My shop has replaced at least 10 if not more faulty 6l80 torque converters from total transmissions chicago and they don't stand behind anything. Multiple calls with no support. We will no longer be using them.

Got 2 converters from them and no problems. Would recommend doing business with them anytime.

The converter lasted 300 miles. It was rated to 550 HP. My car made 375 to the wheel. I ended up buying another Converter from someone eles. Total Transmission. Chicago gets 0 stars from me.

I bought a torque converter over 2 years ago through ebay. I eventually installed it well after purchase and it works fine to this day. Although the tool converter has a 1-year warranty on it it still works fine and no problems. I highly recommend ones doing business with Total Transmission Chicago.

Terrible service called and ordered a conveter for my 4l60e transmission the sent the wrong one and which cause my pump to break both ears off making it non functional then I call back and have to pay for a new pump where I spent over $100 for NDA didn't receive it for 4 days after the fact and was promised a refund, never received any call back or refund. Tony will give you the run around and blame everyone but himself and then will not return or answer any calls. Don't recommend them to anyone

Mike and Tony were helpful. 4l80e converter with a stall for drag racing. Quick helpful service. Will use again and refer them. Not a paid review, just a guy looking for reliable, quick turn around race converter

Took my OEM torque converter from my classic Mustang to them for rebuild and upgrade to 2500 stall. They were polite, professional and their price was extremely reasonable.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Awesome customer service. Th350 Pump was defective. They not only replaced the pump but also all components that were damaged. Also even fixed the torque converter. Highly recommend

Ordered with their assistance and everything went great. I got my items very fast before the projected delivery date. I expect these parts to last. As bad as it was to have a breakdown, I am glad I chose Total Transmissions

I purchased a tourqe converter from there ebay store and they said free shipping but packaged wrong with usps and i was charged $90 for them using the wrong box then thy will not pay or share the charges

I purchased a 2500 stall for a 4l65e. It has worked perfectly so far. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again

Fantastic customer service!! We ordered a torque converter and accidentally ordered the wrong one for our vehicle. We returned it and they sent us the right one at no extra cost!!

Built a transmission for my cummins had 20 miles on it with TTC pump and converter. Had 20 miles on the trans and lost all gears. Pulled apart and stator support bolts backed out. My builder fixed it. I sent the converter back to have it cleaned and inspected. Tony took care of everything and was very professional...i will go to them from now on. Even with issues ill give it 5! Thanks tony

There transmissions start slipping as soon as it gets to southern states ( over 80 F ). They are only ok for Canada ... They use low end pads on disks ... Never buy from them
