I have been taking my vehicles here for a long long time now and they are the only ones I trust working on anything of mine. They are clean, hard working, and very honest. I recommend this place to everyone I know. 10/10

These guys are exceptionally fair, good hearted, and kind. My husband and I were moving across country when the car broke down. They were able to help us right away and get our car working again so quickly. We can t thank them enough for helping us get to our new home.

My husband and I were on our way to Murphysboro to camp for the weekend when our van started sputtering and eventually stalled on the highway. It was Friday around 1pm, and nearly every auto shop was closed. After calling AAA and getting a tow, we went to the closest place that would take us: Zimmerman s. Fortunately for us, it was the best shop to end up divinely planned, it seems. We needed a new fuel pump. Not only did they squeeze us into an already busy schedule, but they happened to have a fuel pump on hand, so we were back on the road within two hours, and they charged very reasonably. I wish we lived closer we would bring our van back for all our needs. We cannot thank them enough for not only saving our weekend of camping, but also saving us from being stranded!

These guys are one in a million! Honest, hard working, and just "good people" overall. I went in expecting a $500 to $1500 estimate and repair, they looked into the issue and found it was a bad oil filter and charged less than 10% of what I had expected. Happy doesn't even come close.

Wonderful experience after getting stranded by my vehicle. I unexpectedly spent the night in Benton, IL due to my truck breaking down on a Sunday afternoon while traveling to Nashville, I called Zimmerman's first thing the next morning, and despite his indication of a full schedule that day squeezed me in. A family owned business that treated me like family. They dropped me off at a local restaurant for breakfast, and picked me up from the hotel I stayed at when my vehicle was ready early that afternoon. Price seemed fair, service was outstanding.

Highly recommended to anybody traveling. My daughter called me when her check engine light started flashing while driving on the highway, me (dad)being three hours away went into panic mode . Called Zimmerman's Garage and explained the situation and they got her right in. Installed a new plug and coil for the misfire and back on the road in no time. Thanks for saving the day when dad couldn t.!!!!!

We found ourselves stranded at a nearby rest stop near closing time. The attendant at the rest stop recommended we contact Zimmerman's. They towed us to the shop, diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, replaced it and got us back on the road all in about 90 minutes. In spite of this running them just after quitting time, they never once turned sour. They provided prompt economical, efficient service with a smile and a nod. We took our minivan in because of issues turning, noisy front end, misfire, and leaking radiator. We were initially told they were booked up for 2 to 3 weeks and they would try to work it in. They had the vehicle for 2 days and it was fixed. They were very reasonably priced and always courteous and let me know what was happening every step of the way. We had a wheel hub and bearing changed, a new radiator put in, a tune up, and a new clock spring. Well that's all that was on the bill. I believe they fixed the issue with our exhaust as well. The van runs even better than the day we bought it. Thank to Zimmerman's for being and honest and trustworthy business. We will definitely recommend you to everyone.

A pulley went out through a belt off on my F150 engine on I 57 near Benton exit, truck was overheating, managed to get it to Zimmerman s after making a call to Mark(the owner), they had the parts(pulley and belt) within an hour and I was back on the road. Tech who handled it was professional and could tell he knew what he was doing. I m sure they could have ran the bill up, but they didn t. Too bad I don t live near them. I d trust them with any work to be done .

I just picked up my van from them. They got it in and fixed it up quick. You'll have to wait for a day he can schedule a appt. But once you take it up there, he's fast. His wife in office is super friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back. Amazing customer service. Great prices. Even can pick your car up.

Very honest and fair organization. My son was having car trouble (Overheating) on his trip back to Arkansas from northern Indiana. They had him back on the road in no time. They could have easily taken advantage of us but they just added the coolant he needed charged him a more than fair price and sent him on his way. Thank you Zimmerman's!

I have been so happy with this business! They have always been fair in price and done such a great job on fixing the issues I have had with my vehicle. I will never let any other place touch my car because it is in the best hands here at Zimmerman's Garage. They even sell homemade treats like fudge which was AMAZING I would eat it everyday if I could. Highly recommend trusting your vehicle with these people, they are trustworthy which is not easy to find these days in this business. Thank you Zimmermans!

Zimmerman's was recommended to me by my boss and her husband. Starter went out in my car, I needed it towed from the Goreville area. They were extremely reliable fair on price and relatively quick with fixing the problem.. I definitely won't take my car anywhere else after this. Honesty and a fair price is extremely hard to come by to come by, so when you find it stay with it!!!!

Evvery experience I've had has been great except for my broken auto! You can depend on exceptional honesty,integrity and friendly service. Best garage I have had the pleasure to need. By far the best and the fairest prices. Truly a breath of fresh air in a jumbled world.

Hands down the best mechanic I've ever found. They usually get things done pretty quickly but even if it takes a day or two (depending on how big the job is) its well worth it in my mind because they are honest & fair with pricing. Mr. Zimmerman took the time to advise me on making some pretty big decisions about my GM Acadia (least reliable car on Earth) and was honest about whether or not it was worth it to spend the money to fix the car. I've used a TON of mechanics and Zimmermans is the only one I've even considered leaving a review on. I highly recommend them.

The most professional, knowledgeable, and kind mechanics I've dealt with - they really know what they're doing. I went to another mechanic to deal with a sound I was hearing while driving and the other mechanic told me it was all sorts of things - I paid for new struts and other suspension work and continued to hear the sound. I abandoned that mechanic and took it to Zimmerman's and they found the cause of the sound right away - a piece of plastic that was rubbing against the car. Zimmerman's also fixed my leaking transmission coolant lines after the other mechanic said it was the water pump. 10/10 definitely recommend them, they have a lifelong customer in me.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Driving thru downstate Illinois heading north towards Edwardsville when all four tires locked up - 2 hours from destination. Picked Zimmerman's Garage from Google maps. They came within 30 minutes and towed us to the garage (and our little dog, too). Repairs took overnight, and they were very helpful in getting us a car to complete our journey that evening. Came back the next day at noon to pick up our car without a problem.Very pleased with their services, and the BBQ pork was pretty good, too!Cannot recommend them enough.Service: Brakes

Changed out a starter & valve cover gaskets on our Chrysler, did a great job. Had it done in two days which was awesome. Very good price too!
