Was passing through town with my job and my jeep wouldn t crank at hotel. Had a great experience with being towed and their prices can t be beat!! The driver was awesome, super nice and very knowledgeable of his job. Tried to jump my jeep off so I didn t need to be towed to the shop but battery and starter was dead. I highly recommend this company and they are super professional!! 10 stars!!

Needed my car towed to the shop from my house they had been really busy because of ice storm the day before but they was fast and extremely friendly. And at a decent price. I will definitely keep them in mind if I ever need another tow. Fantastic job Don's!!!

I had to go clean my car out, that was totaled and headed for the scrap yard. The guys that let me into the impound yard didn't hesitate to help me when I couldn't get into my trunk where I had important documents that I couldn't leave behind. Very thankful that they were so helpful during my very stressful time!

The sweetest person ever helped me unlock my car to get my keys just now it s late and I had to go pick my son up from school but he got it done so quickly and easily !!! I appreciate him so much !! @BRANDY

TLDR: If you have the misfortune of being towed by them, they will *probably* sign away liability on your behalf and treat you like an idiot for their mistake. They will also not give you copies of documents you sign.Had my car towed for parking in my friend's spot. The lady on the phone said the city called it in and it's none of their business. Fine. She was rather patronizing, but I'm sure they deal with a lot of crazies - again, fine. I take an Uber and show up 10 minutes after. I keep my cool because I understand that they're just doing business; if not them, the city would've contacted one of the other towing companies in town to get it either way. I get it - fine - I just want my car back. I show up and tell them I'm there to pick up my car. The lady keeps up the same tone as before, even though I've been nothing but polite. Again, I get it - I'm sure they get a lot of crazies in the door.Here's where it gets a little sus. They tell me to fill out a slip with my personal information at the top. I notice at the bottom there is an agreement that relieves them of all liability from damage caused by the tow. I only fill out the top with my information. I can only imagine they turn around and sign/check the affidavit on my behalf. I wouldn't know because I did not get a copy. Then they ask me to sign a folded piece of paper. I examine the paper and go to unfold it, at which point the woman and the man behind the counter start yelling and hollering telling me I'm not supposed to do that. That the paper is supposed to go to the police station, like I'm some imbecile. How would I have known? You didn't tell me not to open it. If I'm signing something you best believe I'm reading the entire paper A heads up next time would be nice lol.The guy that opened the gate for me seemed super chill. 5/5 for him.All in all, according to the paperwork, the car was towed at 12:25pm and I picked it up around 1:30pm. I paid $230 for the privilege, including a cut to the city. All I got was a lousy credit card transaction receipt from their Square card reader for the endeavor; no other receipts or paperwork. 1/5 - Would consider getting towed again.

I luckily didn't end up getting a tow, but this service was still spectacular!I believe, Brandy, the receptionist on the phone was super kind and helpful in finding a tire place for me. Then when the driver (unfortunately I forgot his name) came to pick up my car he assured me that it was actually safe to drive to the shop and tow was not needed. He was really friendly and upbeat! I appreciate that both Brandy and the driver were looking out for my well-being and wallet!! I can only imagine their service continues to be great when you actually need a tow :)

Battery died while we were out shopping. Called Don s and they came to give me a jump in less than 10 minutes. John was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Could not have asked for better service. 5 start review.

Parking can be a mine field around the UIUC campus and I was devastated to be towed after learning my parking spot was double leased by Green Street Realty. However, the attitudes of those working at the company were helpful and positive.I was towed by Reynolds once and they were rude by comparison, asking "Are we done here?" when I tried to ask questions about the retrieval process.Service: Car towing

My daughter had a flat at U of I and we called Don s. They were awesome from the time we first called for help. They offered assistance changing the tire or towing. Helping with the situation was more important to them than making the most money. Don s came out on time and reminded my daughter that she had run flat tires. It is not often you give five stars to the guy that towed your car from it's illegal parking space in campus town in Champaign. We did not know it was illegal when we parked but that is how it goes. Super service, very friendly. Never had an experience like this from all of my towed work trucks in Chicago!

I'd give 10 stars if I could! Brandy was absolutely amazing at helping me get to a shop for help and even helped me find a place to get the right tire. Super personable and made me feel much better about the whole situation. Had to get a tow today I always dread as a girl waiting in the dark in places I m not familiar with but John was there very quick to help me. He came and picked me and my car up and dropped us off at home safely he went as far as pushing my car in my assigned parking spot since my little parking lot was too big for the truck. He was exceptional! And so kind!5 stars doesn t justify the service I had tonight. Thank you so much John!Service: Car towing

I called from out of town to have my dump truck towed 50 miles back home. They were super friendly and I had my truck home right away! The tow operator was very kind and gave me updates on when the truck would be home. Offered the guy a $40.00 tip, he politely declined in exchange for a leaving a review. Cannot say enough good things about this team. They winched me out of delicate situation. Needed a tow to the shop thought my starter went out. Brandy came to the rescue. He got here, I told him what was wrong he popped the hood and said the starter and alternator were fine just didn't have enough voltage and I needed a new battery. Thank you so much for saving the day and a big bill at the mechanic. I highly recommend Don's and Brandy.

Very friendly staff at Dons Towing- Brandy is the best! Headed to work one morning, started having some car issues. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it to work or break down in the middle of Green Street. Made the call and Brandy was on standby. Very personable, respectful and always willing to help.

Today I called this tow company to assist my son and I . It was rather emotional since this vehicle which meant so much to him was off to a recycle center!!!! The driver was timely and compassionate he allowed my son a few extra minutes to take his plates off and take time to give the car a final search!!!!! An AMAZING group!!! We ran into trouble as we drove through some pretty bad storms. When we called, a kind lady answered almost immediately and Brandy came to our rescue! He was the epitome of a kind gentleman. He was quick to aid us while using the upmost care with our vehicle. After, Brandy also followed us a bit to make sure our vehicle didn't have any issues and that we would be safe as we continued our trip home. Brandy is a gentleman who DEFINITELY knows his craft! From the time he arrived until he drove off, his professionaism, his kindness.. Brandy & Don's Towing, THANK YOU! As we sat and prayed, knowing the Lord knew our situation way before we did, Don's Towing and Brandy, you were His gracious and faithful provision. We are so grateful!!

I have had the misfortune of having to have my battery jumped several times in the past few weeks and every time Don's Towing has been on the spot. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes and their employees are always polite and professional. Brandy was especially knowledgeable this morning. And they are significantly cheaper than the big name Towing companies in town. I highly recommend them and won't go anywhere else.Service: Battery service
