Great people, super service. Went to two other shops, trying to figure out our issues with our car, the other shops wanted to charge an inspection fee $120.00 and up.Midas asked to put it on the lift to take a look at it for me. Which was free, because the employees at this Midas love their jobs which is nice to see. It took only one hour to check out and repair the two issues. They are great! Thanks again, I will be back.

I brought in a 08 Infinity with a coolant leak and a bad sensor. Everyone went out of their way to help get it fixed. Jim the Manager and his team definitely work together to get the job done. Great team.

The team at Midas was able to get us in within an hour of our phone call and was able to look up our warranty and take care of our vehicle the same day. Car is running better than it has in a long time. I asked a million questions and they never got frustrated with me. Something seemed wrong after one of my first appointments and Jim immediately offered to drive to me to make sure everything was safe till I could come back in. OLIVET PARENT REVIEWI'm a skeptic by nature. When it comes to how I view mechanic shops, I always assume they are crooks and liars until they prove otherwise.WOW! This Midas location proved otherwise 10 times over!We had a VERY intermittent problem with our A/C and we were 8 hours from home for a visit to Olivet. Jim (owner) and his team didn't brush the problem off just because they couldn't reproduce it. They dug in and kept going until they thought they had found the issue. We drove the car that evening and the intermittent problem happened again. I knew that when a problem is that sporadic that it is very difficult for a mechanic to diagnose, so I was not upset with them, but I expected for them to be frustrated to see me back the next morning.There was no frustrated, but a smiling, warm welcome and immediate empathy with me that the problem was not resolved. (AJ at the front desk is simply amazing!) They spent the day digging in again and by the end of the day were confident they had figured out the problem and they had! On top of it all, they could have charged me for a lot of labor for those two days of work, but Jim was so kind and I walked out having paid much less than would have been reasonable.My experience here was not simply based on the service rendered, but the interactions with the owner and team convinced me that I had a shop that were dedicated to honesty and fairness; wanting to build relationships, not grab dishonest bucks.My daughter will be beginning her freshman year at Olivet this Fall and this is where she will be taking her vehicle for maintenance and service.Thank you, Jim, AJ and the Midas crew!

After my truck was hit in an accident, Midas was responsible for a full inspection along with alignment due to damage to the front passenger side. They assured me they "looked at everything" and all that needed to be done was an alignment. Driving to work the next day, I knew something was wrong, as the wheel still was not straight. I went to a trusted mechanic, that found damage to the outer tie rod along with the steering knuckle. I informed the staff at Midas of this, and they found it "interesting" because they "looked under there themselves". Although insurance will be covering the cost, I am very disappointed I was given my vehicle back in a condition that was not safe for driving, and the insurance paid for a service that was not completed. I strongly encourage you to make sure your mechanics are properly trained and understand the importance of the work being done.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle safety inspection

Going to get your car fixed is stressful. Many places tend to take advantage of females. Not at Midas, I have been here twice and been treated fair. Can I say something about honesty? Recently restored a classic muscle car and needed a few things done I could not do myself. They did an excellent job on my exhaust from the headers back. The guys really repected my car and asked my opinion before they tacked things in place which is something I really appreciated. They also did an alignment for me and got my steering set just right. These guys are top notch and I would hesitate to bring my car in again if needed.

I brought my car in to get it looked at because my car began to stall out on me. They did a great job diagnosing what was wrong and fixing the problem with a quick turn around. Even after I had picked it up they reached out to make sure that their work on my car went well and my car os running great. The only shop in my area that is willing to work with the donlen service contract to keep my Lyft car safe and reliable. Very kind and professional shop manager here. Definitely recommend for their courtesy and professional attitude. They've done front end work and brakes at prior visit, today was oil change and tires. Even though it can be a frustrating and time consuming process to get the work approved, the manager here never loses his cool. Really appreciate the positive attitude at this shop. Very disappointing service experience today. Went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Three obviously issues after they had a very young kid do the work who was very inexperienced: When I got my car back, the dashboard still indicated the oil level to be 8%. He didn't reset it. Three of four tires were at 35 pounds cold pressure when I brought the car in, the 4th was 34. 35 is the recommended cold pressure. When I left, all four tires were lower than recommended. He was supposed to put air in, not take it out! Put the air in and look at the readings on the car's dashboard; not that difficult a task.And when I got home, I found the kid had left a tool in my car. If my car starts leaking oil because he put on the wrong filter or did not tighten it properly or if a tire falls off because it wasn't put on correctly, Midas will have a lawsuit on its hands. And all of this took one hour and 45 minutes of my time. Absolutely absurd. This kind of service wouldn't have been worth it even if it were free.Update! I got a follow-up text from someone named Jim asking if my service experience was great. I wrote back with the facts. He forwards it to Charles, who says he'd be happy to talk with me, but doesn't pick up the phone and call the customer. Next day I went to put air in my tires and I'm putting air in the rear tires, but the instrument panel is indicating the air is going in the front tire. The toddler they had work on the car didn't reset the Tire Pressure Management System! Midas obviously is hiring unqualified workers. This shop had better refund my money. It's going to cost over $40 to buy a unit to do it myself or pay another shop to do it correctly.I've never seen such a screwup of a simple oil change and tire rotation in my life. I have been using this location for many years and have been very satisfied with all work done by them until my recent visit. I was hearing a slight noise in the front suspension when turning . They told me that the stabilizer links needed replacing. No problem, I had them replaced. Now when driving the front suspension sounds like it is going to fall apart. Took it back and they informed me that it was the front struts and they should be replaced. I have been in the automobile business for 35 years ( retired now) and I know that is not a strut noise. I m actually a little scared to drive it with the noise that it s making now!9Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

They ran a diagnostic for free and were extremely helpful getting ahold of my protection company to file a claim. They also got my car in fast and fixed. Checked other issues and gave me an estimate. Super friendly staff such a pleasant experience.

Keep having issues here. From not completing oil changes to technicians who have damaged my car (Midas paid for the damages but it was a headache having to keep returning to get it fixed)

Just stopped here because of an oil pressure light while traveling. They took the time to figure out the problem. Ensured us we could continue our travel plans and did not even charge us. All while being professional, friendly and courteous.

Highly recommend these guys. Always honest and straightforward. Could have taken me for thousands in repairs but didn't. Took my vehicle there 2 years or less ago. Full break redo. Break lines calipers, pads the works. Over 1500 dollars. 2 weeks later on a trip home my front rotors were grinding. Took it back they didn't replace a part they should of.... ok no charge but took time. So with in 2 years my break fluid needs to be filled and its leaking from the front right. Well take it back and I need all new calipers and breaks in the front. I dont drive to work. I have to pay labor which ingest but seriously. 3 times in 2 years in have replace my breaks and pay for labor? I've owned a ton of vehicles and ingave never had this happen. I don't recommend. I dont feel safe with them doing my breaks. Tell me somethings wrong with my breaks 3 times?

when taking in my car for a oil change, and getting information about other repairs they told me my belt tensioner was bad. However the belt tensioner itself was fine.... The pulley and bearing were not a 20$ part. They told me it was 200+ and labor to fix it. (previously they said it was the alternator.) I said no thanks and drove it home. later it did fail as I thought, but I fixed it myself. Take what they say with a grain of salt and get a second opinion.

Wow what professionals LMAO. Had them call me on a quote to replace just the pads and rotors (450) for just the front. Then when I expressed my concern about the price the (professional) hung up the phone and I didn t get a chance to discuss my options. I ve been warned about this establishment before. Should ve listened to my source. The guy on the phone is an absolute joke! Good job guys, great customer service!!!! LOL
