The whole crew at store 325030. In carpentersville at 2437 Randall road, we're knowledgeable and friendly, never tried to up sell, gave me Recommendations of services that maybe I should address.I already knew I probably did need. So I can tell they were checking by car over carefully. After I had work performed, I'm impressed on how great the work was done.,and they were able to work with me to make sure it was reasonably priced. I would definitely go back and I will be going back for further maintenance and car needs. And I highly recommend this store.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to this Firestone location for service and tires, for more than 12 years. They have consistently provided fast first rate service, done right the first time. They have never tried to upsell us or replace parts unnecessarily. Same thing this visit - a part that was on the original estimate was found to not need replacement and was removed from the invoice, greatly reducing the cost. They consistently earn and maintain our trust through their ethical practices. Many thanks!! Firestone tires have also been a good value for us during this time.

I came in for a blown out fuse for cigarette lighter and a patch on my tire. They didn t do anything except put on my spare tire. Charged me $30. If I knew they were going to charge me for something that easy especially since they didn t fix anything. I would ve just gone somewhere else and put the spare on myself. Will not come back again. I don t recommend this location.

I came in requesting a number of services I did not need. Rather than moving forward with the services, they advised me to wait. I consider this outstanding service! Many automotive service outlets would just do the service. I have already recommended you to my son and he is going to use you too!

Tires are not good. Over charge for services. They wanted $1400 parts and labor for services I was able to then get done somewhere else for $680 parts an labor.Was a faithful customer, but never again!!

My son went up to this place a week ago and talked to a mechanic that told him it would be 10 dollar to free to check his tire. So, my son decided to make an appt. Today when he got there he told the manger Wayne what he and his mechanic had talk about. Mr. Wayne told my son how he heard wrong and refuse to honor what his mechanic told my son. Then let my son leave on a bad Tire. Will never use this place again.

Graham was able to get me in first thing. Originally had a hole in the tire. Called several different places that couldn't cater to this matter. He went above and beyond to get me in and out. Thanks to Graham and Lloyd, I was in and out. Back on the road with the service van. Thanks for the service!

FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER GO TO FIRESTONE:This entire 8 day long ordeal was the worst experience I have ever had to deal with.I took my 2017 kia forte in to get a diagnostic for a check engine light ($120) turns out I needed a new timing chain I was quoted at $($1220) for the diagnostic and timing chain replacement, which was fine. A day later I get a call that they want to install new spark plugs and do an oil change and was told changing them would help. I was a bit annoyed the price keeps increasing but agreed to get them changed and oil swapped for an overall rate of ($1,840) Then I call on a Friday to check up on it because that s the day that they had told me the vehicle should be ready - I was told everything was installed and running but that they wanted to NOW replace the timing chain sprocket, I asked if I absolutely needed to do it because I planned on taking this car to trade into the dealership 4 miles down the road. They said that s okay and that I could pick it up and I told them to hold off on installing that part because I was at work and needed to clear some things up. 30 minutes later I get a call telling me that they absolutely will not be able to let me pick the car up until the following day because they need to install the part. I was annoyed at this point because I had already agreed to every single upsell they wanted and I was in a hurry to trade this car in. They then quoted me a total of ($2,400) which seemed absurd. I expressed my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the price and service received. I got a call within 20 minutes from the manager who then lowered the price to ($1,940) total and offered 3 free oil changes to compensate for the whole ordeal. I agreed to this price and was told it would be ready the following day, which it was. However I get to the shop and am informed of a new ticking sound that had developed while in the shop and after I paid, I get into my car to take it to the dealer and discovered the car now idles extremely hard and the ticking is so loud I can hear it over the radio at a loud volume.The ticking was not there prior to driving it to the shop and the car itself while driving was actually a whole lot smoother before I took it to Firestone. I NEVER got a business card from the manager or was offered the free oil changes I was told I would receive over the phone the day prior to picking up my now slightly fixed car - overall I paid almost $2,000 to have my car HALF repaired and pretty much in worse condition than when I brought it in. They over quoted and apparently had almost $600 worth of wiggle room which is insane.!!!!!!!!!! ****EVEN THE KIA DEALER MECHANICS TOLD ME I SHOULD TAKE MY CAR BACK TO FIRESTONE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT FIXED CORRECTLY **** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I WILL NEVER return to any Firestone location, and I will tell EVERY SINGLE person I meet to never go as well. The service was a horrible - communication was non existent - they upsell everything - TAKE ADVANTAGE of people who are in need of guidance and help - and overall can t get the job done right. UNBELIEVABLE. I will be reaching out to corporate to let them know and everyone else who reads this know I received some of the worst service ever at this location and THE JOB WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY. this was a WASTE of my hard earned money and very limited time.Absolutely made me sick to my stomach when the Kia techs told me I should bring the car back and have it serviced properly. Thanks for nothing FIRESTONE. I hope this gets read and addressed properly by upper management.THE EMPLOYEES who assisted me through all of this were STEVE and WAYNE.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR, TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY.

Horrible service and the guy named Steve made me super uncomfortable and like are time wasn t worth it. They also or overcharging us by a lot. We took our car down to another place that we re gonna do the exact same job for about $400 cheaper.don t go here

I picked up a Diehard Gold car battery at this Firestone shop to install in my Nissan Rogue by myself. When I got home, I had a little trouble getting it installed correctly. I took the battery back and Steve checked it out to make sure it was in good working order and gave me some good installation advice. I was able to install it successfully and now it works great! The store is clean and welcoming with a comfortable waiting area. And I always use the Firestone credit card, which gives same-as-cash six months payment terms for any purchase over $150.

I brought my car for inspection as I was hearing some grinding noise in the rear of my car. They were super nice and professional team. They explained and showed me the issues my car was having. Before they worked on it they explained what the job entailed and the cost. I would recommend to anyone to this establishment. Two stars because my wife swears by this place, but I think it's the location for her rather than the service. I took my car in here for brake work and they quoted an astronomical price. I collected my car and took it to Dundee Automotive and they did the same service for about 1/2 the price. Brakes have been excellent ever since.Other issue: Took my VW in here for an oil change (yes, a simple oil change) and they could not handle it, told me to take it to the dealer, which I did.They did install my tires from Tire Rack. The manager told me I could have called them, and they would have matched the price. I priced them and chose Tire Rack because the price+installation was way less. If you want to match the price, match the price, don't bump up the price and then complain when you have to install at a discount.They do put air in your tires for free, so that is nice, but so does Discount Tire, with zero attitude.

Much better experience than the Elgin location on Randall. Stephanie has a great way about her and pays attention to details. Their staff here was professional and fun. No high pressure sales to bill people for more money. This is how you expect a place to be run. I had a chat with Angelo, too. He heard my issues with the other location. He cares and wants things to be done right. I will be coming to this location from now on, even though it's further away from my home.

Made an appt for brake pads and rotors dropped car off at 730am. Didnt even look at the car til 6 hrs later. Said they can hopefully get the car done before 5 pm when they close. No thank you I'll go somewhere else. What's the point of making an appt? Definitely will not be going back there. Only gave them 2 stars because their prices are competitive

Waste of time, made appointment for my specific vehicle. After 15 minutes of waiting they told me they cannot service my vehicle because it has lane change assist safety feature and to go to the dealer.Subaru service writer manager told me he doesn't know what they are talking about. The safety system camera alignment requires special equipment.So Firestone lost my business, maybe they can learn to service modern vehicles.

I go here all the time for my company vehicle and they are always great but this last time they were swamped and so busy. I made an 8 am appointment and they told me it would be at least 2 hours before they could get to it. I understand that they may be understaffed but then why take so many appointments. Needless to say I couldn't wait and had to go. I was disappointed but this isn't always the case.

They told me I needed all new rotors, brake pads, and tires and how dangerous it is for me to drive my car. All I needed was 2 front rotors, and brake pads, which I found out from a friend mechanic. Wanted me to pay $1800 when I got 2 brand new tires last summer and brake pads.

I had a great experience at this particular Firestone. Mike really took the time to explain in detail what I needed to get done in order to get my car fixed and in the best working condition. Patrick was also very helpful as he answered any questions I had when I called to ask additional questions about my vehicle. Mike and Patrick are both great guys and definitely went the extra mile for me. I will definitely be coming back to this particular location for any of my cars needs. I will also be recommending family and friends to this Firestone location as well.

This Firestone was extremely helpful when I had a small air leak caused by nail. I had just driven into town from Michigan, so this was quite annoying. I dropped my car/keys off on a Friday evening and got a call Saturday morning that I was all patched up and ready to go. There was no charge as I bought the tires from Firestone, so that was nice. Highly recommend this location.

I am not a fan of this location... dropped off my car for an oil change and they let me know that I should anticipate that it would be completed within 90 minutes. I showed up 3.5 hours later and my car was still on the rack. Manager said... "you had a nail in the tire and we needed to fix the flat." No communication that there would be a delay and even if there had been, why would an oil change and flat fix take that long??? Won't be back.
