First time customer at Hollywood - I needed my passenger side headlight replaced. I called, they said to come right in. Warm friendly people. Fixed in about 30 minutes, no charge! I m a pretty happy customer! Thank you, George. I should add that a friend recommended them very highly and I can totally understand why.

I stopped in here not expecting much as I had already been turned away from a couple of places who didn't have time to check my car without an appointment. But the gentleman at the front desk had some free time and were able to help me. Not only that, they immediately offered to drive me home, if needed. They even have loaner cars. But I chose to hang out for a while in their waiting area, which is clean, comfortable and filled with snacks, coffee and reading materials. They checked out my car thoroughly, it wasn't a serious problem, and I was on my way in about an hour. Very much appreciated

I highly recommend Hollywood Motors for all of your car needs. I have been a customer for nearly 20 years! The staff is great to work with and the mechanics are experts. One of my cars is a 2004 Rav-4 and Hollywood Motors is the only shop that has done any work on it. The previous owner purchased it in 2006 with 30K miles and used Hollywood after her purchase, it's still running great with nearly 210K!

My 2007 Accord runs like new! My car needed a lot of work and "Ragu" took the time to explain my options without any pressure. I realized my car was worth twice as much as when I bought it 6 years ago. I decided the repairs were worth it and it has never run better. It was a tough job on a car with over 225K miles. Excellent work and great customer service. I will never go anywhere else.

Having a good mechanic is like having a good doctor. You want someone who is looking out for your best interest and is trustworthy. Hollywood Motors is like that good doctor. They are reliable, good at what they do and trustworthy. I like their friendly service and welcome you like an old friend at every visit. Great service, first time using them. Tony Fragale told me to bring my car in right away to check out my tires, got everything done quickly. Excellent service, I would recommend anyone to bring their car in as they will get it taken care of!

Went in for a tire repair. The service was very quick and professional. The best service I have ever received! RAGU was very friendly! They gained a new customer. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends.

I have been a customer for years - and Hollywood has always been great, but my latest exoerience was so great I needed to share a review. The initial quote for service I received was of course less than the dealer, but the day of service the price dropped an additional 35-40%. Not to mention I needed new wipers which could only be obtained from the dealer - and they drove out to Naperville to get the wipers for me (saving me time and aggravation). The folks at Hollywood are great - honest, perform quality work , and are just overall committed to customer service. You won t go wrong trusting your vehicle maintenance needs to Hollywood.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wiper blade installation

I really like Hollywood Motors. We've been going there for 10 years and they always do a good job. A couple of years ago when I was in a hurry I stopped into a quick lube place. The quick lube place overfilled my oil and messed up my car. That would never happen at Hollywood Motors. You can trust these guys to do it right.

I have gone here for a few years and these guys are great! I never get oversold and always honestly told if/what is wrong. I get all my work done and always get a ride home and a pickup to get back to them. I used to go to the dealer for maintenance but got tired of overpriced, oversell, and always wanting me to buy a new car. Not here!

First I want to say that I moved out to Brookfield about 3 years ago and had brought my vehicle to several auto places and was consistently disappointed until I tried Hollywood Motors. These guys are fair, honest and trustworthy. They fixed multiple problems with my vehicle within 24hrs, one of which I had told another place about, and they couldn t figure it out . I think they were lazy and overworked. These guys at Hollywood Motors are true professionals and their customer service was excellent! I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here going forward. I was very impressed with their service. The team was honest, professional, patient and took the time to explain the problems in detail. They are a family owned business. Very positive experience here. I just moved to the area and was looking for a new auto shop, and I feel like I hit the jack pot. Honest people with a good sense of humor. I only got an oil change, but will be back in the future for more work. As noted in other reviews, they give a nice run down of priority & safety and what needs to be taken care of sooner vs later. Really up front with pricing too!

These guys really go above and beyond on customer service. They try their best to save you money and are extremely transparent on the repairs they make. Brought vehicle in for an oil change, check engine light, and determine why the instrument panel cluster (PRND) was not illuminating properly. Two days later I was notified via telephone that 2 more hours of a diagnostic was needed, I agreed. The next day via telephone I was told what the issues were, I declined the repairs and asked what I owed. The initial charge was for $564.28, when I arrived in person I asked for a itemized bill. The oil change ($45) and check engine light ($170) appeared to be in order. Being billed $340 for what was described on the bill as "The brake lights are not working properly" did not seem to be in order. It was here I was told that the additional 2 hours cost over a hundred dollars an hour. I asked why the bill listed brake lights when the problem I had asked to be checked was the instrument panel, and I was given a vague explanation. The person even crossed out brakes with a pen and told me it was wrong. Two things are true here, the first being that I should have been wiser and asked what the 2 hours would cost. The second is that if you're going to charge that amount of money for diagnostics, an advisement is the decent thing to do. I've had my vehicle serviced here before always with kind and courteous service, so its unfortunate that I will not be going there ever again after this. One employee did go out of his way to try to explain the $340 charge, which still came off as vague, but he offered a free oil change which I declined. I was also given a 15% military discount which was nice, but going from a total of $564 to $513 for an oil change, check engine light, and instrument panel check just seems indifferent.

People rarely take time to write positive reviews. This place is so great, I wanted to write 2! Adam, Ragu (hope I spelled that right), and the whole team of techs are amazing. 1st off, they are honest and reliable. This is critical for a good mechanic. They are also fair with pricing, and they don't add on services you don't need. They will tell you what's critical and what (maybe) can wait. I have been going to them for about 2 years off a recommendation. I will never go anywhere else. They also understand you as a client. I have an older car that I am just trying to keep running well, so it lasts and I can avoid a car payment with these crazy car prices. They have been so helpful in keeping my car running smooth based off my budget and needs. If you are looking for a reliable, fair priced, hard working, consistent shop, Hollywood Motors is the place.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Brakes, Auto emissions testing, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

I took my truck there for repair, I spoke directly to the owner and the tech.Very knowledgeable guys that really know their way around a truck!They identified the problem as having bad camshaft phasers also known by ford as a start up rattleThese guys were spot on. Fixed the problem and completed in a few days.Also their price was more than fair considering the amount of labor that had to go into getting my 2017 ford f150 with bad camshaft phasers back out on the road again.Thanks Jeff and the team at Hollywood MotorsGreat job!Highly recommendService: Engine repair

I've sadly moved away from Brookfield, but Hollywood Motors is by far the best auto shop I've worked with. Their customer service is impeccable, and they do an excellent job of providing transparent quotes and getting work done on time. More than any other shop I've used, Hollywood Motors always seemed to appreciate my business - generally speaking, it just seems like they want customers to be a long-term thing.Services: Tire rotations, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This was my first time bringing my car to Hollywood and I could not be more satisfied! They are professional, friendly, and the shop is incredibly clean. Adam is great and answers all your questions thoroughly, as well as going above and beyond to ensure you have a smooth and pleasant experience. Their sense of care and compassion for their community and customers is refreshing and makes you feel as though you re talking to a neighbor versus just dropping your car for service. You may stop researching now for your auto needs! Hollywood motors: not only very kind and trustworthy, but efficient and the best customer service I have experienced, EVER, while getting my car serviced.. or actually, in general.More details:I called on a whim to see if they had ANY time for a new neighbor (me) to get her oil changed. Cindy, Jeff, Adam and the mechanics were all so wonderful. They worked with me in my 2 hour window for my very needed last minute oil change before a long drive.These types of appointments normally stress me out - I always feel like I m going to be taken advantage of, or the mechanic won t have my best interest in mind. Finding a good auto service shop is hard, it s like trying to find a good dentist. I was put to ease immediately when I spoke to them on the phone. When I arrived - I was slightly nervous I was going to be scolded for my crazy time needs - but no - they were SO very welcoming, friendly, and great to converse with. I never had such a good time getting the oil changed on the car.Hollywood Motors are good people. Go support them. They re a family owned, local business - their work is reliable, their prices are very fair, and you won t regret choosing their services.
