Had an appointment here. I showed up five to ten minutes early (before 10:30). The OPEN light was on and blinking, but the door was locked and no one was there. I called to try to get to the bottom of it but you have to go through customer service instead of getting to the actual building. They were supposed to call me back when they figured out what was going on. I waited fifteen to twenty minutes before I just called back and canceled because no one got back to me. So I'm not really sure what happened, but I definitely had a weird/poor experience.

I called a made an appointment for my oil change. Two days later when I arrived. The car-x had no record of my appointment. I had to sit in the car and wait for a filter to be ordered. As the car was being driven around I asked the front desk person to ask if I could grab something out of my car before they started. She instead took a call and left me standing at the desk for several minutes. She then Said oh well you re too late the cars on the lift. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for a $150 oil change! I had to walk to a drug store to get some Tylenol because I couldn t get it out of my car.

We went to car-x to replace our brakes. They replaced brake pads and rotors. When we picked up the car, it was not drivable. The back wheels got hot and smelly. We went back to car-x, they said it needed to be taken out of the service mode. They told us that the car was fine and safe to drive. The next day, we drove about 100 miles and the same thing happened. We went back to car-x and they said it was the master cylinder and blamed it on the age of the car (which was 5). They told us to go to a dealership, so we did. A technician at the dealership told us the vehicle was not safe to drive and the whole brake system needed to be redone, including brakes, rotors, calipers. In short, three visits to car-x, no apology or explanation, lots of stress.

Shop messed up tire alignment, leading to fully balled out right front tire at 5000 miles with the three other tires having normal wear patterns resulting in my needing a full new set.Shop refused to re-align without charging me full price again, in spite of alignment having taken place less than a year and 5000 miles ago.Front desk made every attempt to excuse the shop instead of working with me to fix this problem. I highly advise avoiding this shop.I called the customer service number listed below. It sent me straight to a voice mail. These people are no good, avoid them.Service: Tires

Paid over $900 in brake repairs to have my vehicle given back to me in an undrivable condition. They didn t notice the brake line had burst or that the brake fluid reservoir was empty. They also tried to charge my wife $3000 for work that didn t need done because they misdiagnosed the issue.

I visited the facility couple of times, the manager Stephanie is has an amazing personality. She is very friendly and does care about her clients. Her PR skills are top notch. She communicates with her clients very positively and delivers an A+ service to them every time.

We where in Champaign today. My Sons front undercarriage broke was dragging. Managed to get over to CarX. And before you know it back to shopping. Awesome quick fix. Didn't charge us a fortune. Super nice people. Thank you

I was there for a quick check. I hit something at night when I cross a parking lot and after that the bottom cover was broken and touch the ground. I hope it can be a quick fix and I need hit the road that day. I walked in the store and they told me they have full schedule. But the guy at the front willing to help with out fit me in the schedule. It's done in ten minutes. Fixed and quickly. I can now hit the road. Highly recommend this store and definitely come back for an oil change in the future.

These folks on Bradley in Champaign are awesome. They took my car just before close one day because I had a tire problem. They fixed it, gave me some good advice for the future, and then didn t charge me because they felt it was so minor. Good people, very communicative.

Got an oil change and my lower engine cover came off on the highway because they didn t put the bolts backEdit: they put it back up but stillEdit2: Also they didn t screw the oil plug back on all the way because now there s oil spots where there wasn t on a car with 30,000 miles3: so fed up, I went and bought a jack and they hadn t even Hand tightened the oil plug or the oil filter. was still turning in my handService: Oil change

Such great service here. I ordered some wheels and winter tires from Tire Rack, and they shipped directly to the shop. It was easy to call and schedule once they arrived and the service was quick and super friendly and accommodating. They even held onto two of my summer wheels overnight because I had forgotten to unload my trunk and they couldn't all fit. I went in the next day and they loaded them within five minutes and I was on my way. Justin and Lawrence (I think, sorry if I remembered wrong!) were so kind and kept me updated the whole thime they were putting the tires on and made sure I knew everything about the process. Highly recommend!

Pulled up for some air today the guy at the front desk body language you can tell he didn t want to be bothered got the air tip the worker 2 bucks cause it s kind of cold out while the manager supervised him airing up some tires he knocks on my window told me it s going to cost me 3 dollars and I can pay inside and I was playing on buying some tires from them this week Thanks

Amazing team here! Went to fill my tire and the entire pin shot out. After only 1 block I was driving on my rims. Called CarX who was down the street. THANK GOD THEY WERE OPENED!!!! They were reasonable and actually managed to salvage my tire. We both agreed due to the threading on the inside of the tire, that I was best off getting a new one. They were very clear about the warranty, everything was smooth, and we were in and out in less than half an hour.The staff were great. Very friendly people, you'll feel safe and welcome there. Would recommend to new car owners.

TLDR: Everytime I've come here, the staff has been extremely professional and accommodating.This is actually my second review because they consistently do such good work. When I came in for an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation this morning the staff was friendly and welcoming as usual. After a little while a technician came and asked to show me something. He brought me into the shop and showed me that my break pads were worn. I'm not a car person and it must have been obvious because he kindly pointed out where I should look to see the wear. The technician recommended new break pads and discussed it with Cory who walked me through what what would be involved in the repair. I believe they were short staffed today, so I was surprised to hear they could do the work same day!Everytime I'm here, the staff is kind, friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my lack of auto-expertise... I have had issues with my Subaru Forrester for a while and have taken it to multiple different shops over the year. I was very pleased with Brennan and his crew for working with my schedule and to get my questions answered. I have been going to this place for 5+ years and always had a good experience.But now, there are new guys in the shop and they are terrible !! I took an appointment ( for Wheel Alignment & oil change ) in person for Thursday and, when I walk in on Thursday they tell a car is stuck on the lift and they asked me to reschedule which they could have called and informed me over the phone.I gave them benefit of doubt and I opted for Saturday morning appointment. On Saturday, the guy said it takes 1.5 hours for the service and when I returned after 1.5 hours, I see he hasn t moved my car. He says he called me 2x to confirm the estimate and I have not received any calls. I asked him to call my number right before me and the call came thru. I asked him why he didn t confirm the estimate when I came in before, he has no answer. I was the only customer present in the shop at that time.He was just lying to my face instead of apologizing. I see there is only one Mechanic in the shop and 6 cars in the 3 repair bays they have.Terrible experience!! Never going back to a CarX location. If they are this dishonest think what they would do to the cars when no one is looking !!

I had a rattling noise under my vehicle. I own a Saturn. No Saturn dealerships in the area. Stopped here hoping they could take a look and figure out what was wrong and direct me on how to get it fixed. Not only did they take it in immediately to look, I was shown what was wrong and told different options for the fix. They took care of the problem that day.I was so pleased with the service I was given that I will be switching to them for my oil changes and any future maintenance needed on my vehicle.Thank you Car-X and the man that helped me a week ago.

We have had good experiences with this CarX location for many years and have given a good review in the past. This review is different.We had tires that were 2 months old and were starting to wear faster than normal. While the vehicle was in the shop for an alignment, the tires were switched over to new tires. This was done without asking our permission; they admit it was their mistake.The local management is cooperative in terms of helping us to get a refund for the tires. However, the district manager objects, so we cannot get a refund. Does anybody have a suggestion about how to get a refund?Service: Tires

If I can give this place zero I will. Have been trying to get a refund from general manager Alan. Have been getting the run around from customer service. No one at the store picks up the phone. Call other stores they are no help. This is for my college student who I believe they are taking advantage of them. Please stay away from this company!!! This has been going on since July 12. I work in retail doesn t take this long to get a refund. Still waiting on Liz from corporate to contact me.Service: Tires

I brought my car in days ago and have them checked the coolant leak. They first ordered the wrong parts for my car, which kept me waiting for one more day. When the parts finally gets here, they opened up my car and took out the broken hose, then they called me and said they didn t know how to put it back. Because they have never done it on a BMW. They should have told me that when I brought it there days ago!! Like you don t know it s a BMW?? Why still taking it when you don t know how to do it. It s ridiculous. Waste of time
