This was my second visit to Myler, and I'm extremely happy with their service! They saved me over $700 on some front end repairs compared to a local dealer, and this time they repaired an overheating problem on a different car. They are friendly and do a fantastic job!

Broke down on a Sunday night. Got a room and left a message. Was waiting the next morning for the shop to open at 7:30am and my phone rings. It was the shop lady asking how they could help. Myers got me back on the road and home. (On vacation 5 hours from home) Stop scrolling your phone for other shops and call Mylers Automotive Repair. 2 wheel bearings. Labor time was reasonable and price was comparable to my local shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Alex and his team are tremendous. Even though they were booked out for several days, when I told him what happened and we were leaving for vacation he squeezed us in and we were ready to go before the end of the day. Much appreciated! Alex s team is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them for your ONLY shop to take care of your ride.Thank you.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

My car died and I had to have AAA tow it to the place while they were closed. They were super booked but still got my car in within a timely manner. Tried the least expensive options for troubleshooting it first and was very honest in what was going on. They could have charged me a fortune but ended up being less than 300 and I got an oil change and a new headlight. Highly recommend.

I was driving from Connecticut to LA and was stopping in Champaign to visit a friend. I told him I thought I had a bad wheel bearing and he set me up with Myler. Alex got my VIN and overnighted a bearing. I was so impressed with how he diagnosed my issue. I had just rotated tires and the issue turned out to be tire noise. I was expecting to pay around $150 but I only got charged $50. Please use this shop they are very sharp and won t take advantage of you.

I am so grateful to Myler and Linda for their assistance. We were driving through IL on our way home to GA when something (muffler?) flew off the car in front of us and we were forced to run it over. A few minutes later, we found ourself stranded on the side of the road over a huge puddle of transmission fluid. Having NO idea where to get towed to, we called Myler and spoke with Linda, who was incredibly helpful. She even recommended tow places for us, and after we told her which one the insurance had called for us, she spoke with her contacts there to arrange a speedy pickup. Our van was examined immediately upon arrival, while it was still on the truck and parts were ordered. We were pleased that parts arrived the next morning and we were back on our way by the next afternoon. Linda was so helpful while we were flustered, and even gave us her personal cell number so we could check in on progress. She also made sure to give us warranty info on the parts since she knew we weren't local. If we were local, I would definitely use Myler again!

I am very selective of 5-Star reviews but this place earns it!Myler Automotive is the only place I take my vehicles to. They have always been honest and open in the communication. Nobody likes to hear when there are major repairs required but it happens. Here I do not ever worry they are trying to over charge. On a few occasions, I've taken my car here expecting a large bill only to find out it was a very minor repair. If possible I would definitely recommend calling to make a reservation but if that is not possible, make arrangements to get your vehicle there and they will get to it as quickly as they can.

We had my brother's tow dolly towed to Myler Automotive on a Sunday. The next morning they told us they didn't do tires but they referred us to a tire shop then helped with installing the tire once we had it. They were professional and didn't charge us since we were traveling. Recommend them highly.

This used to be a 5 star review but their communication has deteriorated. Don't waste your time here. I've since switched to taking my car to the dealership. It's quicker and the communication is much better. And the majority of the time, the price is comparable or even slightly less the past couple times I had work done because they know how to complete the job quicker.

I live in Chicago, but I was visiting a friend in Champaign when my passenger side window decided it never wanted to roll up again. This happened around 9pm (of course), so my car spent the night with a garbage bag where the window should have been. The next day was the day before New Years Eve, and my friend called a few places in town to see if they could help me. No one but Lindy was willing! Mind you, this was same day service and super last minute, yet Lindy was happy to take my car, get the window rolled up (so I didn't get snowed on driving back to Chicago), AND disconnect the wiring (so I didn't accidentally roll it down again before seeing my mechanic back home). She was also willing to fix the window itself, but I decided to just take the car as is. What's my point? Clearly, Lindy doesn't just care about your car, she also cares about you! Top notch service, would definitely recommend. :DService: Electrical

Lindy and her team at Myler is the only shop I take our fleet of vehicles. She is honest, dependable, and always kind. Our boots on the ground would not be humming along so well without them. I am writing this review to complement on the trustworthy work they performed. I came to this shop to replace several brake parts as was recommended by the dealership for my foreign made car. I was advised to have an inspection first to verify this plan. My car was checked on the same day and nothing wrong was detected that needed to be changed to drive safely. They addressed all of my concerns in detail. I would not hesitate to recommend this auto shop for their services. I believe they have a good work ethic.

I have to leave a bad review about Myler's and I cannot recommend anyone to go there. This is the first time I went there and will be the last. I read someone else's review that was done 3 months ago and they said they were not charged for a diagnostic fee, so I question why they charged me 1 hour of labor for looking to see what was wrong, which was about $90. What happened was that the rear drive shaft came off, which then leaked all the transmission fluid out. So, the lady quoted me $1,960.89. I read another Google review that said they got charged $160 to replace a power steering pump, when other shops quoted $1,400 for the same job, and I know that is a multi hour job even for a pro. So the $1,960 broke down to $1,493.48 for the a new rear drive shaft and probably 5 quarts of trans. fluid and the rest labor and tax. They said nothing at all about changing the trans. oil filter, and this needs to be done when trans. oil is changed. I could probably have requested to have them do it, at another wildly marked up price probably, but seeing as they see themselves worth $90/hr., they should have known to at least talk about it during a trans. fluid fill. So the fluid I count that I can buy myself at $5/qt. 5 is $25 and a new rear drive shaft for my model is $214.75 shipped free to my house. So their markup is between 6-7 times the cost of a part. I can't comment on their work because I did not elect to pay their extravagantly marked up price. But after getting the vehicle back, I examined the exterior and there was transmission oil all over the driver and passenger doors, which looked like someone's hand smears. Also, the driver door had been banged really hard like on another car because there is a gouge of paint on the edge of the driver door missing along with other scratches on the side panels that were not there before taking it there. I know this because I'm very particular about knowing the status of what scratches are in which places and I know that these are new damaged areas.

The reason I give this bad review is because they nearly charged me $1000 for a brake repair for my car which is valued within the same ball park. Since my car was towed by AAA to this shop and had no prior experience repairing the car, I didn t have qualms with the tow driver driving it to Mylers. The lady behind the counter comes off as rude and was like 1000 is reasonable for all the work which is needed and not to trust others... a simple google search showed me that the parts required don t come even close to 1000 even when doubled. I thought this was sketchy and had it towed to another shop nearby. They gave me the same exact diagnosis and charged me 600.Even with the additional fees of having it towed from Myler to the new shop, and the additional diagnosis charges by Myler, it is still more than 250 cheaper!! I feel cheated and lied to.. super not cool :(Service: Brakes

Very appreciative of free diagnosis and quote. Decided to have repair completed here for much lower price than other local repair shops I've done business with. Staff was very professional and courteous. I was able to speak on the phone with the mechanic who worked on my car to know exactly what they did.

I dropped off my truck to have a battery drain diagnosed. They found it and traced it back to an alternator that i installed 6 months prior. I can tell you from experience that finding that is an arduous process. Not only did they find it, but they offered to get it warranteed and replaced from the parts place that i bought it from. What a way to impress a first time customer. Way to go. That kind of diagnostic work and customer service is a rarity today. A1!

Broke down and stranded, we called Myler as they had high reviews. The man we talked to was arrogant and would not make an appointment to look at our car. He told us it would be two weeks! We had AAA tow our car to another high rated repair shop who quickly and courtiously took care of us.

I had my car towed in after noticing a fuel leak. They were welcoming and said they were busy but could take it in, but didn't say when they would look at it when I asked. (Didn't have much of a choice so I left with the intent to check back.)I called a week and 2 weeks later, each time only being told they would get to it as soon as they could, no estimate when asked. Week 3 I called (ready to have my car towed somewhere else at this point) and the man said he would check where I was on the schedule, then said I'd know the fix by that afternoon. Sure enough once they looked into it they could make the repair and I drove off the lot by the end of the day.The service itself was fast and the lady was apologetic when I went in, but the lack of information during the wait was not helpful. I would recommend them for scheduled servicing and less so for sudden repairs (even minor).

I had really messed my car up due to a lack of maintenence. I had taken it to 3 other places before finally finding Myler. They were easily the best repair shop I've ever been to; when I got there I was assured that whatever the problem was, they would find it and I wouldn't be sent somewhere else as I had previously. They discovered the problem quickly and even had a technician explain everything to me.When I got my car back after the entire turbo being replaced I was amazed. My car is perfect again and even though it was my own fault they treated me with the upmost respect. Will recommend them to everyone and my friend and I would never go anywhere else!Thank you Myler Auto!

First, I'm posting this on my fianc's Google account since I do not have one but I had to post a review for this business. The power steering went out on our van. We took it in to another repair shop and were quoted $900.00 - $1400.00. As a young couple we don't have access to that kind of money. We decided to take it in to Myler and get a second opinion. They completed the repairs for $160 and gave me a discount since I was a first time client. Needless to say we were. We now have two working cars and don't have to struggle to get to work and school every day. They could have told us we needed a slew of other repairs and we would have believed them, but instead they just fixed what needed to be fixed and got my van up and running.Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, I will be bringing my vehicles there for any problems in the future.
