Love these guys. They fixed my 86 g20 van in no time and gave me a soild price. Will DEFINITELY be back. Matter of fact I'm taking it back Monday morning.

It's not often you find a mechanic you feel safe with. Aaron is very knowledgeable, has fair repair prices and he prioritizes things properly. I work on cars a bit and usually only go to shops for the major things, and a lot of shops don't have the customer's best interest in mind when they give a laundry list of things they see wrong. It's good to be aware, but not in an overwhelming way. Aaron has a great approach to troubleshooting problems and he's earned my trust. I recommend Centerline Automotive whole heartedly.

Centerline Auto Repair in Bensenville is THE place to go for repair work on your car. Twice now I've gone there and twice I've been very glad I did. If you want expert work done at a reasonable cost, not to mention being treated like a valued customer then go there. I wish I knew about this place 20 years ago, it would've made going to a mechanic a lot better experience than I've had. He may not have been there 20 years ago but you get the point. He can handle many different types of repair and he stands by his work. I saw an earlier review where someone complained about the work he had done but Aaron the owner responded to that review and asked "why didn't you just call and tell me what the problem was with the service?" He would've fixed it for that reviewer. When I mentioned that to him, he said I know, my customers should always call if there's an issue and let me fix whatever it was that caused the dissatisfaction. For my money, that's the answer someone gives when they genuinely care about the work they do for their customers. At any rate, I had no issues with the work I had done and also am extremely satisfied. A place like Centerline should get credit for doing good work at a fair price and guaranteeing it. Had some car issues and went to go see Aaron. He gets you in quick, doesn't over charge, and fixes your issue. I'd recommend this place! :)

My car was down since December 2021 so I took it to a mechanic in Waukegan who failed to give me updates when I would call about my car, I would show up in person because he was not answering my text or calls to find out that my car was still waiting for parts that by the way were not even ordered. I get my car and it breaks down again on the highway so I decided to take it back and was told that it was other issues and not of those from the repairs. I was told that it would cost me 1080.00 for new repairs to bring it back in a few days, Clearly that mechanic did not want business, I was at work and during lunch I found Centerline Automotive three minutes away so I took it in and Aaron took care of me immediately, he said I would have my car ready next day which was Saturday but did not get parts in until the following Monday. He had my car ready at a reasonable price less than half the amount given to me by the other mechanic. This guy is honest and really cares about his customers and treats them with so much respect, I am definitely coming here from now on. This is a small shop but goodness, please come see this guy and check it out yourself. I'm very satisfied and referring all my friends and family here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fantastic service! I couldn't figure out why the front half of my car's electrical system wasn't working ( Including power steering and brake engage) I'm not the type of person to bring my car to a mechanic if I don't have to so I messed with it for a week before calling Centerline.Big mistake on my part.. I contacted Aaron and brought my car in on a Friday and he had it diagnosed, fixed and running by Monday! With constant updates. Now I won't hesitate to call them for a problem right off the bat. Aaron took the time to really ask me the right questions and get my problem solved and just generally seems like a downright good person. For that I will continue going to Centerline for anything I need and I now tell everyone I know about them.Service: Electrical

Erin is an amazing person. I woke up this morning get in my car and my catalytic converter was stolen. I called around looking for prices and got to speak with him. He definitely cares about his community and even though I didn't have the work done with him he was able to refer me to someone else to do the work. His doing this made my stress just a bit less intense. In doing so seeing that he is a caring person this is someone I will definitely do business with in the near future. Thank you so much. You have done more for me than you know.

If such a thing as an honest mechanic exists, it's this guy Aaron. I come all the way from Chicago to this shop for a pace of mind and excellent customer service that I am yet to experience at a pep boys, Sears auto, jiffy lube and other box store auto shops. This guy is nice and polite and treats his customers like family. This is my fourth time here and this auto shop has been the very best in my experience. Plus it's good to help locally owned American auto shops.

I would like to thank all the staff here for their time and help. Their turn around time is exceptionally fast, and does not impact quality of service. They are able to help diagnose, and in most cases, repair the issues the same day, and if not, able to help you procure a loaner vehicle to help you.

My alternator was kaput and I needed it replaced. Aaron was super confident he could get it done. When I got to the shop he greeted me right away and gave me a quote by using a computer program. I thought that was awesome since he didn't just make up a price. The work took a bit longer than it should have but he still stayed on the quoted price. What a guy!!! Just because it isn't on the main road doesn't mean he doesn't know his stuff. I will be returning, but hopefully not soon.

I selected Centerline to conduct a third-party inspection of a used Honda Pilot I was considering at a nearby dealer. The good reviews are here for a reason. Very friendly and accommodating in addition to a thorough and fair assessment. He was able to inspect the car with little delay and short notice. His inspection gave me the confidence to purchase the vehicle. Highly recommended.

Aaron is a fantastic mechanic that has always been honest with all the work he does. He says it like it is, only fixes what needs work, and can really help me out when a DIY job falls apart. When my truck had a ball joint snap, my local mechanic wanted to charge me for a new axel, and two new ball joints. I just couldn't afford that on my old rust bucket. Had it towed to Aaron, and had it turned around for a fraction of the cost. He warned me that the axel might need replacement, but will only do it if necessary. Turns out, he had it all repaired, saving the axel, and only changing one ball joint. Saved me over a grand. my car was making a weird sound and it was the alternator bearing going bad.i was looking for a respectful place to get some work done and not have to go through a lot of B.S doing it. i seen an add placed on craigslist and called.i spoke to Aaron the owner and he honored the add and did the work in a few hours as promised,he didn't come on like a lot of places trying to sell you the world but pointed out future work i may need and i totally respect that. Aaron and his crew were so nice and friendly and myself like honest people they will work with you on pricing and time.i left with a very good feeling and extra money in my pocket.so if your in need of work i truly suggest giving Aaron a call cause you'll be surprised at the true workmanship of his team thanks again Aaron i told all my friends your one of the few auto guys left that can walk the walk

I went in there to do a undercoating, and the guy running the show was super knowledgeable. He not only gave me a super reasonable quote for my oversized car, but he also answered a bunch of questions I had about the procress. You can tell hes passionate about his work and cares about his customers. Thank you!

Very good prices, honest personalized service. Prices are 10 to 30 percent less than other automotive repair shops. Had pothole damage on my Dodge and it was repaired with American parts for a great price. My dad bought a car from this place and two years later he sold it for 1500 more than he paid, so this is a great place to buy a car for three to ten thousand dollars.

Probably one of the best shops that I have been to yet. Aaron is very helpful and informative and goes beyond what most mechanics Will offer you. Very reasonable prices and very very fast service. They are stand up guys and their work proves it. reasonable prices, fast services and HONESTY is what you will get.

Went in to get my steering issue fix. I told him the steering is tight. I also wanted him to check my brakes because the truck drove as if the brake was depressed at all times. After 2 days, he tells me the power steering pump needs to be replaced. I told him go ahead and fix it. Another 2 days it took for the repair. Went to pick up my truck, and the steering was the same. My truck's interior had oil on the door and steering and wheel.He said my intermediate shaft needs to be replaced. He said there was nothing wrong with my brakes. So I spend $400 for a power steering pump that was not the issue. I changed the shaft myself and it drove perfect. Today I had to take it to the mechanic because I noticed the brakes were leaking fluid. They said the caliper is locked up and now I need new rotors and pads on top of the new calipers. Never going here again!!!!!

Aaron and his team of professionals went out of their way to promptly diagnose and fix my check engine light issue. They were friendly, professional, educational as to what happened and VERY TRUSTWORTHY! They also checked my tire pressure and adjusted to meet mfr specs! I will be making the short drive to Bensenville for ALL of my auto repair and body work needs! Thanks Aaron and Centerline Automotive!

My Son had car trouble at work in O Hare field parking lot, I went through google to find a repair shop nearby, called Centerline, never met nor been to his shop.
