Call center is a joke. This store front is a joke. Called Thursday and made a same day appointment. Was told I would receive text confirmation, which I did not receive. Showed up to have the guy at the store tell me I don t have an appointment on the books, in addition to not having anyone at the store to rotate my tires anyway. We made an appointment for Saturday morning at 8a. Showed up Saturday morning to a handwritten note on the door that the store will not be open till afternoon . No call to let me know ahead of time. Called the call center and was told the store will be open at 730a when it was already after 8a. Where is this call center? Do not waste your time with this store.Update: Went back to the store at 1030a to see if they were open yet and to ask why they were not open at 8a, in addition to why they were unable to call me to let me know they would be closed. He said they did not have any employees to work and they did not have my phone number (I have purchased tires and had them rotated multiple times here). I said I would not be returning to the store ever again and turned to walk out. As I was leaving I heard him say, fine by me three times before the door shut. Great customer service for sure!

Great service, reasonable prices, great folks to work with. We've used them for oil changes as well as tire-related issues. We plan to use them for future work (such as brake service) when the time comes. Highly recommend Davis Tire!

I had the pleasure of working with Tim at this CarX location. My son's car was having issues with tires. I walked in ,without an appointment, spoke with Tim about what was happening. Went to have car looked at because spadomoter was not working. I informed them I belive it was speed sincer or break issues. I was informed it was an electrical issue. Took my car to factory to find out it was the breaks and it would be cheaper to have them fix it. I go back to car x with a coupon and was told I have been driving to long on the bad break and it would be a little over 2000 to be done correctly. They also did not honor the coupon when I started to look at the charges. Went across the street and was quoted 700. I don't know if they were trying to screw me or if they just did not know what they were doing.

Needed a flat tire looked at. Didn t have an appointment; just walked in and they fit me in in-between their existing appointments. Figured out the problem quickly and I was on my way in half an hour. Good experience.

They bent the rocker arm on my minivan while doing an oil change. They did pay for damages, but i had to run around dealing with multiple auto repair places for the fix.

Excellent experience. Professional I recommend them . I believe Michael is who I delt with computer said they had no tires the size i needed but he went back and checked . Awesome attitude friendly didnt hold any information back . Was in and out .. over all perfect . Forever greatful

UPDATEstill never resolved months later. Was supposed to get a refund via check sent to me. Never got the damn thing so filing a claim on their insurance for starters,They ve had my daughter s car for over a month for a brake job (pads, calibers rear). The master cylinder ended up drying out so they had to replace that then they replaced it again cause they broke that one .and again cause they broke that one. Finally said it was done yesterday and released it to my wife and daughter. On the way home my daughter tells me her cruise won t work and you have to push the brakes all of the way to the floor. Today I drove it and the brakes failed completely and had to use the parking break to avoid rear ending some idiot sitting in the middle of the highway.So today I am back here again, waiting on the new manager (Michael) to stop avoiding me so we can get this issue resolved. I ll update my review afterwards accordingly, but until then I wish I could put less than a star!

I scheduled service via Amazon tire replacement. Appointment was scheduled for 10:00. I got there at 10:00, it took 30 minutes just to check in. I was told it would take 1.5-3 hours to complete two tire replacements and an alignment. After waiting 20 minutes, I left planning on coming back later. I called at 11:15 and they said they got one tire done and working on the second now. I didn t hear anything until 1:15 and went back. They said they just completed the second tire and they were getting it on the alignment rack now and said it would take another hour and a half minimum. I decided not to get the alignment. Getting in my car, the glove compartment wasn t closed correctly (assuming this was to check the cabin air filter? ) and I had to take this out and reassemble it correctly. My vehicle also had a distinct cigarette smell. Avoid if possible!Since I can t reply to the comment below I did call this number before writing a review based upon other negative comments. Details are important, and context is queen, but the most precise and concise thing I can say about the business to a stranger reading reviews is: Jason, the store manager, is an incredibly good soul. Seriously you can just tell this guy is trying his best to do right by people. There s a level of authenticity and kindness there that s remarkable in the current social climate. I told a friend after, If I were a tech, I would want to work for a leader like that. This is the power of good human-ing. And it only took once. Took my car here because my tire pressure light was on and I asked them to check the tire that was low. They said they took it off and checked and it was fine, the light was off. A few days later the light came back on so I took it to another shop, they found the leak quickly with spray. I called this shop back to ask for a refund of what they charged me and they said they wouldn t refund.Service: Tires

My last feed back to CARX was around 3 years back with 5 star rating and I became returning customer ever since. But after last week threatening experience with one of the front desk associate at this CARX location, I m not sure if I will return back. The experience started with a lie on the day of my regular car service visit, that I was informed about my rear shock leakage during my previous service visit (which I just got to know then) and when I went back with old service papers, he accepted that he missed reading car tires with car shocks (really?). This experience ended with an act of threatening and anger on my 2nd visit following that week (last week) after I got both the rear shocks replaced with CARX. I requested him to show me faulty shock before replacing (I mentioned twice) but he didn t called me up to show them and after replacing he showed me both shocks how they are damaged. When I asked him if he could ensure that if both rear shocks were bad or just one, that made him so angry that he had my replaced rear shocks in his hands and he banged it on the desk (which shook me up) and said with anger why do you come back here when you don t believe us. I told him that I got second opinion a day before with honda service center in town and they confirmed just one shock is bad and needed to be replaced. I m not sure who is lying, the honda service center or this carx service center which really doesn t matters to me or the money I spent becoz in any case I would have replaced both shocks, it s about the experience he gave me which I m not able to forget. I m very sure that he needs to work on his anger management to people talking politely to him and specially having a toddler with them at the service center. Unacceptable behavior.

This Car-X completely misdiagnosed the noise coming from my car. They stated I need a new air compressor which they quoted would cost $850. I did not have a good feeling about the shop so I went to Vega s Market Auto Service based on a recommendation from a good friend. Vega s found that the noise was not at all due to the air compressor, but instead, I needed a new engine due to something completely different. Vega s was reliable, trustworthy and affordable.Also, this Car-X was completely gross. I do not think they have cleaned the waiting room in years and I was afraid to touch anything. I did not expect it to be as nice as a dealership, but I did expect them to have least wiped something down once in a while.Services: Tires, Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

This used to be my go-to place for car repairs, but in the last year or two, they've gotten way worse. I dont know if it's different management or less qualified employees, but I always have trouble here.First of all, a simple oil change and tire rotation takes an hr and a half even when I schedule an appointment in advance.Then recently, in October, I had a coolant leak and they told me I needed a new water pump and timing chain. They said it would take 2 days and they would communicate with me if there were any issues. So 2 days later I called and they said it would be done about noon. So I showed up at 1pm and they said they still had to put in the new water pump! So I left because I had to go to work. Then after not hearing from them, I called at 6pm. They told me "oh yeah we forgot to call you, they sent us the wrong part but it should hopefully be done tomorrow". So I call again the next day at 2:30. Again they didnt call me, I had to call them. They said they were finishing testing but if all goes well it would be done in about an hour. So I show up an hour later and they said there was an air bubble they had to work out and it wouldnt get done until Monday. I understand things happen, but they should have called and told me it wouldn't be done today so I didn't have to make the trip out. I called on Monday, and they said it wasn't done yet. Monday afternoon while I was at work, they said it was ready so I picked it up Tuesday morning, 6 days after I dropped it off. I will say that when I brought up my frustration, the guy up front did take some accountability and say they should have communicated better. Still was a very long and frustrating process.But the story isn't quite done because 3 months later my coolant runs out again! So I take it to Baird's Auto, who were very good and friendly and communicated well, and they told me it was likely Car X didnt work that air bubble out and so they didnt put as much coolant in the car as there should have been.Needless to say, I will not being going back to Car X

I am amazed at the number of positive reviews based on the service I have experienced over the last few years. Pride in one's work and quality has disappeared. I will share a few of my experiences.1. On one visit the shop kept my locking hub nut. This was not discovered until the next service. Since they were the only shop I used they replaced.2. On one occasion they left the oil pan nut loose and I had to return after seeing drips in my garage.3. On a couple of visits, the shop attendant couldn't even pull my car into the bay because it is a stick. Honestly, this does not create confidence in the person working on my car.4. The last few services, I have had to ask about the reminder sticker after an oil change. If they are forgetting to put this on the windshield, what else are they forgetting?5. On my last visit today, the guy needed to be shown how to put the car in reverse. When he returned the car, he ran the front air dam right up over the curb. I have a sports car and it sits very low. It was millimeters from hitting the curb. And again, there was no reminder put on the widow. Carelessness!Obviously, this shop no longer cares about a job well done or is careful with the customers' vehicle. Who knows what happens back in the shop? It is obviously time for me to look for a new shop. I kept returning with the hopes that I would have a good experience and that has not happened. DISAPPOINTING!!!Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

They accidentally drained the transition fluid instead of the oil!!! Just wow. Also, when we got there, we asked how long the oil change and tire rotation would take, and we re told they didn t know I ve got a full garage and short staffed . When I asked if it would be at least done in under two hours (we had a doctors appointment to get to), and still got no additional estimate. 1.5 hrs later, we were told it s just being finished up. 30+ minutes later, they were still troubleshooting a new check engine light (that they caused). Finally came out and said I was LUCKY, I m getting new transmitting fluid for free, because they accidentally drained it earlier. Since they have no shuttle service, I had to call my wife an Uber to get her to her appointment, which added to the cost. Been here 3 hours and they don t have the transition fluid to refill it. No estimate on time. Just called a family member to come get me so I can go get my wife from the doctor. Been going here with a variety of my cars for at least a decade. The customer service was atrocious. My scheduled appointment couldn t be found, so I missed time from work for no reason and I had to come back the next day. They didn t call me back at the scheduled time. They interrupted me when I spoke. They didn t perform all the services requested. They didn t add the discount I should receive until I reminded them. The courtesy shuttle was terrible. I was treated like I was an inconvenience with little to no apology for their mix-ups. I understand things can happen. And if anyone had been halfway apologetic and attempted to make it right, I actually would have been very understanding. I was very polite through the whole thing and but I will never return and I wouldn t suggest them to anyone ever again. It s not even remotely the same level of service it used to be.Service: Tires

I called Davis Tire & Auto asking for some help with replacing some bulbs that I couldn't get at myself due to complicated panel removal needing done. I called asking if they might consider a drop in, and Chris told me they could help me out within the hour. I brought my car in and within 10 minutes they had me out the door with a handshake and a great professional demeanor. I trust Davis for my other car needs, and they came through today when the dealership was going to cost me an arm and a leg just to replace a couple tricky-to-reach bulbs. To say that this was an excellent an experience is the just scratching the surface with these guys. My family and I have used Davis Tire often for all things related to our cars, and when I went in to get my tire patched after finding a nail and screw embedded, they were beyond pleasant, efficient and extremely considerate of my time. We were test driving a new car, and we stopped by CarX Tire and Auto because we wanted them to inspect the car and make sure everything worked properly before we bought it. We walked in and told them that we wanted an inspection, and Seth Kinder told us not to worry about it, and that he would give us a quick inspection for no money at all, even though there was a 2 hour wait! It took them 20 minutes, and everything looked great. Overall, an extremely friendly group of people that are clearly willing to go the extra mile for customers. They genuinely wanted to take care of us. Thanks Seth!

Went to them, because check engine light went on and brought it to them. They replace parts and the light was off for probably a day light came back on took it back to them. Had a trip coming up went on the trip lights back on paid $400 on parts and labor and problem is reoccurring, don t know if I ll end up going back to this company.
