the best parts possible, for example I got a set of tires with very fresh rubber. The new tires and synthetic oil work great under winter weather. Additional services I received include programming the key and having minor repairs of the car. I loved Ed and everyone that worked on my car. They found out what the issue was within an hour, made sure I could get the best price and did the work in under a day! I would recommend this place to anyone that needs their car fixed. Pro Auto Fix is hands down the best mechanic shop In Champaign. I have a Audi that was having some problems and I had took it to other mechanics in town No one could find the problem let along fix it and after months of my car being in and out of the shop I was about to throw in the towel. But I run across pro auto fix and seen that they specialize in foreign car. So I decided to give them a try. Ed was so professional and did a great job with explaining to me exactly what was wrong with my car . He literally went the extra mile for me and my car to find the real cause to why my car was having problems and I really appreciate that. Ed was able to find the problem and fix it. My car is currently doing so much better now. Ed really takes pride and his business and providing the best service possible to his customers.He takes his time when working on your car and you can tell that he really cares. They are very professional, friendly, thoughtful, and transparent on the pricing. Explained what the problem was with my car, and fixed the problem left by the other shop who do not know how to do their job. The car drives much smoother now. Anwar is the best mechanic in this town. He has been very friendly and honest especially with international students; and he is very knowledgeable with fixing cars. One day a lot of lights on the dashboard of my car were on and the D light was flashing, I though it was a transmission problem and took it to a mechanic but they cannot figure out the problem. I then took the car to the dealer but they asked for nearly 2000 dollars. Anwar was able to fix it at a much decent costs. Highly recommended.

Dropped off '08 BMW X3 for oil change and issues with intermittent no-crank issue for diagnostic. Our vehicle also had a rattle in the exhaust. Ed looked at the vehicle and fixed both issues and the oil change at a cost less than what I expected. Great value and excellent service. Anwar is the most friendly and helpful mechanic I know. Other than being a decent, fun and honest person, he really knows his job. He s always fixed my car with much less than the quotes I ve received elsewhere. Can t recommend him enough!

You know this is a great place when the owner is very committed in getting your car repaired and will stay to make sure the fix works. Anwar did a great job repairing my daughters nissan xterra. He also located a few other issues and had them repaired timely and within budget. As a parent of a U of I student and being from TX, it has been a challenge locating a local shop/mechanic in the Champaign/Urbana area that I trust. I found Anwar to be honest, friendly and knowledgeable. He fixes vehicle's right the first time. I would recommend him highly. Thanks, Anwar for the great service.

Anwar is best mechanic,especially for Mercedes,Porsche. I have been dealing with him for many years and he always does the job perfectly. He is probably the best trained technician in this part of the State. Do not hesitate working with him.

Enwar has saved me from buying a bad used car. I highly recommend his service. He is efficient and knows the history of vehicles and what is most likely wrong with them. I would not trust any other service in town for expensive vehicles as all vehicles are stored in-doors during service.

I am an auto transport company in Miami, FL and I always love to hear from Anwar when he calls me. I don t know him personally but just from working with him a few times, I notice he always goes above and beyond for his customers. I ship cars for customers of his and he makes it a point to give them great service. One of the most generous people I ever met. Definitely will recommend his work to anyone in need of car care. Got an oil change there a couple of month ago, also received a discount on it with the synthetic oil 'dexos'. It seems pretty good and the engine becomes quieter compared to the previous basic oils. Additionally, the owner is nice and serious to the cars.
