Anthony P great customer service, attentive and patient! Car buying sucks because it takes forever if you re financing but he was a good company keeper. He showed me options and didn t try to convince me to buy what he picked to show me. I said no he took it back! I purchased a used but newer vehicle with low miles and got a payment just a hair above what I asked for. I m confident in the vehicle and I feel good about my purchase. The way car buying should be! Not waking up the next day with regret!

Beyond left for words! Johnny left us speechless! Nothing but amazing things to say about Johnny and Josh! Talk about getting a job done with a smile on faces! I took my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Eco Diesel in because it wouldn't start on first attempt. Jonathan and the whole team there at Kunes Belvidere took excellent care of my "baby". It was an extensive repair and he not only handled my claim with Carshield but kept in touch with me throughout the process and I got her back when he said I would.Everyone in the service department from Chad, Joe and Jonathan have always been helpful, conscientious and truthful. From a quick phone call to a salesman, Rigo, about a used van, with a no pressure sales. The experience was great. Of course they want to sell you a car, but the sales team makes sure the car you needs and wants, is what you get. The entire sales management team takes time with you if needed to see to it you are comfortable with the vehicle of your choice and the payments and terms suit you well.

Terrible experience buying my truck. Very much the used car salesman experience. My truck has had nothing but problems since I bought it. Lucky for them, I work 7 days and 6 nights a week 365. Never been lied to so much from a car place, and their service dept is the same. Wish I would have had the time to look elsewhere. Stay clear, no integrity and constantly lieing

Be careful when shopping for vehicles at Kunes dealers. In Sterling, IL, and Belvidere, IL, they will lie through their teeth to get you in their store. I called before going there and was told both times they had the vehicle available I was inquiring about. When I arrived, in both cases, they had been sold weeks before. I was even told in Belvidere that's how they get you in the store. And, yet, they tout Christian principles on their sign. They do not put the customer first. They put the sale, any sale, first. I'm not a fan. Hope your experience is better than mine.

After much consideration I ordered a truck from Kunes RAM of Belvidere.When I was placing my order I was told, verbally, I would receive $4k for my trade in and that I could make changes to the order for a few days after the order was in. The salesman I had was NOT pushy, that was nice, so despite being on the fence about a couple items I placed the order. After a couple days I contacted the salesman and let him know of a couple minor changes I wished to make. I received confirmation of the changes both verbally and through email.When my truck arrived the minor changes I had requested had not been made. Lesson one, purchase when you know 100% what you want.When we sat down to review the paperwork I was now offered $1k for my trade in rather than the $4k originally agreed. I didn t expect them to uphold the $4k verbal offer, but I did expect it to be close. Lesson two, trade in (sell) your vehicle while the salesman is trying to make the sale.After spending two hours waiting and negotiating the value of my trade in, I eventually conceded to $2500. This was largely because after that amount of time my wife and kids who were bored out of their minds. Lesson three, leave the kids at home. Lesson four, be prepared to set aside a large chunk of your time, or purchase from someone who respects your time. Despite the charade put on by the dealership, purchasing a vehicle does not actually take very long.After agreeing to the price we were taken into another room where some manager tried to sell us an extended warranty. Now if you buy new from Kunes you get a lifetime engine and transmission warranty, the original salesman told me how great it was, but now that the purchase was complete the manager s job was to tell me how terrible that warranty was and how I should buy this better one I think that is the definition of shiesty. Lesson five, don t trust any of them?Finally! I made it out! I love my truck and the stars in this review are for the RAM 2500 which has met every expectation and the low pressure sales team.Now, three months go by and I get a phone call asking if I want to come in for an oil change . Uuh, no, it does not need one yet And that was the start of the continual barrage of phone calls, texts, and emails asking if I want to come in for an oil change or look at new vehicles which continue to this day. Lesson six, get ahead of this one early and ask them to stop.Review of Kunes maintenance dept:I have not had any issues with the actual maintenance work done, but the administration is rough.I ve called, explained the issue, made an appointment, then when I arrived they told me they don t fix that and to take it somewhere else???You don t need an appointment for an oil change, but when I arrive there are six cars ahead of me so they recommend I setup an appointment. Okay. I came back for my appointment and ended up waiting nearly 3 hours?!?!

From the time I walked in, Luigi has made my car buying experience amazing. I asked for a lot of information because I had narrowed the field down to two vehicles, and not once did he make me feel like a bother. As helpful and resourceful as he was helping me find the information I was looking for, what really separates him from my previous purchases is his availability and patience after my decision. He has went over and above to answer my questions post sale. I would highly suggest Kunes and Luigi!!! Thank you again for making me comfortable through this process!!!

I came in without an appointment due to a small accident with a stationary object. The result was a portion of the plastic by the front tire head detached and it and some of its screws were rubbing against the right front tire interior sidewall Staff quickly assessed the situation and determined that they would put my Jeep Gladiator up on the lift, remove the tire, and cut and remove the damaged and bent plastic proective wheel well cover. The tire was inspected, determined to be undamaged, and replaced on the boots. I was in and out in less than an hour and it was only a slightly over $100. Staff was friendly, explained what was done and asked me if I had any questions. It was a five-star experience and I am so pleased that they could react in such a quick fashion when I didn't even have an appointment! This continues the positive, competent, and friendly experiences I have had with Kunes Jeep Chrysler when I have regular scheduled appointments with them!

Financing department is garbage. Sold me on a 13% interest loan and attempted to add in tons of extra costs at closing. Also rescinded their offer of 4 free oil changes down to 2 and I even had to fight for those two. And these free services were offered on a whim from sales team manager after I waited for 6 hours for financing department to draw up my paperwork. Terrible service.

Went to a couple dealerships with my fianc�e, was approved but the other salesman s were not attending to our questions, or even bothering to try and help. Went on the website and got a call right away! The car we originally wanted was gone in a short amount of time. Gavin answered a lot of questions and showed us a beautiful horizon blue Kia optima. Don t get me wrong not a huge Kia fan! Gavin was working hard to get us approved we took the car for a test drive!!!! Car drove fantastic and Gavin also explained that they have put a lot of work into it!! I m very happy with the purchase of the car!! After getting my hopes up. Gavin manages to get me into something that was reasonable and barely any credit!! I appreciate all the help that you helped us with! Definitely will be back to get my son s first car!

My initial car buying experience was great, but my follow-up has been less than pleasant.I have had the car less than 2 years. When I began to experience my check engine light continuously coming on. During an oil change thet reset it. That visit was horrible, the staff allowed me to stand at the desk for approximately 3 minutes without 1 person greeting me, or to question if I had been helped. When it was time to pay the women inside at the payment desk ignored my presence to complete a non-work related and completely unprofessional conversation before looking up to still not offer me service. I had to bring to their attention my need. I since have stopped taking my car for oil change services.Unfortunately, I have recently had to return due to the check engine light consistently being lit and a terrible shaking in my front end. Again, this process to merely get this problem assessed has been HORRBLE! They rushed to diagnose my car at 4pm after having it all day (drop off time around 8am) in 2023. At that time the Associate did not notate my account. I called them back, after being promised a follow-up in about 3-4 days. Due to the fact I needed a loaner they mentioned I would hear from them later about getting my car in for service.Fast forward 3 months later in 2024. I reached out to the same Associate about the same problem with my check-engine light. The shaking has worsened due to driving without fixing it. It was at this time I learned they did not notate my car's diagnosis, contact the warranty or order parts. Because they asked me to bring my vehicle back in for an assessment without a promised pick-up time. I dropped my vehicle off at 9am with a promise to hear from them in a couple hours. The associate at drop off did not at least greet me with a hello, he simply began to type in the computer and again asked questions that should have been noted on the account because we had spoken 3-4 days prior. By noon, I had to call, and check on my vehicle for him to state that he wanted to wait to hear from the warranty company. I would be ok with that, but I received a text message when dropping the car off, so I know they have the ability to give that update much sooner rather than leave me wondering. I am not pleased with the service because I believe there are better ways to communicate the wait, and set an expectation and follow through on how this process will work. I understand short staff, no loaner issues. I do not understand rude, short answers, and no follow up. I am still waiting to find out what the warranty company has reported and what to expect (cost, length without a vehicle, will I receive a loaner, what are my options) as far as repairs are concerned.After voicing my concerns, the

Buying experience went fairly smooth. Salesman was personable & very professional. The only opportunity was the financing. I was offered financing through the dealership, with no payment for 90 days. I came into the dealership & asked the salesperson about the no payment for 90 days. He said he would check & he came back & said yes. I went into sign the papers with the financial person and was told first payment would be next month. I inquired about that & was told no payments for 90 days less than 10 minutes ago after he checked with you. Finance person said on 2018 they could not do no payment for 90 days. That was disappointing as I asked several times about that issue on the phone & in the dealership. I planned my finances around that scenario. Overall, a decent experience, however that miscommunication was a bit of a downer for me.

Never take your car to this place.AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts tested my car's batteries 1 day before I took the car to you, they were in good condition, but you said it needed new batteries.I just accepted the battery change as there was no other option as the car was in your workshop and they said that this was the problem and after they found the real problem, the starter motor.They gave me prices for parts to repair my car, but when I called the parts department, they gave me lower prices.My car was in your workshop so they charge extra for parts, a company you cannot trust.I removed a part that is on top of the batteries (it is an air duct) you never informed me that a part was missing from my car, I only realized when I arrived at my house, what kind of inspection do you do there? I'm sure none.You didn't check fluid levels, tire pressure.
