If you re looking for a miracle, here s your place. Charlie and the guys really saved my life this summer, by repairing my car. I was quoted 6-10k through my insurance and other repair shops throughout the CU area, many not accepting credit card as a form of payment. Not only do they accept major credit cards with little to know percentage fee, they also charged a little over a third of what I was being quoted prior to. Even with a mishap in pieces and inflation, Charlie stayed true to his quote and diligently worked to seamlessly repair my vehicle. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend these guys, they were extremely personable and professional. & I truly appreciate their services.

Charlie is the best! I got rear ended (and she hit me twice!!) and had the back of my car totally smashed up. He was so nice and willing to work with me to get the best prices on parts. Being a college aged woman, you hear so often of us getting taken advantage of by auto shops. But Charlie did a stellar job and was so nice and kept me in the loop during the whole process. After I got my car fixed, the battery died and he had one of his workers come out to help me jump it.This was right when Covid-19 started and stores were running out of food and supplies and he even offered to help me out with groceries if needed.Truly one of the best mechanics/people I ve had the pleasure of meeting.

Charlie Seibert has one of the few places in Champaign-Urbana willing to repair minor to moderate rust damage. Repaired a rusted thru rear quarter panel dog-leg as well as rust damage to interior lower door panels and a door jamb on a 2005 LeSabre Limited I'm restoring. The repaired areas have no visible imperfections and are "like new", the paint match with factory finish is perfect. Quality work at a resonable price, repairs made in the amount of time provided with Charlie's estimate. Highly recommended.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had to get my front bumper fixed. Went to so many auto body shop around town and all of them said that I need new replacements, but central Illinois was honest and said that they can just fix it. So now I don't have to spend so much. The fix was quick too.

Charlie was super up-front and friendly with the steps and cost. Did an amazing job with the car. Was quick and analytical about what needed to be fixed, and even took steps to make it cheaper than the original estimate. Charlie has been here for more than 20 years and I would definitely recommend his shop to everyone in CU area who owns a car. Honest business, top-quality job and fair price. If you know cars well, that's the place to go since they will tailored to your need, not like some other places that always try to rip you off.~5 years ago I brought my Subaru in for a fender & door replacement. Charlie charged around ~30% below other places and the paint job was top quality and it still shines. Recently I revisited to get my side skirt reinstalled before I move to NC. Great job as usual and took me only half day to get my car back. I'm sure I will miss him a lot.Services: Transmission, Body & Trim

I got my vehicle's bodywork done here after a collision. Charlie helped me out immediately, looking for replacement parts online, etc, and the appointment was set within 15-20 minutes with a set price.I was highly satisfied doing business here and they did a really good job. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a trustworthy, caring business to get work done on your car.Thanks again Charlie and all the other great people on your team.

Would definitely recommend Charlie and his team. He is a straight shooter and they do great work. I've had them fix two different bumper repairs over the past few years and have been pleased with both. Dropped off our car for a bumper replacement and to get a huge dent fixed in the rear fender. Great quality job was done and my car doesn't look like it's been in an accident at all! They give you honest and fair prices with no markups or overcharging you with unnecessary replacement of parts. Thank you Charlie for a job well done and I'll stop by in the future if I need any sort of bodywork/repaint done.

I came to get my fender fixed after my parked car was hit by someone reversing. Charlie was awesome with explaining everything to me, someone who doesn t know much about cars. He also made sure to get the car done as quickly as possible so I wouldn t have to spend a longer time in the rental. He was helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Will definitely be going back if needed!

Great work, friendly people! They got the work done in half the time they quoted me. They repaired my trunk lid and rear bumper after a rear-end collision. Fixed for a reasonable price. Charlie had great customer service!

One of the best shops to take your vehicle too. My husband and I had some nasty damage on our Dodge Caliber from an accident and we got a fair priced estimate for repairs. Charlie is just wonderful to work with, such a good person. The work he did was amazing! The car looks brand new, you can't tell the door was pretty much crushed in. Hands down the best customer service and work. If we ever have anything else we need done, Charlie will be the man we see. I will be referring friends and family to this shop.

Charlie was an immense help after my door was hit hard and couldn't be opened. Went in to get it checked out and immediately he started helping me find a new door. He was determined to fix the door to the best of his ability and he did an amazing job. My door opens again and everything is perfect. I highly recommend him for any problems your car is having!

I came here twice and I received good service both times.1. They fixed my broken bumper and scratches perfectly and charged me the least compared to the estimates I got from three different auto shops2. They changed out my signal light for free because it was an easy fixMost importantly I found them to be providing excellent services and being honest with their prices. I'm happy I found this place. I will be retuning again.

Stumbled upon this place after making a rookie mistake and scratching the side of my Rav4 pretty good. Charlie is second to none, the man is a walking wizard. After getting estimates from ServiceKing and some other shop in Chicago, I went to Central Illinois Autobody and Charlie(owner) literally cut the price down to a third of my previous estimates. Like I said, the guy is a wizard. Furthermore, I needed the car done within 72 hours and to my surprise he got it done in 48 which is remarkable as paint takes time to dry! Definitely do not hesitate to come here and definitely do not waste your money elsewhere!

Called for an estimate on body repair. I understood that I wouldn t be able to get any actual pricing but was just looking for ballpark numbers. The person on the phone said it was a dollar and then told me I was wasting their time and my time because they couldn t give any estimate without seeing the vehicle first. I understand for an actual pricing you would need to see the vehicle but for ballpark numbers you can give me a range. The person I spoke with was very abrasive over the phone.Edit: Every response I have read including his newest just confirms my review. I can t speak to the quality of work, but the combative and flat rude attitude is enough for me to look elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I am not from the area, but I was involved in an accident in Champaign. Charlie was extremely friendly, very caring, and went above and beyond to take great care of me. My car also looks awesome! They kept me informed throughout the process. Also, they got things done in a very timely manner. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone that needs repairs. Charlie is great!

If you are in search of a reputable, trustworthy place to have body work or car/truck repairs you have found it! CIA has a well deserved 5 star rating. I have had both body repairs and and mechanical repairs. CIA repairs have always been perfect.Charlie and his staff are personable and explain all aspects of the repairs. It is hard to find a repair facility that takes pride in every repair they do. Don't make a mistake, take you car or truck to CIA.

This place is awesome! took my car in and had a slight idea of what was wrong with it. they looked it over and broke everything down to my terms and fixed the problem. they do amazing work and I was referred by a friend. the price was very reasonable and as a single mom that is a huge plus! they are honest and they actually care for the customer and making sure they are satisfied and happy with the job. if I ever need work done to my car in the future I will be taking here and only here!

I had scratched the lower right front of my bumper and took it here for an estimate and repair. They were very friendly, gave me a fair estimate, and fixed it in a very timely matter.Very impressed with this body shop and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I dropped by at the shop today to install the front license plate. The gentleman (I forgot to get his name) was really nice in explaining to me what needed to be done. I thought I might have to get the license bracket but he said it wouldn't be necessary and drilled the holes in the front bumper for no cost at all! Thank you again! I definitely recommend this shop to anybody who needs car body services.

Was pricing a repaint on my car, they were given the year, model and current color to help them give a quote. They replied much like a teenage running something out of their garage would say. They are not professional and obviously do not care. There are hundreds of places to get a car repainted, I've gotten 4 quotes so far so I don't know what makes them so special. Do yourself a favor and pick a different body shop, there are a ton within the radius of this shop.

Went there to replace my windshield, back lights, and interior cleaning. They gave me a good price and threw in new carpets for the car. They are also nice people to deal with, and seem to care about the work they do. I would come again.

Charlie and his team were awesome! Charlie drove to south Missouri to get suspension components for my car and it looks brand new and drives that way too! Great place to take your car after an accident. Went here based on positive reviews that I read online. Scheduled an appointment to take my car in to repair a side view mirror and driver side quarterpanel. When I dropped off my car, they gave me a ride back home so I didn't have to take the bus. They only took a day to finish, but I also had them take care of a water leak that has been going on for a long time. The stuff they worked on looks like new and no more water leak! These guys are great and I will take my car here for any future bodywork.

I've been going to Central Illinois Body for various body and mechanical repairs for around 10 years. Both Charlie and Dustin are fantastic. They are experts at what they do and are honest. You get good service and value for your money

The best auto body shop in Champaign-Urbana and probably Central IL. I took my sedan there after a curb hit and they replaced a wheel and salvaged a suspension assembly for a reasonable price. The work was perfect and the turnaround was quick as well.Charlie and the rest of the guys here are top notch mechanics and they're always honest and down to earth. Highly recommended.
