Great employees, Frankie is very kind and helpful. Most of all, they are honest, not trying to fix something that is not necessary, always giving good advice. Miguel is one of rare mechanics who delivers honest job.

I have a 89 Mustang GT that Miguel's Auto restored the suspension, engine, transmission brakes. The car runs like new. All done at a very reasonable price and a short time. I highly recommend if you need something done to your auto they are the place to go.

Great experience. Friendly staff. I recently moved to the area from the city (Chicago) and a lot of these repair shops out here charge way more than what I m used to paying in the inner city. These guys have reasonable prices and a great staff. Hopefully my car doesn t break down lol but if it does, I know where I m taking it.

Love the great people also price for work done on ANY vehicle. Extremely friendly, fast excellent work. Done correctly given warranties on ALL work! Great owner and staff. Definitely coming back.

I love taking my car to Miguel's Auto I have been going to Miguel's for about 6 years! Miguel always treats me and my family with respect and he is a very honest man! His son Edgar is an amazing mechanic, he is always there to help, and he is honest as well. Diana is a great at getting back to me and she is always in a happy mood. Miguel's Auto is definitely a great place to go because they always treat their customers with respect and they are always helping out and making their customers happy. I will continue to take my car to Miguel's Auto because they are honest people, have great prices, and they are all very hard working people!!!!

This is my 2nd car in for a BIG repair and Miguel s Autoshop has beat any and every other shop in price and quality . 1st I brought in a 2006 G6 I ruined the trans in. He replaced it and it ran for 135k miles before the car was totaled in an accident. I now brought my 2009 Saturn outlook for an engine replacement and the truck is running better than EVER! We got a big radiator leak on our way through Chicago headed back to WI at 2pm on a Saturday. We called Miguel's and they told me to drive down and they would take a look at it, even though they close in an hour. The mechanic that answered the phone, Alex, got right on it immediately and they got a new radiator installed in 2 hours!! They even stayed past their closing hours to make sure we got back on the road, and Miguel gave us a very fair price too, pretty sure most other shops would have made us wait, and would charge us a lot more knowing our circumstance. Luckily we picked the right place and people to help us, would recommend Miguel's to anyone!!

A buddy of mine brought his car to you guys for oil change, tire rotation, and battery replacement. Next thing you know he drives off the lot and bam about 22 CEL s on, I mean the whole dash was lighting up like it was Christmas. I don t know what you guys did but not a good job. I suggested he go down the street to P&L in Lisle with his Audi and they fixed it in a couple hours, 1 day. Not good not good at all guys.

Took our sons truck in for repair. Great Service, Friendly people, reasonable prices and awesome work. This is the third time we have had work done at Miguel's and they are always terrific! We recommend them highly and will recommend them to all our friends!!!

They are easy to work with, very reasonable, get the job done on time, and keep you informed along the way. I wouldn't trust our cars and trucks to anyone else. Can't say enough good about these guys.

These guys do guess work and are not specialists. They have no experience whatsoever. All my car needed was a muffler replacement so the engine could breathe and they gave me a huge invoice for labor and parts replacement which took an entire day and left me with the same problems soon as i got on the highway. I called them on the highway and they told me they re closed for the day and can t help me. I had to replace the muffler somewhere else and my car has been fine since then. Don t go to them, you re better off if you Do It Yourself .

Worst experience ever. Held my car for a week and did no service. No communication on the status of the disgnostics. Tried to doctor up an invoice to charge me for work never authorized or done. They also say they are too busy to follow up with customers. $37 for an oil change? How are these reviews saying fair prices. Even if they recommended an oil change I would never authorize to be charged that much!

Had brakes and rotors done last June 2015. Mileage was 102627. Moved to NC in December and had car transported on a semi. Needed new brakes this past week, one year later, and mechanic said my rear pads were completely shot. Mileage on car is 104060. I find it hard to believe that after only 1400 miles my rear pads wore out. I believe Miguel's didn't do the rear brakes and front brakes but charged me $430.00. Miguel's is a rip off and they don't do the work they charge you for. Customer BEWARE!!!!!! Sorry that giving zero stars isn't an option. They should be put out of business. Agree with Dan Garcia--they are VERY, VERY SNEAKY......

Took my car here in response to a P1259 error that I had read with my tool. Turned out that there was no solenoid in the engine that apparently is not stock for my vehicle. Had an unnecessary replacement done to the oil pressure switch, (which ran me a little over $100, which also led to an additional $30 oil change) that didn't solve the initial problem. A simple bypass added to the solenoid connector did clear the code, though now there's a smell of burning oil exhuding from my A/C vents, persistent white smoke from the exhaust, along with an illuminated SRS and an ABS light less than 24 hours after the repair. How? In all honesty..I should have only paid for the bypass which would've equated to maybe $5. I've taken cars here for years and there always seems to be some form of detriment to my vehicle when I leave; this time a more than noticeable part being stolen, or better put; ripped, from under my hood (photo below) in addition to the new illuminated lights and constant white smoke emitting from the exhaust. I do not recommend this shop. They're unprofessional.

Had a bad oil leak, and was also hard to diagnose/fix the first time around, although everyone at miguels auto went above and beyond to make sure problem was completely fixed.

Was referred by a friend at work. They did a great job on my brakes and rotors. When Auto Zone sold me the wrong parts, they had the new ones brought over and charged me the same and provided the same warranty. Will definitely return and recommend in the future. Thank you!

They have always taken good care of my cars. They go the extra mile to make sure the issue is resolved. Edgar is my go to guy for any car problems. Ask for him when you come to the shop.

Their service is not that good it is horrible. I dropped my car off on a Friday for them to install a new oil pan and repair my exhaust leak. They held my car up at their shop for almost two weeks, without doing any work on it. They do not communicate with their customers. I had to make continuous calls to the shop, to find out what was going on with my vehichle.They kept giving me the run around regarding my vehicle. An I stopped by the shop one Saturday night, to get something out of my car. UPON my arrival to Miquel`s Auto Shop, i discovered one of the shop employees left the driver side window down on my vehicle, the keys was left in the ignition. The hood of the car was left open aswell, the new parts I purchase for them to install,Was also left on the front seat of my unsecure car, in their unsecure lot. When I told them about what I found, regarding the condition I found my car when I stopped by that Saturday night. They did apologize to me when I contacted them the following Monday morning. I also received a call from the owner the next day apologizing as well.And it was suppose to rain that weekend when all this had taken place. When they finally got around to fixing my vehicle, they did not complete all the work that I requested. After I wrote the work I wanted completed on a pad that they provided, asking me to write down the work I wanted done. When i picked up my car, I ask them did they repair my exhaust system. I was informed, that the Mechanic did not read the information on the pad regarding the work that was suppose to be performed on my vehichle.And they told me to bring it back, an it would cost me an additional $200.00 dollars to complete the work on the exhaust system that they were suppose to fix when they had it for two weeks. (DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICHLE THERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!)I do not recommend this shop, if you want good service in a timely an professional manner.

I was referred to Miguel's Auto by a nice guy at AutoZone. I couldn't be happier with this experience. They were fast, honest, and fair. I'm so sick of getting ripped off by other places... I will definitely be back next time I need work done.

I had major problems with my car, not only did Don Miguel & his team fix my car they did it in record time. The dealer wanted $$$$$$$ at Miguels Auto shop I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg... plus they have cool movies all the time.

So I have a 2005 ford freestyle that was having transmission problems,so I decided to bring it here considering some of the reviews but I felt that not everybody can be satisfied,so I decided to give this place a chance and with nothing to regret Don Miguel took care of my car and me though it took longer then expected, but the job got done and right.Thank you guys

Our daughter's car broke down on her way back to school. She got it off the highway in Bolingbroke, far from where we live. Miguel's was recommended to us so we had it towed there late that night. The next day Miguel's looked at the car, called us about the issue, and helped us make the best plan of action. In the end, Miguel's made no $ off of us and they bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. If I lived closer I would use them all the time. Can't recommend them highly enough! Thank you Miguel's Auto for all your help!

I've been getting work done on my cars by him over 12 year's they don't cheat you or over charge you and they get the job done. Very nice people.
