Mike is a true gentleman, let me get my own parts, and then went above and beyond to grab them from me and install while I was asleep after working nightshift. Very fair, and knowledgeable and honest mechanic. Much obliged over all these years to be his customer and friend.

Mike is a good and honest guy! I have been to his shop several times and he is always fair and honest, the first time for my Pontiac, for a transmission rebuild. I literally called about 20 other transmission places before I selected Mike and his shop because I heard horror stories of having transmission repair. Speaking to Mike on the phone reassured me that he was the guy for the job!He did a great job!On my second vehicle I took to him for a transmission problem that I just bought, it turned out that the line from the transmission to the computer was unplugged, Mike had his guy plug it back in and there was no problems after that, thanks Mike!If you want a fair and honest mechanic then I would highly recommend Mike and crew!

I would like to share this with everyone after calling multiple transmission shops Mike the owner was very knowledgeable and explained what could be wrong and coming up with different cases of what it can be and all the other shops I called said new trans new trans without looking at it which they charge to diagnose the issue this shop doesn t charge to figure out the problem Mike was a lot of experience and I also went with this place because he works on the police cars and FBI cars also other shops were a couple weeks out and Mike did this in a few days and was the most reasonable on the pricing and he also upgraded the parts to not have this problem again which Dodge/Chrysler vans are Notorious for blown trans so he made sure this wouldn t happen again I appreciate Mike and his team for helping out an urgent matter if any of my other vehicles need repair or a trans they will be on speed dial

Mike was super helpful from the beginning, trying to help me figure out the issue. Turns out i needed a rebuild on the rear differential. He took care of it super quick in 3 days, very efficient and quality mechanics. I will definitely be going back in the future.

It's extremely hard to find great mechanics but I am grateful to have found Mike, during my days of being a parts delivery person from O'Reillys Auto Parts. Mike handled my 2004 Acura TL clutch issue. His shop did a great job he was upfront and fair with me on all the replacement parts needed and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks guys!

Mike was very helpful. He went out of his way to get me a quote to replace my clutch. He is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. I turned in my car at 8.am and he called me to let me know it was ready at 2 pm that same day! Would highly recommend for any transmission or clutch issues!

I have been going to this shop for 7 years now. When I first moved to Illinois I had a horrible car issue. I went to Mike and got me in quickly, completed the repairs, and was both honest and respectful during that stressful time. He is always upfront with me on what actually needs to be done on my car, keeps thorough records, and is very knowledgeable. Everyone who works at this shop are pleasant, respectful, and do great work. I recommend this place ten times over!

I showed up with a car that couldn't even reverse, and make the most loudest banging noises. Mike not only took me in under short notice, but helped me get to the root of the issue -my brakes were missing a bolt. Extremely grateful for their service, and the help!Will absolutely recommend their services !

Had my 2008 buick enclave checked by 4 other shops and was told about 2500 for the repair or about 4000 for a replacement my friend Rick told me to go see me so I made an appointment and Mike checked the car out and said all codes were up to specs and it is fine to drive and did not charge me anything needless to say I will be going back to see him if I need any work done from now on Thanks MikeServices: Transmission, Oil change

Love Ogden Car Care and Transmission myself and my family always get the best service anyone could ask for there! If Mike does not know how to fix it always knows someone who might be able to help. Always polite, always honest don't like bringing my vehicles any where else.

Took our Vehicle and they kept it overnight and at the ended up telling us that he could not work on our vehicle. What a waste of time and tow service used. Mike was very unprofessional, not a way to run a business. Word of mouth is very powerful. Thanks for wasting our time.

Mike is awesome. My brother and I have used him for years. Very honest. I had a problem from day one with a brand new Ford Ranger that I bought right off the dealer lot at Willowbrook Ford. They never fixed and gave me the run around for 3-years. Then after the factory 36-month / 36,000 mile warranty expired, it escalated to major slipping of the gears. I thought now I need a new transmission. I called Mike and told him what was going on. He told me that "no way, that truck does not need a new transmission yet. Bring it in and let me see what I can do with it." I brought it in. Mike found the problem after dropping the pan and the valve body, he found a defective gasket between the valve body and the transmission body. He replaced both gaskets, flushed the trans and installed new fluid. For only about a couple hundred bucks, it was like driving a brand new truck. That Ranger never shifted that good!! My gas mileage even got better and Mike even gave me a 90-day warranty. Thanks Mike. I'm bringing my buddy. Brad over to see you soon. he needs his F-250 trans looked at, so he can sell his truck.

Disassembled the entire unit so I can see the actual damage. Rebuilt it the right way completely. As a mechanic I appreciate the good old fashioned service.

I was referred to Ogden Care Care by Maas Auto because of a specific problem. I spoke to Mike on the phone and found out that John at Maas had already discussed my issue, in trying to solve it! At Mike s suggestion, I dropped off the car in the evening so that it would be a cold start in the mornings and perhaps help in analyzing the problem. Following a test drive and some investigation, I got a call from Mike. He asked me a few questions, and told me what he thought. Then he invited me to ask the loaded question... Is it worth fixing? No. The straight shooting answer was not what I wished to hear, but it was the right one. The problem is not urgent or super dangerous, but merely not worth the money to fix because of other issues with this Model. It can still drive, but the catastrophic end of my car could happen soon... he has seen it before with this Model, unfortunately.But thanks, Mike! I am so pleased to be dealt with in a straightforward and honest way. He could have had me to spend thousands of dollars, only to have further issues develop down the road. He did not want to do that. He runs an honest business.

Came here because of the good reviews but was disappointed to find out they tried to sell me a $2000 transmission I didn't need. Went to jiffy lube and did a transmission flush and trans works fine. Always get a second opinion.
