Ray was very effecient! He got a quote for me in less than 10 minutes and it was $200 less than other muffler shops!!! Bob did such a awesome job replacing my resonator and muffler and got me in and out in little over an hour

I had my car serviced here recently for the second time. The first time was an oil change. I scheduled another appointment months later after my check engine light came on. It was just an odd appointment after getting there. The appointment was at 4pm, and I had offered to bring it in another day, reasoning there wasn't enough time to work on it, but I was told it wasn't necessary and they'll see what they can do. The mechanic made comments about just loving 4 o'clock appointments right there in front of me. I had the sense he was annoyed he had another car to work on so late in the day. They close at 6pm, and again, I did offer to bring it in another day. I almost felt like a burden by asking if they could look at the car. It definitely wasn't customer appreciation day or it ended the moment I stepped in. All in all, they fixed the car, which ended up being a sensor, and I thanked them for staying late, as it went past 6pm, to which the mechanic said nothing to, but just briskly nodded. I almost felt sheepishly apologetic for my car breaking down, thus forcing him to work on it so late in the day. They could stand to be a little nicer. I always thought the idea of running a business was to welcome customers, and not scare them away.

Great service, experienced personnel. They brought my sub back to life by addressing several problems. They provide pictures of their findings so I felt confident in having them fix the issues with the vehicle.

Do not trust this place. I went there for a brake inspection because my brakes were making noise. I get a call back from one of the guys the next day saying that my brakes didn t need changing. He said we didn t even inspect it. You can tell from the outside they re still good I pick up my truck & the brakes noises continued. I took it to another mechanic shop and turns out my back brakes were already metal to metal! Midas was lazy to inspect my truck and rather lied to me and sent me home with bad brakes. How dangerous is that. DONT BOOK HERE.

We had a 2:00 appointment for an oil change. Got there on time (actually early) and manager told us all the guys were out to lunch. Car was finally taken in to get serviced at 2:35. It is now 4:05 and they are still working on the car. Taking over two hours for a basic oil change is ridiculous. . Oh wait, the mechanic just came out and said they forgot to put in the new oil filter....doh!We actually also had a 3:00 appointment for an oil change for our other car. Needless to say that appointment was cancelled. We didn t get home until 4:30.Cannot recommend using Berwyn Midas. We will certainly never use this place again.

They don't accept certain oil change coupon even tho their site sent me here. The wait is still long with an appointment, Good news..the Service is great, very detail & staff is friendly

Midas goes above and beyond for its customers. Everyone is more than qualified and knowledgeable in every aspect! It is truly a coordinated effort! Never once had an issue with my car after service nor their pricing! Will always chose this location for service on my vehicle!

This place is a complete rip off. Please avoid. Took my car in to replace the brakes which were under warranty. They stated I needed new rotors. The rotors were brand new they were barely replaced a few months ago and the brakes weren t creating grooves into them. When I confronted them about it they were saying it was against the law to change the brake pads without changing the rotors. They are a complete joke. Please go elsewhere. Don t trust these guys

Everyone at Midas in Berwyn, IL is so kind and courteous to me. They have done excellent work in repairing my car over the past year that I have been taking my car there. Would recommend to anyone.

Detailed and honest. Went in with a diagnosis of a full brake job for my 2019 Grand Caravan. Ray and his guys took a look and found that they could fix my problem with a way simpler fix saving me hundreds. Clearly there here to do a job and not take advantage of you. Button fell off of the gear shift. It was a special order that had to come from Honda, and they had car complete by Thursday afternoon. They also noticed that all of my back lights were out, and replaced everything. I am glad that I started to take my car here many years ago. Work was done so far right and very clean. Very professional and friendly service. The cost of the work is the only issue I have. Was very costly. I may have been able to take it somewhere else for less but I have done my work with Midas for over two three years and they have done good work. Ray Mc Carthy assisted me with my brake service and was very thorough in explaining what I needed done.The facility was clean and hospitable in regards to offering courtesy coffee and water.The wait for the work to be completed was lengthy, but overall everything worked out pretty well. Please be very mindful going to this location I took my car in for brake noises when I made turns. They looked at my car found everything wrong but the problem I took it in for. Found 1200 dollar worth of work would have been more but I told them 1200 was to much thank god I stopped it there. Well not one thing wrong with my transmission during the visit. 2 weeks later my car starts acting up. I reached out to the location and brought my car in when I left my car I asked the gentleman Bill if I may have something in writing I brought the car back he laughed and said for a zero balance were checking it for free, Mind you I was able to drive my car in that morning after they "rechecked my car" I got a call to pick it up 2 hours later he said my car transmission was going out I asked why wasn't this found when they charged me the 1200 no word about my trans. As I left the parking lot my car died out within two blocks and I needed a tow. It was worser then when I took it in a few hours earlier. I tried to speak to the manger no help very rude customer service I received they didn't even change my oil sticker from sept when I took it in before which I asked about 2 times. Corp called me to hear about the situation Mark I believe and he even sounded concerned and said he would call me back guess what no call back. I am a single mother who works as a nurse I love helping people very sad to say I received no help but criticism , false promises, no call back and extremely rude customer service. I know Midas did something to my transmission how was I able to drive it there that morning and need a new transmission after they "checked it". Corporate couldn't even keep their word by give a simple call back so sad.Please be very careful going to this location more so even with something simple as a oil change that they can't even change a sticker to let customers know when to go back for their oil change. I have filed a complaint with BBB I suggest everyone who has one star rating this last year on these google reviews do the same.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have gone to Midas several times. But unfortunately, this time around, they have disappointed me greatly. I took a 2011 Traverse to get checked for a check engine light. They told me it was a coil cylinder and spark plugs which would total $900 agreed to fix it. I picked up the vehicle, and within less than 24hrs, the check engine light was on again. I took it a second time; they now stated it was the catalytic converter and asked if there was any other issue I should know. They said only transmission codes, but they do not deal with the transmission. Agreed to fix it for a little over $1,000. Picked it up the next day same issue. They took it a third time, stating it is now the right-side converter. They either do not know what they are doing or just scamming customers. Because before taking it the third time, I took it to a different mechanic shop to get an opinion, and they told me it was the left catalytic converter I had done with Midas.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We've used this Midas for my mother-in-law's car repair for years, and recently I had my muffler and oil changed there. The staff is friendly and professional. In every instance, they've given prompt, quality service, and the prices are reasonable/within range of what's expected. Be sure to ask if they have any coupons or promotions running on the service you need.Services: Exhaust, Engine repair, Oil change
