Went through my insurance company and got my car in and out in a timely manor. The car looks like new again. The gentlemen that helped me got me in right away and was very knowledgeable on what happened and what was going to happen. Front desk lady was very helpful. She kept me in the loop on the progress of the car, dates and reminders as well. Will use them again in the future for anything else that comes up.

Gerber repaired a large dent on my car. They did a great job. I cannot tell that it had been damaged! Everyone was very nice. They kept me informed during the repair process as to when I would get my car back. They did everything in a timely manner!

I give Gerber collision five stars Donnie, Doug, Joe and the receptionist were all AWESOME! very Professional and really cares about the customers needs! This is the second time my car have been in Gerber bodyshop & I absolutely love how they go over & beyond the call of duty for their customers!! I recommend Gerber to anyone!!

Someone hit my car overnight and I woke up about to cry. My new SUV was wrecked. Gerber was great from the initial visit to the end. Everyone is awesome from Kate to Donnie... Donnie kept me advised of the status of my repair. I went to get it, I almost cried again. I couldn't believe what an amazing job they had done. Even detailed my baby in and out. Such A1 service. Thank you all.

It took longer than expected for repairs, but everything is good as new if not better. Gerber was suppose to call me back to reschedule an appointment for what should have been taken care of the first time it was in. I had to wait a few months to get my car in the 1st time. When they didn t take care of the the second part of the work that needed to be done they said I would have to make another appointment. They advised me that I wouldn t have to wait that long again and they would fit me in asap. I picked up my car on a Friday and they said they would call me on Monday to schedule and appointment. They never called me. I called them back on Thursday. They said it would be almost 2 months before they could get my car in. I told them that they had advised me that it wouldn t take that long. They said there wasn t anything they could do about it. If they had done the work the first time around we wouldn t have had any problems. But more importantly, they shouldn t have lied to me.Service: Body & Trim

There is a shop full of staff ready and willing to help make your car repairs smooth and efficient. It's never a good reason I need to go see the crew at Gerber Collision of Bourbonnais so it's really nice having informed confident people to help comfort you in a stressful time. Gerber took care of me. I had just purchased a new Harley and ended up scratching the side bag. I didn't even have 50 miles on it yet. The scratch was very deep and they were able to fix it and make it look like it never happened.

Went here for en estimate on my car after an accident. The were very rude from the moment I walked into the door, acted like I was a bother, like they didn't have time for me, and that I didn't know what I was talking about. They took pictures and told me I'd have my estimate in less than aweek. When I got the estimate OVER a week later, over 50% of the damage was not listed on the estimate. When called to address it, they got a snotty attitude and said oh, well when we take it apart we'll find more damage and repair it then. Took my car to another body shop for another estimate, and their estimate was OVER 3 TIMES THE ONE FROM GERBER. Between the attitude, mistreatment, and the seemingly shady work they do, I will NEVER bring a car back here. 2800 dollars in damage that wasn't on the estimate. Absolutely ridiculous. If you want your car fixed CORRECTLY, do NOT go here.

Gerber collision did a great job repairing my SUV. They were polite and professional. The General Manager (Doug) was very helpful and contacted me when my car was being repaired. Kate was very helpful also, she ws very formative. Gerber Collision & Glass is the best I would recommend them to anyone.

This is my third major automobile body repair from Gerber Collision & Glass and once again the work was completed perfectly! My car looks good as new once again! We had an appointment for an estimate on body work for my boyfriend's car. They blew it off for an entire week. When we showed up to take the car somewhere that could keep their promises, suddenly they had time to take pictures, making us wait even longer. I don't know what happened to this Gerber, but I've had better service at fast food restaurants during peak hours.Get your act together, Gerber! You might have been great in the past, but riding on that reputation with laziness isn't going to fly. The only reason we waited an entire week for you to pull your heads out from where the sun don't shine was because USAA wanted an estimate from an approved body shop. They will be hearing all about this ineptitude, rest assured!Update:I won't be providing contact information on a public forum. If you can't figure out which customer you blew off multiple times after he set up his appointment for his black Ford Fusion, you have bigger problems than my review.

This establishment is amazing!!!! The owner, Doug, is SO KIND. I was hit while parked in a parking lot. I did not know who did it because they drove off. My back bumper had about 1 foot of damage / white paint scuffs from the other car and I was able to get it fixed in a timely manner. I am beyond satisfied with the service I received from Gerber. (Edit: the gentleman that I spoke to about everything over the phone was Don, didn t catch his last name though, but his customer service was extremely professional and to the point! 5 stars to you also sir!) Doug Randolph was super professional. He called me with updates almost daily and stuck true to his pick up date for my car. Upon picking up the vehicle he had spoke to me about all the work they had done. 5 stars to you and your exemplary customer service. Also I want to commend my technician Joe Bauer for going ABOVE and BEYOND working on my car. He manufactured my air box (which looks awesome), detailed my vehicle inside and out and made my car look like it had never got into an accident. Thank you Gerber! You will forever have my business!!! I will be highly recommending you!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, Body & Trim, Oil change
