I think this place would be more appropriate called a car magic shop. We were in a pretty major accident and you would ve never known it happened. The car looks and drives incredibly well. Plus Doug was patient with me as I bugged him through the repair process with all my questions. We hope to never have to go through it again, but if we do, we know where we will go.

Great service and the after-hours dropoff around the back of the shop is super convenient. My car is always ready for pickup after repairs by the following day.

Don't normally write reviews but had an exceptional experience with this business. Gave me an honest review of the body work I needed and gave me options - the all in version or one to save me money. Owner is honest and kind. Work took less time than quoted and right on budget. The three employees I came in contact with were great and just had a overall amazing experience. If you are looking for a body shop, this is the place to go. I am so glad that I was recommended by friends and family to bring my car in here for the body work I needed done. Every touch point with their business and team was seamless and the customer service is outstanding. Every member of their team is genuine, kind and communicated well.

Doug and his team are incredibly hard working, honest, and experts at what they do. Doug went to war with my insurance company and got what we needed to do the job. I hardly recognized my car, and in fact walked past it, when I went to pick it up. It's perfect. Douglas Auto Body, is the dream team!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

shady place had my car serviced here took 2months for them to replace a door that wasnt even correctly set into place on top of a piece missing from door and new damage to side view mirror. Highly dont recommend.

Excellent service and quality from start to finish. My family has been taking our cars to Douglas Auto Body since I was in high school and my wife and I will continue to take our vehicles there well into the future. Doug, Matt, and Jessica are all great and go above and beyond for their customers. They make the unpleasant experience of getting in an accident much easier to manage and hassle free, and they're the only shop we would trust our cars to!

First and foremost, this shop does excellent work. Secondly, they are very accommodating and nice people. The reason I went to Douglas Auto Body in the first place was because I've read all the positive reviews. Suffice to say, the reviews were spot-on. I would gladly do business with them again.

These guys go way above and beyondNot only did they do a fantastic job to restore my car to it's pre-oops condition, but they totally cleaned my interior, which had been long neglected. So glad I found Doug and his amazing team.

Douglas auto body is the Only people a new client can walk in and feel safe and trust as far as I'm concerned. I was in the car business over 25 years. I will drive a long distance to see him because of his reputation he and his staff built with not only me but my family. Thanks again Doug!

I went to the Range Rover dealer about my door not closing. I wasnt impressed on how they handled it but sent to a body shop in Wood Dale. I stopped by Douglas at lunchtime and the gentlemen(might be the owner) showed me the latch and as all his men were at lunch, went inside fixed it and didnt ask for anything in return. We will be bringing back our other car that the 16 year old banged up. Thank you for your customer service!!!Service: Body & Trim

I have a limited edition Jeep with its own unique paint ang my jeep looked just like it did coming out of the dealer. Great work, good price (I'd price checked 3 locations).

My dad always went here and I'm so glad I remembered that when it came time to have my car repaired after someone hit it. He stood up for us with the other insurance company to be sure our new car was just perfect again
