Eventually I found good shop to do maintenance. They are professional and nice people and they answer questions without complaining. Very friendly. Also important thing they are quick and they called me about within1 hour of checking in. They respect truckers time Really appreciate what they doing. Thank you Mechanic Johnny.

Country Pride tex-mex choices overpriced & under serving size. Saw the server pet someone's DOG. Didn't see her wash her hands before bringing customers their orders...

By far and away one of the cleanest and quietest truck stops we've been to. No idea how this place could be less than 5 stars. We were set up for disappointment pulling in after reading the reviews, but this place was amazing. The fuel isle was clean, trash emptied everywhere, grass mowed and no garbage blown up against fences, etc. Trust me I looked while walking the dog. The bathrooms are immaculate as they obviously clean them often. Talked with Brandon at Country Pride while he took his break outside and he was friendly and welcoming. Took our 10 hour break here too. Yes, there are a lot of reserves here and we'd like to see that cut in half, too many TA's don't have enough free parking. The restaurant was clean, warm and the staff excellent. Food is extremely high priced, even compared to Dennys. The Country Pride chain could think about lowering their prices a bit. The food was very good and cooked nicely, but portions are small. As to the TA shop! It has been cleaned up beautifully! Fresh paint on the building shows this TA puts priority on the drivers! We had a PM done in the evening and Jesse was professional and friendly. He got the work done quickly and did a great job. It's nice to find a mechanic at a TA that truly cares about and respects truck drivers. As a final note, to the drivers, please keep this TA clean and reward them for putting so much (recent) work into the facilities to make this a great truck stop. We all complain about the nasty places we have to stay. This TA obviously listened and is making the effort to make our stays as perfect as possible. Let's give them our business for that.

This place is a disgrace. The drivers bathroom hasn t been cleaned in no telling how long. 2 of the 3 stalls were out of toilet paper. This bathroom was filthy. On top of that they are charging for 80% of their parking spots. You would think with the money they get from parking they would be able to keep a bathroom clean. Corporate will be contacted. TAs and Petros showed how little they cared about drivers during Covid and it still shows. They need to just go completely out of business and have someone who cares about drivers take over.

Restrooms are disgusting.The cleanest thing on the whole store is the popcorn popper. I think both situations stem from the same thing laziness !!!.

Just got a phone call from Darcy from the TA in Bloomington Illinois following up on a card issue that I had the night before. She made sure that the transactions were correct and as much as truck drivers like to complain about truckstops and never having anybody follow up. She was very true to her word, and I could not be happier. Thank you again for not just making a truck driver feel like you took our money and did not care. I can honestly say that Darcy took the time and followed up with me, could not be happier.

ONE ANGRY CUSTODIANJuly 30, 2022. I came into the store around 7am. Over the next hour and a half, I did my laundry and had breakfast in the restaurant. Around 7:30am a man I believe to be the custodian/janitor was VERY LOUDLY angry about EVERYTHING for the next HOUR until I left! "I'm the most valuable person here, and I haven't been paid in a month!" "I just cleaned that (main entry door) window Thursday!" I mean everything! Dirty floors, angry, loud complaint. Dirty bathroom, angry, loud complaint. Lounge needs mopped, angry, loud complaint. Dirty laundry room, this one sent him off into an angry tirade. (See pic. of laundry room.) You can see how his poor, and at times AGGRESSIVE, attitude is taking it's toll on the other employees. If ya'll want to keep them, get rid of him. I don't even work here and I wanted to quit after only ONE HOUR! No one should have to deal with an unhinged co-worker.Everyone else working in that building gets 5 stars, imo, for dealing with that all day and not snapping.

Takes forever to get to and from the highway, mostly paid spots, small selection of drinks and snacks, dirty and broken showers and laundry machines. Friendly people get it one extra star but I probably won t come back here

With an address on Tuckers Lane , don t you think it d be nice to offer things truckers need?3 Basics: A roach free fuel island, A useable garbage can, and last and most important-COFFEE. I don t even know what it s like at the Pilot-Same exit, but I do for next time.Options for future consideration; COFFEE, washer fluid in the bucket you have your squeegee in, more than one staff member to accommodate your customers, parking solution, and clean off the crass above your urinals.Good luck out there guys

The restaurant is WAAY too expensive.$$. Meager portions for average food. It won't be long before its closed. Nobody can eat everyday,for those prices. All petro/ta truck stops are highly neglected and over priced

The Country Pride is still open! Come and support them or don't complain when all you have is fast food. Caytlynn is very friendly and welcoming. I'm just stoked I found a Pride that's still open.

This place was trash 10 years ago. It s even worse now. What does TA do with the income from paid parking other than chock it up to corporate profits? $1,000-$2,000 per day could be put to upgrades. Or another novel idea; pay the employees more so that maybe they ll do their job. This place is just depressing. I think it could be used to film an 80 s throwback adult movie.

Shower rooms were spotless. Warm towels. A few hot cold food options. Own restaurant. But reserved parking too expensive. 24 bucks. If you don t fuel Or have rewards.

Had to pay 18 dollars for a shower and this is what I get! Pretty sad. Will never come here again.

A national emergency was declared yesterday. Today, the state of IL ordered all bars and restaurants closed. The TA in Bloomington responded by raising the price of thier pre-packaged sandwiches to almost $6. They are normally about $4.29. This summer when they start declaring how much they appreciate truck drivers, remember this and tell em what to do with thier appreciation.

The brother taking care of the showers is banging on doors while your in the shower taking about his shower line is getting backed up. Lol. I have never had someone go up and down the hall banging on doors. On top of that this location needs to be upgraded. Run down TA location

Most TA's are trash. This one is no exception. Sad to see over 80% of the parking lot is reserved but the facilities are horrible. What is that money going towards cause they definitely aren't putting it back into the stores. The shower was okay. I must've caught them after they cleaned because it wasn't bad. I wish they'd invest in the store like they're supposed to instead of pocketing the cash. Btw, $25 for a parking spot is absolutely ridiculous and should be against the law.

Restraunt closes at 8:00 pm & doesn't open until 800 am, what a shame and waste of assets. :(Eating off a roller grill & serving old hot food in the warm case is not acceptable.The fuel desk clerk is unfortunately the only one to complain with.Management is not on staff, from what I can tell.

Totally endorse this travel center from the management to every employee amazing people they made us feel welcome while our truck was being repaired the Kind Lady behind the counter Mrs. T was so amazing to my wife and I the manager on duty was very kind and inviting to us as well plan to stop here every time we are in Illinois !!Thank you all !!

Staff at counter/ Fuel desk extremely rude. Also completely refusing to do his job on top of being overall rude. Plus like all other TA and petro locations, completely ran down old stores. Where they suck in all the profit and don t reinvest into their stores.

Got breakfast at the restaurant two eggs hash browns toast bacon a slice of ham one biscuit and barely enough gravy to cover the biscuit was $32 try to order steak and eggs but they were out of steak ridiculous price for a simple breakfast

Parking lot is FULL on a Saturday and no open restaurant! Seems to be the common thing latley. Tried to get something warm to eat, not even a hotdog available. Charged to park and the lot is full of potholes. Not enough staff to run these places and always here about not enough pay to keep anyone. Ta has gone in the toilet! Oh, but they made 9billion last year.

Just specificly about the parking. More than 50 percent of lot is paid parking. But as usual they include the spots that they use for dropped sea crates for there shop storage as part of the free spots. Typical of ta Petros now a days. Getting more greedy also place is a pig pen and staff is rude and lazy. Used bathroom yesterday and today and it hadn't been cleaned in between. Pretty obvious when same wash cloth sitting in same place from one day to the next.

Excellent service great place to stop Miss T is amazing in the store and Rashawnna in the truck service area is awesome as well felt like we were visiting family AAAA + everyone was very friendly. Food and restaurant was great too

This is a nice TA. Lots of parking and you can almost always find a spot even later in the night... Even if you have to pay for it, it is great being able to park after a long hard day and you're in the need for sleep. The Country Pride does a good job. All few meals I had there were good. The showers are nice too. This is a 5 star truck stop for the cleanliness, the food, the parking, and the clean and hot showers. Good job TA! This is one of your best ones.

Lots of parking, nearby movie theater for your 34 or for fellow night drivers. Ladies room was clean and staff was polite.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! I pre paid for my fuel told the lady the exact amount i needed in fuel. So i start cleaning my windows while fueling when i look it had passed the amount i told her. Went back in and told i only said a specific amount & replied we cant set the amount on our end. I need to be at a certain weight so im putting in only what i need. We drivers always get screwed. I'll never shop a TA ever again.
