My family rented out one of their Cabins for three nights, as my uncle was getting married in the banquet hall. Our rooms were clean and neat. Only complaints were tiny ants on the kitchen table, parking was small and on raised gravel, and the curtains in the rooms were see-through. Banquet hall and staff were phenomenal, as well as front end staff Pam and Raj, and lead maintenance man Gordon. They helped us through all of our problems and were super helpful!Rooms: Did the job, was clean and neat. Nothing fancy.

Stayed for our wedding. Reserved early.We had 7 other couples stay. Rooms were mehhh.. Zero service. Rooms smelled. Had to get our own towels. Noisy. On top of being noisy, my best man and family were woken 3x the morning after the wedding. They had been blamed and scolded for being noisy. Definitely not them! No compensation or apologies given just continued to be blamed. Owner never came to the floor to check disturbance. Will not recommend or stay again. Other family members stayed in cabins. They were ok.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. It was absolutely disgusting! Orange handprints on the wall, orange stains on the sheets, terribly stained carpet, hair on a bath towel, dirt and bugs throughout. I had the room booked for two nights but only stayed one night due to how gross it was. They refused to refund me for the night that I didn t stay. How this location gets any good reviews is beyond me.

We arrived after midnight and walked in to our room. The bathroom sink was very dirty, so we asked for another room, nicely. The next room was much worse! Toilet and bathroom floor, shower and sink all needed to be cleaned. The toilet was the worst. I don't need a fancy place to sleep, but I want it to be clean!

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The sheets had spots of blood, the walls were covered with what looked like boogers and other substances. When we brought the issue to the owners they immediately were on the defense and said that's nothing and that she does not have time to wipe walls down. They also told us "we can show you what a blood stain looks like". They never brought us clean sheets like they said they would or even offer us a different room. We packed our bags and left due to how dirty the room was and the lack of hospitality. Hope this review saves you from waisting $148 as that's what I paid to NOT sleep in a dirty room, as they would not refund me.

Great venue for a wedding I recommend the island only thing we didn't like reception started around 230 & the bar, which is cash only didn't open till 330 we weren't allowed to bring in our own beverages needles to say it got moved there second it opened

They threw away my baby bunny that I have slept with every night for the past 18 years the same day we checked out of the hotel. Some would think they would save lost items for at least a day. Don t recommend if you want to keep your most valued possessions. Also dirty there was a dorito on top of the dresser. I m sure they just cleaned around it. So thoughtful of them to leave us a free snack!

My sister in law and her soon to be husband checked in at the hotel and once they got to their room, they discovered bed bugs and mites in various areas of the room. The front office didn't go look at the room until later and told them that they were lying and wouldn't refund their money. And my sister in law also has a service dog and the hotel wouldn't allow the dog to stay because the hotel needed certification for the dog to stay there, and the law states that a public place cannot require a person to "prove" that their dog is a service dog. I do not recommend this place.

Our group had four rooms. All were ready upon arrival and immaculate. Friendly staff went above and beyond from recommendations,l and special accommodations. Highly recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE, the owners are RUDE and the place is FILTHY and the hotel smells HORRIBLE, there's also COCKROACHES and BEDBUGS!!!DO NOT STAY HEREHORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE AND WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME

I have stayed here many times with family and this hotel is always friendly and normally clean and they have a great breakfast in the morning. But the last time we stayed the cushion on the window seat bench was filthy And need to be replaced same with the chair for the desk. But the bed was clean, and everything else was fine.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend for an out of town wedding. Dropped our bags off at the hotel before hand, stayed about 5 minutes and left. When returning back to the hotel after the wedding we started undoing the beds to go to sleep. When pulling back the comforter the first thing we noticed were small red circles that looked like blood. After doing some investigating it turned out these were indications of bed bugs. One of my friends went down to the front desk to tell them that we had small blood stains on our sheets. The two hotel workers came into the room and were defensive and said that it was not blood and that they can show us what a blood stain looks like . They didn t bring us new sheets and we ended up leaving as we did not want to risk getting bed bugs or sleeping in a disgusting room. Do not stay here!!

The cabin we rented was incredibly dirty. It was obvious they hadn't really cleaned since the last people rented it. A dirty washcloth had been left in the bathroom sink and there were pubes left in the shower and on the toilet. The sponge they expected you to clean dishes with was filthy and smelled horrible. There were dark black streaks of dirt on the refrigerator and the floors felt gross to walk on. The sheets and pillow cases had yellow stains on them that i hope was just sweat. The pullout couch had stains on it and there were crumbs under the mattress. The back door didn't lock and one of the locks on the front door was broken. $200 for one night in a dirty cabin, I will never be coming back here and will caution anyone considering it to find somewhere else to stay. I wish I could upload pictures. And before you try and say this is fake I'm just the one writing the review, the person I was with was the one that booked the cabin

The restaurant was quite nice. My wife had the catfish fillers, and I had the walleye. Both were cooked perfectly. The creamy coleslaw was some of the best I've ever had. On the downside, our server was a bit overwhelmed. So much so that he forgot to turn in the order for our appetizer. Good thing. We were stuffed from our meal. Overall we were very pleased .

1st of all was that there was very little toilet paper on the roll and no backup! The place looked okay when we walked in, but we could see toothpaste stains and a tiny bug. When my wife complained, all the owner could do was to point out the great reviews he gets! He "absolutely" would not discount the room. We will never stay here again, and recommend that no one stay here.

Great for the family, good shade, lots of security. Only downfall is the environment is not the cleanest. Not filtyh but definitely will make you wash your hands as you stare at yourself in the mirror wondering who touched this sick, handles and did they leave any suprisess on the door handle? Nope it was all good there was just a fluke smell and no walls for privacy.

Stayed here for an extended weekend with family. The hotel was nasty. The rooms were dirty and smelt like mold and were extremely dirty. The children jumped in the pool and complained of the awful smell and left a slick film on their bodies. The water smelled like a mix of rotten fish and body odor. Good thing we brought our own shampoo and body soap soap as the dispensers were empty and were not refilled after asking the maid multiple times to refill them. When we asked the maid to re-clean our room after checkin due to long hairs on the floors and counters in the backroom, dust on the tables and a dirty coffee pot with mold growing in it we were told no, its clean enough. We stayed 4 days requested to cancel 3 of those days due to the condition and disrespectful staff and told we would be charged anyways. On top of everything my parents were over charged on their credit card after checking out of the hotel and are currently disputing the charges with their credit card company. I read the reviews on here and wonder how they have so many postive reviews. And for the owner to insist that all the one star negative reviews are fake is mindblowing. I wish i would have read the negative reviews and believed them. We are not the only ones that seemed to have a negative experience or be over charged. Keep an eye on your credit card after you check out.

Omg! This place was amazing! Quiet, relaxing and the in room hot tub was a welcome break from the winter weather. The check in was seamless, the clerk was very kind both on our way in and on our way out. All in all, a very good first time experience!
