Nick is the best He always takes great care vehicles. Between him & Leo they have a lifetime customer out of me. I have been going here for many years & he is one of the most honest mechanic businesses I ve been to. In this business it s hard to find that. Not only is he honest, his prices are unmatched. I ve sent so many family & friends to him that now he s their favorite automotive repair shop.

Very disappointed.i agree with the evaluation of my vehicle but on the phone with nick i was told one thing but i went to retrieve my vehicle and had to pay $278 for a diagnostic check.one of which i was charged $180 dollars for tow service.where else was my car towed to.am i to assume that i was charged $180 for my car to be towed from one spot of the repair shop to the front. All these fee i was not briefed on when i walk into the shop.had i known i would have declined there services.never again

I have a 2011 Malibu that was hit on the drive side and the car was not driving correctly anymore so I took my car to theses guys and I would like to say that I m very satisfied with there work and I will most definitely spread the word around and let friends and family know and the prices was extremely negotiable 10 star from me and I m not over exaggerating

Was suppose to get a couple things done here, a drive belt replaced, front brakes & a gasket to repair oil leak. Why would a professional do the job but do not clean afterwards. Did not replace belt nor did he clean the oil from the leak. I had to take my car to another shop to get belt replaced & cleaned. Beware!A response to the Owner I did Not ask you to disregard replacing the serpentine belt (why would I?) although I did ask you Not to replace the clock spring because you told me that it may program itself but if not that I would have to take my car to the dealership, I did exactly that! You seemed irritated/upset that I made that decision which was best for me. As far as cleaning the area where you repaired a gasket you left the oil there! How would I know this if the (BMW) dealership didn t tell me?! When I returned to your shop several times you were Not available.

Took my car here, since the beginning Nick was very informative and truthful. Told me it would be done 2-3 weeks due to ordering of parts. Each time I would call for an update he provided it. Car looks good as new ! Very friendly and funny. Would recommend and come here again.

Have been doing business with them for many years. The repairs are done correctly and honestly using quality & reliable parts. Also, repairs are done promptly and at VERY fair prices--I would say best around! When the transmission on my van was acting up, they determined a broken wire was to blame and fixed it! So glad I didn't need a new transmission!! Very Satisfied. Thanks guys!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair

!!! Beware this place will be shut down!!!! Don t Visit or get any service from this place!! This man has been harassing me for over a month now due too service he didn t not complete for my vehicle in the amount of $150, He has forge my signature on receipts to my bank, when my bank notice it was fraud they reported to me. Now I m receiving phones calls saying He s going to shoot me in my head and place a lien on my vehicle which don t make any sense!!! But just I m taking this very serious!! I never experienced nothing like this in my life. I will handle this the right way!!!First of all I m a whole female and work hard for everything I have. You re not about to threaten my life and threaten to take anything from me!! You re playing with the right one!!!! He loves to target black Women ladies be careful

These people are a godsend! I am a New York resident with roots in Indiana and I had a dent that I needed to get rid of during the holiday season. My dad recommended them because of prior work and I brought it in to see what they can do. They worked very diligently to make sure that I could still drive back to New York when I planned to. Initially, they couldn't promise it but they made it work around and I am ever so grateful for that. They even gave me the car back a day early.And the work? Impeccable. They gave me the car looking like the dent never happened. I'll still remember the dent in my mind but at least it won't be actually there. I would 100% recommend this shop! Thanks for such an amazing work and turnaround!

My daughter and I were down from Michigan and we had Nick and Leo check over a car we were interested in buying. They both were very pleasant and friendly and very helpful. They took the time to look the car over and to point out any concerns. I wish they had a garage near me. Thanks again guys!

Honestly I never write reviews on places but I gave gave them $700 to get 3 things fixed in my car when I got it back nothing was fixed. I went back to them for them to tell me something else was wrong with it and it ll cost $2000 so I might as well get a new car. They didn t charge me for that diagnostic but I spent almost $700 dollars for all 3 of the problems to still be there. Waste of time and money will not be back

Even during a pandemic River Oaks L&E Automotive, had everything nicely under control. Safety standards were very important, and I felt very at ease. They handled the repairs of my vehicle promptly and with great customer service. You should definitely stop in for all your car needs.Nick exhibits a very good knowledge of automobiles and worked with me very well to find a good solution to my automobile issues. I would definitely consider him in the future for my next repair and recommend others.

This place is great! I took my car in to get it checked out because I was hearing noises and I didn't know what it was. Nick and Leo helped me out so much. They told me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and how much it would take. When I got it back it felt like I drove off the lot from just buying it. Great job guys.

My family takes our cars here for our insurance repairs. The body shop does great work. Gets our cars looking like new every time. Just had work done on my Civic after a small fender bender and Nick did a great job. Even took care of a small section of cracking paint on my fender since he was doing painting work around the area anyway. Great service. Goes above and beyond.

I brought my SUV here for front and rear body repair. 3 weeks later when I go to pick up my vehicle, I'm told that my tail lights are no longer working, but it had nothing to do with the repairs that they made. I found that EXTREMELY coincidental and after attempting to seek more information from them, I took the car home.After driving it on the expressway some time later, I noticed a flapping/rattling sound coming from the rear of the vehicle, but could figure out where it was coming from. One day a friend who was driving behind me said that they saw something flapping underneath the car. After checking it out, I realized that 2 bolts that are supposed to secure the part of the bumper that they replaced that extends under the car were not there. The whole thing was loose and creating the noise.Additionally, the bulbs they were replaced are not the correct color and there is also a strange sound coming from the front area of the vehicle that they worked on.After having my car for almost a month, I am very annoyed and frustrated that it was not fixed properly and never will I trust them with my vehicle again.Service: Auto body & trim repair

My experience with Nick was a good one once recommended by a government agency. I truly felt in my heart I found a Excellent mechanic shop I can trust with my car. After getting a so call tune up on my car for almost 300 dollars left me speechless for only 6 sparks plugs to be done and nothing else is a over charge it's truly sad so many business places are taking advantage of people through this Pandemic.. I truly question if a tune up was done on my car not only did I get a tune up tell me why my car started making noise the same day I got my car back lord and behold Mr. Leo tells me it's my hub now not only that he compare my hub with shoe strings.. I will never di business with this place again or send them anymore business... So much disappointment with NickService: Engine repair

I've been a customer of the body shop and the mechanic since they opened. Nick the owner is very personable and makes you feel more like family than just another customer. He takes a personal interest in making sure you get your car repaired properly and with the least hassle. Leo, the mechanic here, has and always will be my mechanic. He explains everything in detail what's needed to fix the problem and I can trust his expertise.Several of my family members and friends are now customers of River Oaks L & E and are extremely pleased with the service,

This place is a complete joke, This guy keeps telling me that I pump ma and pa gas because he thinks I live in downstate Indiana, He then tells me I leave my keys in the car at all times that it s not his fault I don t take my keys out of the ignition, I purposely didn t have anti-freeze in my car wanted to see what they tell me, Nick the (Owner) crawls all over my hood and tells me that I need all new stuff, All I needed was a $20 of anti-freeze. People please!!! Please!!! Watch over your cars really well, Either he s an idiot or a very very good con man, I would recommend that every one stays away from him if U love your cars, He has NO!!! Warranty what so ever just doesn t want to hear he made a mistake, Or he has no clue the worst place by far ever!!!

Haven t had to deal with many body shops but by far best customer service, letting me know every step of the way as far as what needed to be done and communicating with me how the car was coming along. Car looks amazing like nothing ever happened thanks Nick will definitely be my go to shop for any body work and paint!
