I have been bringing my vehicles to Mark Sherman, owner and operator of GTM automotive for more than 20 years. He has never disappointed me and has always provided the highest level of service possible. He is honest, uses quality components and will provide you the best service at the most competitive price possible. I could not endorse GTM and Mark strongly enough!

We have taken 4 of our family cars to GTM over the years and we are very satisfied with the service we receive each time. They are very knowledgeable , straight to the point & also explain in lay terms for us non-mechanics. I never feel taken advantage of being a female customer either. They are professional and I recommend them to others.

GTM automotive is a very good and reasonable place to get the car repair work done. The owner Mark and Fred the Manager, best people to work with. I always go there for my car oil change, brakes and filters replacement. They are convinientally located on Boughton Rd/Schmidt Road in Bolingbrook.

The mechanics at GTM are very knowledgeable and efficient. They have excellent customer service, and we know we can trust that they will give us the best answers and that they will always do their best to help. We have been going to them for years, and they always have great service!

*CONSISTENCY* The team at GTM Automotive has consistently provided me with excellent, fast and honest service. I live in downtown Chicago but travel out to ATM because I trust them with my automotive needs and I will continue to even after I buy a new car.

It was the first time I went and it was about 3 wks ago and I had nowhere to go since I just moved here to Bolingbrook. I took a chance and I think I'll be going back to them. I had an appointment at 8 am. I got lost trying to find the place. I didn't wait extremely long, about 1.5 to 2 hrs. The gentleman who helped me checked in was very nice and as well as the owner, whom I had a chance to speak with in between and ending, is very knowledgeable. I love that they are open on Saturdays because my days off are on the weekends only and don't want to miss work. Definitely recommend the place to anyone as I had a great experience.

GTM I just have to say how much I love this car care facility they are honest they explain to you upfront what s wrong with your car and how much is it going to cost. I d really recommend this place for anybody especially if you looking for honesty. This is the perfect place to go. Thank you GTM, automotive &muffler.

I've been bringing my cars here for almost 15 years and have always been satisfied with their service and the quality of their work. They were even able to get my car in right away when I needed a major brake repair.

They get a 10! I take my car with a ring, a clank and a thump and in a short time they call with the problem. They are accurate, fast and super efficient. No shortcuts.The car problem gets fixed and it stays fixed. I feel safe driving my car after they work on it.

I was having intermittent problems starting my car. I usually go to the Hyundai dealer in Joliet, but they couldn't get me an appointment for 3 weeks! I called GTM, they asked if I could leave the car overnight so they could better diagnose the problem. They were very courteous and did a great job of explaining what they thought was wrong. They recommended replacing the starter after checking out the electrical system. Haven't had a problem starting the car in over thirty days. Will be using them again. Service: Electrical repair

Great place to take your car if it has a mechanical issue. Honest people that will find out and repair the specific problem. I have taken my two cars ( two Volkswagens) to them on different occasions with satisfactory results.

I had an Allen wrench in my tire. The crew was about to go home when I showed up. They stayed and fixed my tire fast. And a good price too. I just found my new to go place for repairs. Thank you for being there for me.

I have been a AAA member since 1985. I have been going to this shop for many years. The service is excellent, the mechanics are the best. They are fair and also take the time to explain what is needed and why. They stand behind their work.I ve been to the AAA car care places and I have to say, GTM Automotive is better. This was my second time at GTM, the first time they were able to diagnose a "no crank" issue after I had the car towed there when it died. They also replaced the sway bars on the car as I requested. They gave me the AAA discount and were very polite and professional. This second time was a result of a noise we started hearing. They suspected rusted brake hardware and replaced it. They found that the noise was still there and then found the rear brake pads were very worn. They replace the pads and rotors and all is well. They did not charge me labor or for the hardware they replaced.I feel they are fair and trustworthy. I will return there if something comes up with one of my cars.Service: Brake service & repair

GTM is the best mechanic shop I ve ever been to. Fred, Mark, and the rest of the crew are all incredibly nice, patient, and thorough. When I had a major issue with my car, they went over it with me in detail, let me ask all the questions I needed, and spelled out my options clearly. Every time I drop my car off for anything as routine as an oil change, I encounter a clean shop, stellar customer service, and reasonable prices. Full confession, I no longer live super close to GTM, and I STILL commute back when I need work done because I know I ll get the best service possible. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

Honest folks doing good work. They were upfront with me about costs and assessments. The guy who helped me, Fred, let me know that my car would need work eventually but advised against getting it done prematurely. Anyone who tells me upfront not to waste my money on work that does not need to be done unnecessarily has my vote.

GTM Automotive is an excellent car repair shop. Mark, Fred and Dan do a great job of maintaining our five vehicles and my mother's one vehicle. They are fair and do an excellent job.
