My car battery died due to the recent cold temperatures. I called around and this was the only location able to get me same day service. After work, I got my car jumped and stopped by. They still had the battery held for me. It was installed and I was back on the road in no time.

The store was easy to find and the layout made it quick to find what I was needing. The man at the check out verified the part was correct, it wasn't so he grabbed me the correct item. Them sent out another associate to help me install it on the car. Unfortunately that associate that first walked out with me gave me the silent treatment, I'm not sure what I did to him. I apologized but still I got no response. I offered to help and got no response and then he just walked away without a word. He came back and then walked away again. He returned with another associate, and again I apologized, the new associated was kind and responded to my words. I'm not sure what was wrong with the first guy but everything else about the visit was fine.

The employees at this location are always very nice, knowledgeable, and explains your options and pricing. Most recently, Farid was able to test my car battery, find a reasonably priced new one, and replaced it all in about 15 minutes. It was an excellent experience. Will be returning!

Ladies (or anyone who might not know much about cars) don t go here and don t trust what they tell you. Always get a second opinion. Here s why:My battery died after a few weeks of freezing cold weather so I came for a trade in, and then they said that there might be an underlying issue with my alternator. Although they originally told me they could NOT test my alternator right after a new battery was put in (because it could give an incorrect result) they proceeded to do exactly that after the manager came out and whispered into the ear of the employee that was helping me. Wouldn t you know it, they said my alternator was bad and immediately tried to get me to spend over $500 on the part and a mechanic that they claimed worked there and that could replace it for me. The next day I went to O Reilys and they told me my alternator was FINE. I might not know much about cars but I know when someone is fishy.

Not happy at all replaced battery with one with a loose post in it after buying one. 2 months ago. Now my van is dead an left me unable to make money being self employed an on disability you guys got me messed up

Walked in today to find new windshield wipers not knowing anything about what I needed. I was immediately asked if I needed help. The man I talked to was very kind and got me exactly what I needed. He also helped me put them on my car when I mentioned I had no idea how. Great people!

Mike helped me out this morning with my windshield wipers. Not only did he talk me through the price/quality differences, but he also made note of a rebate opportunity when I was down to 2 choices. Mike also double-checked that the rebate would work when he noticed that it printed incorrectly. Really appreciated his attention to detail. He also went above and beyond to offer to install them for me, and walked me through the process. Thanks Mike! (Give this guy a raise)

Got break pads without rotors. I realized I needed rotors and had to go back. One in Urbana didn't have them so I had to go to another. He still have me the bundle price, saved me about $70. I appreciate it.

311 E University Ave, Champaign, IL 61820 Store CROOKS! I purchased battery 5yr warranty. was few months old. Kept going dead. Would NOT REPLACE. I Replaced Working now.**Received email from AUTO ZONE OWNER? wanting info. It's all right here. I had the Receipt, Repair shop said was battery. RURAL KING SAID BAD BATTERY. Auto zone SAID they tested was good just needed charged. Would not Honor replacing battery. I Purchased another FROM RURAL KING battery has worked fine since replacing. It has been some months since this happen I wanted be sure before writing a bad review...

I generally avoid places like this because I assume some pushy salesperson is going to try to upsell me something; this could not have been further from the truth!The guy who helped me out was laid back and knowledgeable, and when I bought the wrong part (totally my fault for thinking I knew what I needed) he refunded my purchase and made sure I got the right part that time.

Went in with battery corrosion issues. Wonderful guy named farid met me, braved the emmense heat and humidity. Helped me install a new duralast battery, thank you farid for helping get us on the road and thanks for making this battery swap more enjoayable. Everyone to here if ur having a bad day with your car, these fine folks will help set your day straight! 5 out of 5 !

Honestly these guys are pretty great! They help you out with figuring things out from your manual and do a great job at explaining the dangers of doing different things. Awesome service and chill dudes (can't remember their names)!

The "customer service " that I received from Chuck was deplorable. I went into that store at 7:30 p.m. to have my battery tested. He actually told me that it was "too dark" and "impossible." He complained about the other store sending me to this store, and the fact that he was there alone. When he finally mentioned his manager, he said she was "probably in the bathroom." He was uncouth, unprofessional, rude, and condescending. The manager had absolutely no problem testing my battery and was done in less than 3 minutes, although I had been waiting approx 20 minutes. And even though she said that she would address his behavior, I got the distinct feeling that she could care less. I will never patronize that store.

I love how they help you install bulbs and other items you buy there. In the past they've put in a battery and wiper blades for me. Canton helped me out today and was super helpful and friendly!

I had a problem and called. Chuck Mercer was the one to answer, and could not have been more helpful. I had limited information to give to solve my problem, yet Chuck was so knowledgeable he was able to research, and solve my problem! Chuck was so polite and curtious. He had nothing to gain helping solve my problem, yet he treated me with the same respect he would any customer. Thank you so much! (2002 envoy with wrong yr 2004 parts.) You are the best!

I purchased new windshield wipers and had one of the employees install them for me. I watched him replace them and he did it so quick that one of the wipers lashed back on to my windshield. I didn't realize that my windshield cracked until I drove off. I am super upset that he just walked off as if nothing went wrong. Autozone did pay for a new windshield but I've had to deal with so much BS to get it replaced.

I just had a tail light go out and the worker was very polite and promptly took me out to replace it immediately. If you re in the area and need assistance I definitely recommend you stop here!

Today, Dec 13, 2014, I was in search of some metal brake line to replace failed corroded bits in my twenty year old auto. The very moment I walked through the Autozone door, a very pleasant woman greeted me to ask how she could help. Very quickly she found the parts I needed. Back at home, the parts she had selected turned out to be exactly correct. Job done, and now the car has restored brakes. I only wish all of my auto parts shopping adventures were so professional and efficient. Highest recommendation.

Terrible customer service, 6 men didn t even ask if I needed help finding something waited 15 mins in line only for a young lady to come in and they asked her if she needed help and even checked her stuff before me in front of my eyes will not be coming back

Went in for a break light and turn signal to be replaced. Tyler helped me get it done in less than 5 minutes and then helped the another gentleman push his huge pickup truck onto a tow rig. Someone give this guy a raise!

Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The man at the register said can t you see I m on the phone . I just wanted to buy some oil, but I guess I can go to Walmart where I m anticipating unfriendly staff.
