Both Scott and Patrick were incredibly helpful and nice at this store! They got me in and out real fast, and truly made the experience great, will be coming back to this location to get my car serviced!Edit Feb 28 2024 - yet again very happy with my service at this firestone. Patrick really shows care towards customers and is very insightful. Answered all maintenance questions that I had. if I could go higher than five stars, I would gladly do that.

Amazing staff. I had gone somewhere else for a tire and needed a rim, they took one look at it and said (1) they made you pay way too much for the tire (2) you don't need a new rim- I can fix it. The team was amazing... As a young woman many mechanics treat you like a child, these guys noticed and respected the facts I knew and the questions I had. They won my patronage.

Went here from a referral from a closer by Firestone and had great experiences with both locations. Lloyd from the first place near Algonquin was very informative and then Patrick from this location by the mall/ Dundee was very kind and helpful. Service on my suv was quick and he gave additional recommendations for things regarding my car and wasn t trying to persuade me into getting anything done that wasn t absolutely necessary at this time. I will be going back to them again in a month or so for more work.

Easy to get quote for a difficult tire configuration for my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. Orderred and honored the expired coupon discount. Patrick, the manager, walked me through findings on the inspection and explained how to proceed checking out the brakes as the vehicle had sat through the winter. I have been going to this Firestone facility since 1991 and have probably bought close to a dozen sets of tires there and I have never had a disapointment!

I had left a bad review for the other store with the manger name Wayne. However the service guy Scott from this was phenomenal. I called very upset for what Wayne did to my son and Scott came to the rescue. He took my son's car and look at it found the problem and fix with no condescending towards my. Thank you Sooo much Scott for helping my kid out. He will be coming back again.

Bought set of tires today 8/1/22 and not only did manager make sure I got good price, I saw Gunther do something quite rare. Customer came in concerned about changing oil. He advised customer we used better quality oil in your vehicle and you can go extra miles. I don't know how customer took it, but I loved it! I'm oil distributor and know higher quality oils last longer, so I was happy to see manager save this customer money and time by being honest about and suggesting to come with more mileage. Most places I've worked with or have been around just sell the oil to get the few extra dollars and there's so many impacts by doing this, but most places seem to only care about selling the oil or making those few extra dollars.Service: Tires

It was great working with Patrick and Scott at Firestone. I was tasked with getting tires for my wifes SUV and Patrick made an excellent recommendation and my wife is very happy and even texted me on this snowy day to say how well the tires are working. I highly recommend this location and am very happy I chose to work with them.Services: Tires, Wheel alignmentServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE the manager there very rude and disrespectful.. They did some work to my wife s suv and the problem was still there so i called to make an appointment to have the issue fix because thats what we paid for and the manager at this location refuse to make an appointment and i understand they are busy but i was clear i told him when ever possible just call me and i ll bring it i just didnt want to live the suv for hours because we are down to 1 car.. he refused to make an appointment or to call me when ever an opening came up and told me if i didnt like it go somewhere else and hung up . He needs to go back to his original hiring date and go through training again his customer skills are by far one of the worse..

This review is a bit dated, and maybe the staff have changed here, but I got my brakes done here in 2019 and right after I got them done, they were squeaking. The mechanics could not figure out why. They said it's coming from the drums of the car. They kept putting oil on it to make the squeaking go away, but nothing happened. They even did a warranty replacement on the brakes, and nothing changed. There was also a clanking noise that developed every time I braked suddenly. It was now time for my brakes to be replaced, so I took them to Midas this time around, and they were able to fix the brakes, and there is no noise at all. The car is running very smooth now. The only reason I'm giving these guys a 3 star is because my other car's starter died, and they were able to diagnose it and fix it within reasonable time and price. They also fixed the A/C on my car. If I could only rate the brakes, I would say 0 stars, and if I could rate my other two experiences, I would say 5 and 4 stars, respectively. I thought a 3 star overall would be a fair rating since it's an average of the 3 experiences I had with them.

I was greeted by Bryan as soon as I walked in. I already knew I needed tires because the treads were low. He told me my tire options and recommended the All seasons tires. I was extremely happy that I wasn t pushed or felt like since I was a woman he tried selling me more expensive tires. I felt like he really listened to my needs, and sold me the right tires. I didn t even have ask him about your hazard warranty. He already started explaining it. I told him I was taking my kids on a road trip in a few days, and explained if anything happened with the tires any local Firestone would help. As well as another tire store that s affiliated with you. Within the first few minutes of waiting the gentleman working on my car noticed I needed an oil change and asked if I wanted one. Also while waiting I was really impressed with the way Bryan made casual conversation with me and other waiting clients. Constantly updating all of us on our cars, and asking us if we needed anything. One lady came in pretty stressed, and he suggested that instead of waiting in the store there were some stores in the mall she might like, and come back in half hour if she wanted. If clients seemed to need a visual he d walk over to standing flip board you have and explain things. He was constantly in touch with the guys in the back. While managing answering the phone and making calls to get tires sent in. Doing this all by himself. Even when it was at its most chaotic the store ran like a well oiled machine. Bryan is quite an asset. Cool under pressure. Polite with staff and clients. I ve been to other Firestone s for service and haven t seen it ran so well. I had to take his card so that I remembered to come back to this location. Thank you for making my 2 hour wait fly by & painless!

My daughter's Corolla broke down while she was out of town, and she had it towed to the nearest open shop, Firestone of Carpentersville, IL. It needed a gearshift cable, and they also put ball joints on one axle. With a final bill of nearly $1700, I took the invoice to my mechanic and discovered this: cable costs $275 retail from Toyota, and Firestone charged $561. Book time on repair is 2 hours, and they charged $362. (When I called, they claimed their book time showed 2.5 hours at an hourly rate of $140, which is still just $350.) Ball joint was similarly overpriced. To add insult to injury, the light to the gear shift no longer worked after they finished repair. Since they were so far away, I will just get that fixed by my mechanic. When my daughter told me it was at Firestone I was concerned based on previous experiences, but I didn't imagine it would be this bad.

I will not be returning to Firestone again. They tried to sell me tires I didn't need. They also lied about the oil my car needs. Be careful when taking your car here. I also had a tire rotation and now my car is pulling to the right.

Absolutely garbage service. Worst worst service ever. They charge u alot more than what is needed. I called them and asked for car heater inspection they told me $40 on call. i went dropped off the car. they billed me $145 and told me we checked the radiator as well, increased chrges are for radiator check. they just added charges by themselves. pathetic. didnt even bother to call and tell whats going on should have asked permission before inspecting radiator. they just did and or but billed me $145. plus they told me it will cost $1700 to fix just the heater. i disputed the charges with corprate office but they don't even care. will prefer to die in cold but not returning there ever.

Told me my car doesn't take standard engine oil and needs a special one that costs 4 times as much. After the service, I did some research and turns out that the reality is that they definitely could've serviced the car for standard price but chose to lie and upsell for a profit. :(

I took my car with a flat tire when I went inside and I check in I told the guy Wich one was the tire it was giving problems. I dropped my car and I went home. They call me around 1 and half and they told me my car was ready. I droved my car for three days and the problem was back again. I called them and I told them the my tired was flat again. The guy who answered the call was very rude he told me he didn't any openings until next week and he could see my car. I end up taking to another shop . The other shop were able to fix the problem and they told me this guys never do anything they charge me for nothing. In fact they over charge me . I say don't trust this guys it all

My car was leaking coolant. I brought it to Firestone because i always deal with tires plus but there isn't a location near. I know about cars but not able to fix it myself or take it apart due to being on the road for work. I was told it was the water pump. My car was diagnosed wrong. It was never the water pump. It is the head gasket. I was told there was a pressure test done but if there why was the head gasket over looked.

Why? Why did Firestone in Carpentersville, IL hire a reject from Firestone in Lake In The Hills, IL? That's exactly what they did. We brought our 2005 Toyota Highlander in just for an oil change. Several hours later, we never got a call from George, the reject employee from the Lake In The Hills Firestone. We called him and he told us to come and pick up our car. One block away from Firestone, the power steering went out and the brake light went on. Looks like George screwed around with our car again. George was trying to get back at us for leaving him a negative review from the first time he ripped us off from thousands of dollars for repairs that never needed to be done, and George even admitted to this. So, I ask again, why? Why did Firestone in Carpentersville hire George, the reject employee from the other store?

While getting my oil changed, the technician noticed a broken part in my engine. Scott took the time to show me the problem, explain my options, and get me scheduled within my very limited availability. Scott and Gunther were respectful, pleasant and all around wonderful!

Great customer service! Matt and Scott are the ones I primarily talked to, and they were an amazing help. I only went for an oil change and they did say a few other services were recommended, but they did not try to push on the upsell or anything. I highly recommend coming here for your next service. Honest and quality service.

Luis helped me and my family while it was raining outside to fill the tires on our SUV. The tpms light came on out of nowhere, and they were one of the few shops to be open on a Sunday. Six stars out of five!

This Firestone has by far the best customer service what an experience. I used to go the Algonquin and Crystal Lake location but now I live closer to this location. I called to schedule an oil change appointment. I showed up half an hour earlier and they got me right in and out. The gentleman at the front was very nice great customer service. If you live in this area or are in this dundee area stop on by at this location.

Where to start? Id give negative stars if possible!! I drop my car off at 8am as discussed the night before for an oil change and rear brake job...I don t hear back til nearly 1pm and when they finally call me they re set on selling me a lifetime alignment and 4 new tires for a total bill of $1200!! I tell them no thanks on the tires and take their word I need an alignment and wait another 5 hours til 6pm. At that point I pay my $600 bill and drive home. The next day while I m washing my car I notice mechanic chalk on my tire so as a take a closer look and find a huge nail that they circled yet failed to mention!!! How do you take the time to circle a nail and try to sell me 4 new tires with no mention of a nail!!! That s just ignorant and incompetent to allow a customer to drive out of your shop with a nail you circled after you take my $600. So a couple weeks later I m changing my wiper arm and when I pop my hood I see I m missing my master cylinder cap!! At that point I call and speak with the manager who can only repeat himself in a monotone type manner saying bring it up and I ll look at it. Look at what?? The master cylinder cap I already replaced or the circled nail in my tire you didn t say anything about?? The lack of professionalism and poor work ethics have lost a longtime customer for good! Maybe focus on the task at hand im there paying for rather than spend your time attempting to upsell me! Alert AVOID THIS LOCATION

Brought my car in for a slow leak ( bought the tires there). Was told it would be two hours. Three hours later I stopped in and it wasn't even on the lift yet. I called them after over FIVE hours and was told that they were getting ready to bring it in. I told them not to bother. I'm going elsewhere from now on. MAYBE NTB.

Great service!! I got new Primewell tires installed on my SUV. The manager was absolutely courteous and knowledgeable about the quote, installation, TPMS sensors, etc. The store itself had a good atmosphere.
