Nolte's is not your typical auto repair shop. They were able to diagnose and fix a very trouble some oil leak on my restored 1972 Chevy C10. I went to several other shops with no resolution. Very accommodating and professional. I have been looking for an auto repair like this and now I have found one. Mark is the best. He explains things in great detail plus no surprises with the reasonable repair fees.Service: Engine repair

Mark and his team do an excellent job with my German made vehicle. I am particularly impressed by how they handle a mistake- handled quickly and with integrity. They also honored a warranty with full repair of part at no additional cost to me. It is a great repair shop!

Mark and his team are terrific. Very thorough and prompt to complete work as promised. I highly recommend Nolte's Auto Repair if you live in the area of Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Wheaton or Winfield.

It was my first time at this shop and will not come back there. Very bad experience. Bad customer service. My car was more damaged then before I brought it to the shop. While they were working on one thing in their shop, something else broke. They didn't want to take any responsibility for it. "We didn't touch it" I heard. They didn't told me about the damage until I came pick up the car and heard unexpected noise and smoke coming up from under the hood. Per them car was fixed and good to go, to just to get paycheck. I gave them car In good driving condition but I got back undrivable piece of junk . After I paid them 1,500.00 I had to tow the car to the other mechanic. I was unable check if they fixed (as they stated) the first thing since car was undrivable. Zero responsibility from their side and offering the help. I will not recommend them to anyone. 1500.00 what I paid is not a free service. You didn't decline anything. I didn't wanted you do more additional work on my car.

Great explanations regarding work needing to be done on my car, Mark, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. I feel they have super fare prices. Love this autoshop and confidently recommend it to all.

The experience working with Mark was awesome. In addition to replacing our brakes for a very reasonable price, he took the time to run a full inspection on the car and found something that even the dealer had overlooked. Best place to go for everything and anything needed for your car. Mark is great in front office and the guys in the back have always been good to our vehicles. Just got 2! Great Work! Great Service! Mark and the guys there do great work. I've taken my cars here for years, and there is no one I trust more with my car than Nolte. They always give me an honest assessment of my car's needs, and it's upcoming needs. I highly recommend this shop!

I have been going to Nolte's for years with all my cars. I been going there since Don Owned it and back then it was an honest mechanic that cared for each individual customer and I happy that since Mark has owned and ran the shop nothing has changed... he even left the name. I have since moved to Batavia, but still bring my cars to Nolte's even though there are shops closer. For years I have been driving 40+ minutes to my long time mechanIc because I always felt I was getting ripped off by mechanics in the Carol Stream area.Went to Nolte and they did a great job at a fair price. Nolte s mechanics were wizards diagnosing and fixing our wiring after the squirrels decided to lunch a bunch on our motor. They repaired what another garage couldn t. Mark took extra time to teach and show all we needed to know. Van starts and sounds great (except brakes which we are doing later as mutually agreed). I appreciate his honesty and listening and long hours he and crew put in.

Nolte s and Mark went above and beyond what I hoped for when I brought my Jeep in to be looked at. They were incredibly thorough and explained everything in detail to me and made sure I understood everything. They made a convert out of me and I will be using them in the future for all of my auto repair needs. Even when they couldn t do one of the repairs, they made sure I knew why and left me very confident that my car was in better shape than when I dropped it off. Amazing work and dedicate staff!

As always Mark was very helpful and shows great concern for us whenever we come in for help. He gives great advice concerning our vehicle. They do what needs to be done but also alert you to potential work that may need to be done in the near future. Owner Mark really listens to my concerns. Mark and his mechanics go out of their way to check what may be causing any problems and give excellent explanations with estimates. Even when they cannot find something wrong, Mark will explain what was checked and encourages me to call them if issue continues. I am happy with the many times that I have brought my car in for any service or repair since 2018.

I m a new customer to Nolte s. Met Mark in 2021, politest gentleman ever. I trust their work, explaining the what and why s. Been honest with me. Fixed my car to allow me to travel an hour one way to visit with my first grandchild. For that I ll be forever grateful! Thanks Mark and his staff. I recommend Nolte s highly.

This first time customer will certainly be a return customer. Had to find a new, trusted mechanic after 30+ years. Nolte's was recommended to me by several family members and had a great BBB rating. Was very pleased with my first experience and found Mark to be extremely helpful. Though behind the scenes, I know the mechanic(s) who did the work did a good job just from the "feel" of my car when they were done. Was confident enough to go on a 3000+ mile road trip later that week.Thank you Nolte's Auto Repair!

I have gone to Several places in the area to get my car fix they were all disappointing none of them were honest nor did a good job. . I was browsing through google one day and came across Noltes . I brought my car in for an inspection and within a coupe of hours he knew exactly what repairs the other garages had done with sub-par parts. Noltes was honest, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I will be bringing my car back there and I highly recommend them

Over the past several months I have brought three of my cars and my mothers car in for service at Nolte's. Each and every time we have received excellent service at pretty reasonable prices. I feel that Mark is honest in his assessment of the work required and he is a pleasure to deal with.

I came to Nolte s based off the amazing reviews and they are all 100% correct in every way. The customer service was superb. Mark kept me in the loop all throughout the day. I never had to call them myself to get an update, a minor detail that goes a LONG way. He also explained every detail of the work done to my vehicle along with letting me know certain maintenance fixes weren t needed just yet like the dealership insisted. The work done was perfect and I couldn t be more pleased. I love this place! I only wish I found them sooner!
