Bad customer service.Went to your store on St. Charles Road in Bellwood today to purchase wiper blades for 2017 Kia Soul.The clerk (believe he was a manager) looked up the part number and after giving me attitude for asking if there was a book or computer for me to look them up...went over to get them off the shelf. He comes back with a $60 pair and a gallon of windshield washer fluid...and tells me that I would save money on the blades if I purchased the fluid also.I see the plan was to get me to spend as much money as he could even though I explained to him that I only wanted an inexpensive pair.It didn't work.I went home and order a pair from Amazon for $24.Won't be back.

If the store opens at 730am I m still waiting outside at 733am just to be told she is not opening the store until she gets another person a short Hispanic lady with glasses . If your job policy states that we open at 730 but you re not allowed to open until another person is in the store with you then their hours need to be changed

Lionell was great! I needed a new battery, he walked me through choosing the right battery, installed it, offered advice and referrals for another car issue and refused my gratuity attempt. Excellent service, warm, welcoming, and informative. Thank you!

Went there last Saturday for brake pads gave them my vin number I needed front and back pads, they stated that they have the front but not the back, so they called Northlake auto zone and asked them did they have them in stock, they said they have them, so I paid there and went to Northlake on North Avenue, picked up the back brake pads and went back to the garage where my car was being repaired, the guy tried to put them on but didn't fit, he complained them to the old brake pads and told me they gave me the wrong set, so I took the old and new pads to the original store and showed them the difference they finally gave me the right set, what a waste of time I had that day

Rude mgr Nancy embarrassed me in front of two customers and 2 employees after coughing attack triggered once inside store. Waiting for regional mgr response. Was promised within 24 hrs. Has been 48 thus far, no response. Also went back following day to see if problem still there, it was not and had a nice experience, different crew. Advised AutoZone to close out complaint. I think I know the problem with shopping here.

My family and I were traveling back from a vacation in southern Illinois when the check engine light began to flash continuously and we brought our car to the nearest AutoZone for diagnostic advice. We were 45 miles from our home. It was almost closing time on a Saturday night and we were treated with respect and professionalism by John who came out to look at our vehicle for possible problems that could be causing the light to be in. John was very informative and careful as he checked a few things then assured us we would make it home safely with the advice to bring our car to the mechanic as soon as possible. We did make it home OK and because of John s kindness and excellent customer service we did not have the stressful 45 minute journey home we would have had otherwise. We were very impressed by his knowledge and wish to thank him for all his help. John is an outstanding employee and I will continue to use AutoZone in the future as John is an excellent representative of the kind of people hired by this company.

Very fast friendly service. I needed rotors and breaks to have someone change them. So i couldn't leave to pick up the parts, my breaks and rotors were shot , so I called and was able to pay by phone and have my mechanic pick it all up. The gentlemen on the phone was knowledgeable, and helpful.

This place is very close to my house so it's very convenient to get to. The people that work in their always treated me great. I've never had any problems their as far as customer service goes. If I needed help finding something they were great in helping me.

I needed a battery for my remote and the cashier wouldn't even help me with getting the back to put the battery in. He didn't want to be responsible if it breaks.

I don t complete many reviews but I feel like this one is warranted. I came in to buy a light for my back brakes and I was greeted warmly by Alfredo. He immediately begin to assist me by looking at my car and determining what type of light I need. I didn t know that auto zone change the light, and Alfredo did it free of charge. Alfredo was warm and welcoming, and answered any questions I had patiently and concise. I really appreciate his help.

Just wanted one headlight credit card reader would lock up reading my card...gitl behind counter was too busy on her phone to pay attention to the fact the reader locked up..had to go to another register snd do it all over again...she told me their system has trouble resding Discover cards...finally had to use a Visa card and it went through..there is nothing wrong with my Discover card I use it all the time it is their system. One clerk said they were getting an update in two weeks...two weeks too late for me...ten minutes to get one light bulb....i was the only customer....just sad

I like to check out here first for my car pieces because their prices are among the best. They help you out with questions and also explain the problems or issues you might be having with your car. Plenty of parking space. Wheelchair accessible. You can also earn $25 when u spend $20 for five times...that's not bad...since there is always something you need for a car. This store has everything.

I ve had issues with my battery, so I pulled up trying to get my battery checked and replaced and they refused to check my battery because it was drizzling.I understand if it was snowing or a thunderstorm, but a little bit of rain never hurt anyone. Last time I walk into an auto zone. Drove to o Reilly s and they didn t even think twice before checking my battery.Just plain laziness.I think the name tag said Alfredo, although I don t recall exactly the name.

Purchased a battery for my wife's car that autozone said was the correct size. It was not (apparently there are two different types of battery for her car and autozone only carries one of them). When I brought it home and realized it wouldn't fit properly I brought it back to return it. The cashier must not have processed the refund of the battery properly because I was never refunded (I also never got a receipt for the return) and now I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company but there is no record of the return in their system even though I physically gave this battery back to this store. Train your staff better on how to use your systems.

Bought fuses and car air freshners. Employee spent a little too much time talking to employee than scanning my products so I can leave. But other then that no issues.

Poor customer service. I Purchased front brake pads.When my mechanic began to install them, he realized that I had be sold the wrong pads.The same say I went back to store to return the pads only to be berated by the cashier. The store manager, who was helping another customer, left her customer to assist in the assault. After finally getting a few hours after the p purchasing only to be berated by the

The employee Shante H. Was probably the worst employee at an auto parts store I've ever encountered.I asked her to explain the difference between the platinum and gold car battery and her response "one is platinum, one is gold". I had to wall out at that point.
