A disappointing used car buying experience. The only positive was our salesperson. We did not want the exterior protection package, and he removed it. The finance representative said it s on all the cars at this dealership it s not like we can scrape it off this in front of the salesman, who he reprimanded suggesting that he needed further training on this option. A extremely awkward moment. Yet this protection package is advertised all around the show room as something you should get. Why, if it s already on every car? When the finance offer was presented, it was for 72 months at a high rate. We never asked for a long term, and in fact wanted 48. Excellent credit merited a better rate. Again the finance representative stated well, that s just the rate rolling through our dealership now. The salesperson apologized and the correct term and rate were produced. When finishing up with finance, one paper was to DECLINE the exterior package. Hmm, so I can decline something that s already on every car? Not to mention driving back the next day because 1. The windshield washer wasn t working and 2. Finance forgot to have us sign a document. Yes, I called and tried to reach a dealership manager to discuss my concerns, who apparently called me once, but was never in, or not at this location when I attempted multiple times to return the call. In short, it was everything people HATE about trying to buy a car: feeling manipulated, having things you don t want added to the bottom line. We bought another Toyota at another dealer, a month before. The experience could not have been more different. There are plenty of places to find respectful service. I would not expect it here.

My husband and I met with Matt Hadley and had a great experience.Matt was very kind and talked with us through multiple options. He was also very conversational and easy to talk to. I am more than pleased with my experience with the Toyota roadside assistance and the staff at Toyota of Bourbonnais. They sent out a tow truck to get me off the highway, changed my tire for both the spare and once I got the new tire and then balanced my tire at completely no cost. I am so glad I bought my car from such a reliable and trustworthy dealership and will be going here again once I am ready to have a new car again. Ask for Steve or Sam because they are amazing!!

I so appreciate the staff here at Toyota of Bourbonnais.I purchased my very first brand new car yesterday & Matt H & Dan in finance made it happen for me with ease & they made sure I understood the whole process in detail. I was on the hunt for n Odyssey for sometime. I was hesitant to buy from a dealer I normally don't work with. April was my sales girl and she was amazing. She listened to my concerns, she worked with me and even helped me with transferring my carseats over. She went above and beyond and made me feel so great about my purchase. We went down to test drive a vehicle and were handled by April, she had thorough and in depth knowledge about the vehicle we went to look at, had detailed insight into the buying or ordering process, was friendly and personable, and all around a great sales person. Unfortunately they didn't have and wouldn't be able to get the trim that we wanted so we didn't get to purchase from her because of our time-frame. We would still recommend going to see April if you need a Toyota from Bourbonnais.

Came in today to shop for a car and was warmly greeted by the Toyota team members. We got helped by Caleb and he was extremely patient with us and willing to listen to our concerns and what we are looking for. We are glad to be one of his first customers as he had just recently joined the Bourbonnais Toyota team. We will continue coming back to Caleb in the future and would highly recommend working with Caleb regarding any inquiries here at Toyota.

I was helped by April Stratton, she was super helpful for me when I was looking for a surprise vehicle on very short notice due to icy weather and an accident. She walked me through quite a few vehicles, was extremely helpful, and even worked with me in getting the vehicle I wanted, despite changing which vehicle I wanted almost at the last second. She was super helpful and I appreciate everything she did for us.

Bought a car from here. Kept asking to see the carfax and asking if it s clean title. Was told no it s a clean title don t worry we ll show you when we get to the paperwork Ended up not showing me, found out after I bought it that it had a lemon title. Called them and said I m taking it back this is fraud they said no you signed off on the carfax! Got ahold of the manager and he admitted the saleswoman April lied and never gave me the carfax so the manager (Chris) helped me return the car and got a full refund. Coincidentally I ran into the new owner of the car and they did the same exact thing to him and he s trying to return it he said.So in conclusion don t buy a car from here, especially from April.

I will highly recommend go to Janelle and finance manager i would have 5 stars for both of them, if you have or must to go the Bourbonnais toyota. But our first sale lady can not spell right of my name on my ID with text messages. Sale manager is very rude , discrimination and lying the trade in value. They sold the car my wife wants but still lying to us letting us come to buy the different color when we had an appointment .

I live in Nashville and my Jeep broke down back in September. Luckily my father-in-law brought me one of his vehicles on a flatbed and took my Jeep back to Illinois to take to a mechanic that he trusted in his hometown. Long story short the mechanic was unable to work within my budget.I called Matt sometime In early October and told him the situation and that I would be in Bourbonnais over the week of thanksgiving. He worked with me to get a good deal on my trade in and into a great Camry. He was super patient and a pleasure to do business with!

This place is the perfect reflection of the disorganization, incompetence, and lack of integrity of car dealerships today. I would avoid at all costs.One of their salespeople, Matt Hadley, had me put down a $1000 deposit on a car that had already been sold to someone else WEEKS AGO. Prior to paying the deposit, I had even told Matt to go through every avenue possible to make sure the car was still available.Text from Matt after I put down the deposit and told him to ensure the deal was secure: Everyone here knows that its mine. I've been here for a 10 years now and make sure my deals are protected. I've been in that situation before. Matt then proceeded to completely ghost me for 3 weeks ignoring calls, texts, and emails. You would think an honest salesman would take accountability for his mistake and immediately return the funds to me, but instead I had to wait weeks for him to even pick up the phone. His sales manager Michael was even more useless stating I can t speak for something Matt did - HE WORKS FOR YOU!!Pathetic excuse for a business. I lost hundreds of $$ on travel to go purchase the car on our SET APPOINTMENT TIME.

Morally reprehensible and predatory sales practices. My partner purchased a 2019 Toyota Camry from Toyota of Bourbonnais with 80,000 miles on it about a year ago. Firstly, the sales person did not fully explain to her that she was PURCHASING a car. She originally went in for a lease, and was mislead to actually buy the car. Conveniently, the sales person who did this no longer works there. Secondly, the car was purchased for nearly double what it was actually worth. This is a totally ethically bankrupt decision on the part of this sales person. Thirdly, Toyota of Bourbonnais has outright refused to take any action to refinance or aid my partner in any way to make her payments and the price of this more manageable. We have gone through employment changes since the purchase, our income has changed, and they refuse to adjust the payment plan. Any pointing out the fact that "she signed a contract" is totally irrelevant to the moral and ethical degeneracy of this sales person and the individuals who approved said contract. The finance Director Dan Ballard approved this atrocity. The sales people have no qualms with financially ruining an individual to make a buck.

Updated: spoke to Sam and he s looking into the information that was told to me. Updated the review to a 5 star. I felt Sam was honest about resolving this issue. Thanks SamNot willing to work with people even if you are ordering a new vehicle. I understand with dealers adding money on cars in inventory if they have limited availability but not when you are ordering a vehicle. Lots of dealers are not adding money or forcing you to buy warranty stuff if you order a vehicle.

Very smooth purchase - I enjoyed interacting with Matt Hadley to buy our new Tacoma. He was very friendly and easy to work with. When an issue did arise when we were close to closing, he went to his manager and worked out a solution quickly and completely to my satisfaction. I really felt like Matt was "my agent", rather than an "agent" of the dealership. I would highly recommend him for any future purchases.
