I had a wonderful experience at disestablishment. The employees are so nice and the Front desk manager was very kind and friendly. I really appreciated that because unfortunately these days that does not happen a lot. I got a full oil change for my car and the price was amazing. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable to wait in. Overall experience was awesome. I will be a regular customer!

I went into Tuffy on Saturday February 24th for an oil change. My car was taken in for service in under 5 minutes. I was able to use a coupon to save me a ton of money! I was greeted promptly and professionally. The waiting room was clean and had coffee and water, which was great since my appointment was so early. My oil was changed and I was informed that I needed a new air filter which I also purchased. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I was out in a timely manner and ready to finish the rest of my day. Great service!

I got my car fixed with Tuffy for the first time this last week. The place I was originally with wanted to charge me $3100 and Tuffy took care of my car at a fraction of the cost, allowed me to use a loaner, and they were very pleasant to work with. I ve only had my car back for 3 days and so far, so good. I will be making Tuffy my place for car maintenance.

Mark, the manager at Tuffy was very helpful and knowledgeable. My car was fixed in 24hrs and they even gave me a loaner so I wasn t inconvenienced with my car troubles. I also like that they offer multiple financing options.

I had my car 2017 nissan murano platinum,towed to tuffys for a diagnostic in January as all my battery and cables needed to be replaced per tuffys diagnostic test. I got that done along with an oil change. I declined my spark plug replacement. . They were very nice picked me up and got me a rental. This was my only decent experience. Because after that it went downhill. I paid $145 for the diagnostic. Battery and cables and terminals replaced for about $380 or so. I get a phone call that it's still showing low voltage and the warning lights still come on and it needed to be towed to my dealership hove nissan. Tuffys said they been in contact with the dealership about the problem. Hove service new nothing about my car. So I did just that but with alot of hiccups. My car was blocked in by another car. I asked then to move it a tow was coming . They did not and I couldn't get my car towed to the dealership that night. ... tow Truck guy was pissed. I waited 4 hours for that tow. So the next day I called in the morning and ask again to have the car moved so I can tow out. They Said yes. When I brought the rental back I noticed the car blocking mine still wasn't moved. So when I got home I called and asked for the 3rd time. My tow will be there within the hour please have this car moved. And after 3 times it finally was. How ignorant.Now to the next part. My car was towed from tuffys to hove nissan in bourbonnaias. I had to pay another diagnostic fee of $169. And a tow for $110 Just for the service department to tell me and document it that the and I quote " diagnostic perfom system tests, found bad connection at battery, refit and retest .. ok clear codes". So basically if tuffys had done the battery connections correct I wouldn't have had to pay for a second tow, and a second diagnostic test. For the same thing tuffys should have done. I do whole heartedly believe I should be compensated.for my unnecessary tow and partial diagnostic and some labor.I have documentation from tuffys and hove nissan that says what was done. I believe I should be reimbursed for something. I read the reviews the day before I brought my car up to tuffys and the first few recent ones were bad. But I put that aside because a friend recommended them. And all I got was wasted money spent and given a hard time about moving a car that had me blocked in. I also have a question. When my car is on diagnostic at hove nissan it threw a transmission code. Why wasn't this code thrown on diagnostics at tuffys? I think I covered everything. But I would not recommend tuffys for repair. Makes a person pretty salty when u can't trust a local business to do such a simple job. .

Mark Melchor and Shawn went above and beyond to help me get things fixed so I could move some furniture back to Missouri, when the U-Haul trailer I had rented was not having good connection of the lights. After having to pick up the trailer 45 minutes away, and use the Kennedy Dr. Location to try to get the lights to connect correctly, the U-Haul place would nor have been able to fix the problem until Monday. This was on Sat. We had to leave on Sunday. After calling around to a few places, Tuffy's was suggested to us. They were willing to work us in to their schedule and spent a while troubleshooting the issue and fixing it. Such pleasant and wonderful service. Would highly recommend this business for your auto needs!

They're hit or miss, NEVER, consistent! Just took my car to get 4 tires MOUNTED & balanced you be the judge! I have seen Mounting & balancing done with my eyes & it is very possible not to damage anything! Granted this car isn't anything fancy, but if I was to bring my new vehicle here I would be irate! Almost Every rim/spoke was like this & yes, I did get a price reduction which is great, however, when they scrapped ONE RIM, they didn't think like 'oh this is customers property let's be more careful?' 'NOOOO' they didn't they proceeded to scrap EVERY RIM like the MECHANIC did not CARE he just wanted to get the JOB DONE! Not saying, you guys are the WORST but yall can DEFINITELY do BETTER! & it shows! & yes this car has issues, however, I left my car with Tuffy for almost a WEEK! they still couldn't FIND OUT why my car has a CRANK NO START! one time, the car didn't start 'you need a new engine, the car has no compression' okay get the NEW/USED engine STILL CRANK no START!! I CONSTANTLY GIVE THEM the benefit of the doubt, but ONLY so much is acceptable without saying anything! & Tuffy if you say you're going to call someone back please make it a priority because MULTIPLE MULTIPLE times 'ohh can we give you a call back' then 3 - 4 hrs passed 'NO CALL' but if you call them back to check on the vehicle 'oh it's ready to be picked up' like just do better, I don't usually do this unless the establishment has backed me into a corner & don't feel like a valuable customer anymore. Tuffy has 1 last chance with me, Im not a hard guy to please, I just want the work done proper NOT rushed! (maybe in the future we'll be on better terms)

We came to Tuffy s on Thursday because our 2019 Ford Fiesta was having some issues starting. We suspected a bad battery (it was about 5 years old) but wanted a professional second opinion. We paid $800 for other fixes (none of which involved the battery), used a loaner for an evening, and then when we got our car back it died in Springfield two days later, only for another mechanic to confirm that the battery was causing problems. As a customer who has trusted Tuffy s in the past, I am feeling very disappointed and will not be returning.

Been going to Tuffys for years and was satisfied until a few months back to get and oil change and they messed up the plug brought back 3 times talked to manager and he tells me I need a new oil pan after they screwed up the plug.. can t take anywhere else because they won t touch Tuffys screwup. Not a very happy customer. Will never go there again.

Once again, Tuffy's to the rescue. Let them do what they do and you won't regret it. Alternator gave out, one call while on way out to them, repair was complete less than 2 hours later. Couldn't ask for better people.

Tuffy is a scam to make money, needed a outer tie rod cause the threads were damaged, they charged me over 200 for the part and labor, part is 50 bucks max, labor at 90 an hour still wouldn't justify the cost, took ten minutes to replace, never will return again and I'll be on social media telling me story very soon

These people are liars! Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Then was told my undershield bolts needed replacing which I agreed to pay $72 for. Later found out I was grossly over charged. What upset me is the service advisor Mark Melchor NEVER told me about the other things that needed attention and stated on the receipt that I DECLINED! How could I decline if I was NEVER made aware? After getting home and looking at the receipt it stated my battery was leaking acid and the hold down rod was worn! How can you in good conscience not tell a customer that? I could potentially be left stranded somewhere. This is NOT good customer service. The battery issue was more of a safety concern than the bolts! Oh but of course the bolts cost more! I will never bring my car there again or recommend them to anyone! And by the way, they ran out of oil for my truck and I had to wait for delivery. Took them over 2 hours and oil noted under my truck where ever I park it!

After going to Court Street Ford for my Oil Changes and service on my Ford Fusion and Dodge Magnum for about four years I was happy with their service but it was a little pricey. So I decided to go and try Tuffy Tire and Auto Service. Not only was their prices half of what I paid anywhere else they were very professional and did an amazing job keeping me up to date on everything that was going on during my service. Overall I was very impressed and happy with their customer care and the quality of their work. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. My truck started overheating and needed to be towed. I was scheduled for an oil change at Good Year so I called them first to get it towed but they said they did not have a towing service so I called Tuffy. Tuffy towed my vehicle and diagnosed it. It was so professional. I was very impressed. They took pictures of the problems that they were diagnosing and sent it to my phone via text message! I was absolutely pleased with their service. And by the end of the day I was driving my truck again and it has not been overheating. Will be back for future work.

what an amazing place we broke down I was sick and just had surgery Stuck on the interstate. They had somebody pick us up within 10 minutes took our car to there shop . Amazing people would recommend anyone to go here.

Our family had been taking our cars here for service for a few years so when I needed new brakes this is where I took my van. They replaced all four brake pads and rotors and within a week I had to take it back. The car was making this horrible screeching sound when I would come to a stop slowly or inching up in the school drop off line. I even recorded it so they could hear what I was talking about. They took the car in and said that something just wasn t tightened correctly and sent me on my way. Three months later I had to take it back again because there was an awful vibration and pulsing coming from my brakes. They agreed that shouldn t be happening and under their warranty they replaced all four brake pads and rotors again. Not even a year after that it started doing it again and this time when I took it back they claimed I did need the rear brake pads and rotors replaced but I would have to pay for it. I explained that this was an ongoing problem and it wasn t right. I drive less than 10k miles in a year and this was ridiculous so he was able to warranty out the brakes but I still had to pay the labor. Well a few months go by and it s happening again! I didn t bother taking it back there again but took it to a other reputable repair shop and the list of things Tuffy didn t do correctly was astonishing! Pins put in the incorrect slots, clean up that wasn t done before the original brake job and a technical service bulletin directly related to brakes on my vehicle wasn t addressed are just a few. I will never take my cars here again.* As for Tuffy s response, they apparently don t have the records of the times I returned between the date of original work and the next billed service and I would question what they listed for my mileage. My experience with Tuffy Tires & Auto Service was Excellent! Despite being in a snowstorm, with below zero temperatures, Mark took great care of me! He gave me a ride home and got me a great set of new tires, at a price I was very happy with. Johnny took care of the tires, alignment, and the new outer tie rod. My car broke down on my way home from work late last night. I called Tuffy this morning 30 minutes after they opened & spoke with Chris. Within an hour my car had not only been towed, but Chris was already calling me to tell me what was wrong. He kept me in the loop as far as progress & completion (yes, they were able to get everything fixed the same day).When I was unable to find a ride to pick up my car, Chris came & picked me up within 15 minutes. He was so kind & helpful the whole time & I'm very happy with the quality of work done on my car! A nice bonus is that, without asking, I was given an itemized list of parts, services, & labor! Other places around this area are very reluctant to give you an itemized list upon request. Very happy with the experience overall (minus the displeasure that comes with having car trouble to begin with) & would definitely trust Tuffy's with my vehicle in the future!

Fantastic place, great service, and communication. We needed a battery replacement, oil change, and tire rotation, it was late in the day, so we left the car overnight. They were kind enough to bring me home and pick me up the next day after the repairs were complete. They called me and let me know how much the service would cost. Prices are reasonable. Brought my 12 year old van in for diagnostics and there was so much wrong with it that it's not worth repairing. They looked at it and gave me a detailed report within 2 hours of dropping it off. I asked them if I could pay over the phone for the diagnostics and the gentleman chose not to charge me which was a huge blessing. I will definitely return for all of my future automotive needs.

Brought in my Ford F-150 for 2 small jobs all went ok.Figured I d give them a try to fix why my brakes were squeaking.After replacing brakes, rotors and calipers costing me $2000, had to bring back a week later because my brakes were STILL SQUEAKING. And the front driver side wheel was smoking while driving to work! After they did an inspection they claimed that some brake hose had to be replaced which costed me and additional $700.Another Week later brakes STILL SQUEAKING. Bring my truck back for the 3rd time.A month later brakes STILL SQUEAKING.$2700 later I now have to take my truck somewhere else to see why my brakes are STILL SQUEAKING.Customer service is good. Mechanical service not so much. So disappointed.
